When You Cheer Him Up

Darkness has been feeling kind of stressed lately and has been spending more time in his office than in his throne room. He doesn't mind you coming into his office, but you know it's best to leave him be until he's done. What is he doing? Well, let's just say he had a disagreement with one of the Hell Lords and he has a feeling that it's best to take over that Hell Lord's territory than to risk getting fucked over at a later date. So he's been trying to come up with a clever plan to take over that territory without losing too much of his army.

And that's what he's doing right now. He's been trying to come up with a good war plan for days now and the stress of it is getting to him. So that's why you wanted to surprise him with something special.

For one, he loves it when you dress in a cute yet gothic outfit involving a short black skirt. He loves to rub your thighs. And two, you remember you made him his favorite dessert, and he loved it.

You stand outside his office door while holding a wooden tray of his favorite dessert and beverage, all while wearing one of your many gothic outfits, including the black little skirt. Of course, you didn't forget about that. You then knock on the door and wait for his response.

Darkness: You may enter.

.

You slowly open the door and make your way inside before shutting the door with your leg behind you. You see him focused on a couple of large scrolls resembling blueprints and he makes a couple of marks with his blood pen.

Y/n: (Smile) Hey, I brought you something.

.

The second he hears your voice is when he finally looks up from his work and smiles. The end of his tail even wags a bit, seeing you in a short skirt.

.

Y/n: I hope you're not too busy, I brought you something to eat.

Lord: I am never busy enough for you.

.

You walk to him and you place the tray next to him so that it doesn't cover the map scrolls. You can see the many erased blood marks he's made on them, meaning he's been incredibly focused on this.

.

Y/n: Still working on that?

Darkness: Yes.

.

He just pulls you into his lap and takes another look back at his work. You grab the plate and fork and start feeding him as he continues to work. With one hand on your thigh and the other holding the blood pen, you take a look at the maps yourself as he writes down a couple of notes.

You know, this kind of reminds you of this one game you used to play a few years ago. It was a multi-player online game where you and your team have to try to ambush and attack the other team with whatever knowledge you were allowed to have on the map. It took you a while to know every area of every map, and you were really good at coming up with a plan to ambush them.

Maybe you could think about it in your mind. You know about Darkness forces and what they're capable of. Looking at the notes, you see what the enemy's army is capable of. It takes you a couple of minutes, but you finally realize what area he's looking at. You remember reading about it in one of the books in his library.

Y/n: I remember reading that in this specific mountain here that there are secret tunnels the first five original demons built.

Darkness: Oh yes. Apparently, one of them disappeared, never to be heard from or seen again in all of Hell.

Y/n: Well, in the book that I read. That demon didn't disappear but instead turned into part of the mountain. Apparently, whoever takes control of the mountain from the reminding of the original demons will have access to its dangerous form of smoke and a form of fire canons.

Darkness: Which book did you read?

Y/n: I forgot what it's called, but it's the one I showed you the other day. You know, when you were first telling me about the basic areas around here. I read further than the first chapters, and that's what I read.

.

You also tell him about how the maps resemble the maps you used to play in, including making plans to attack the other team. Just out of curiosity, he asks you how you would do it. You tell him every plan you've come up with, your strategies, and what you've learned in order to predict the other team's next move and location based on the previous rounds.

After you're done, it's like an idea came to his mind and he immediately writes it down before relocating to where his army would be.

Darkness: Why haven't I thought of that before? It will be simple to place a third of them here, and the rest below the mountain.

.

While he continues to write his new plan, you lean your head against his chest and just watch and listen to him talk about his new strategies. You're so glad you got to help him with this.

After a few minutes of just leaning against him like this, you begin to feel a little sleepy and decided to take a nap while still sitting on his lap. You know that he doesn't mind you sleeping on him. Hell, you prefer sleeping on him.

An hour passes, and he's finally done with his war plan. He looks down at you and sees you've fallen asleep while still holding the plate in your hands. He smiles, taking the plate away and setting it on the table. As he stands up, he keeps you in his grip without waking you up.

He's knows you're going to be asleep for a little while since it's not uncommon for you to take a couple-hour nap. But when you do, he wants to make sure you're in a comfortable setting and position. So he carries you back to the bedroom and sets you gently on the bed before covering you with the blankets and leaving you be for now.
