Mei Lin entertains the board members

"What's your name beauty?" Xe Feng asked rather serious. "Am Mei Lin sir, I'll be at your service for today" she bowed her head not because she was respectful but because she was embarrassed to look at him .

"Ok Mei Lin, can you serve these guests some drink then wait at the corner for my orders. Am I clear enough." Xe Feng spoke calmly but in an authoritive tone which made Mei Lin shudder with fear, " Yes sir, I'll do my best " she faked a smiled then walked over and poured some drink to the other guests in the suit.

When Xe Feng was interacting with Mei Lin earlier all the other guests where in for a shock as they knew him to be merciless and cold towards women . "How come he interacted with the waitress as if they have long known each other , and she doesn't seem to be of his league.... huh.❔❔big question marks were hanging on there heads as they couldn't wrap around what had just happened.

Mei Lin served the guests some red wine and then went to stand in the corner to wait for more orders from Xe Feng who seemed to be there Boss. " Wow these people are so organized in his presence I wonder who he is, but since I doñt follow up with the internet I loose alot on the outside world "

Xe Feng had come here to meet with his business partners but they seem intimidated by him.

" So when we add that to our current plan .... the stocks while rise and we shall be gaining more profit but at the same time securing our spot on the business world we can't loose out to our rivals. " one of the members on board commented and he received an applause which made him smile.

Mei Lin was studying them from afar thinking " how could they hold on like that without food ahh if it was the gullible me I would have cried until someone got me food . I can't withstand that ,... ahh... I'll go and check on them I can't watch them go hungry while thinking of a way to make profits.

Now all eyes were turned to her, while she was lost in thoughts she hadn't reconsidered that they might be loud and clear to them because she was speaking louder while staring into space and she hadn't given it a thought.

" Did I just mess up again... what is this again .. why are they all looking at me .. " but suddenly she hears herself speaking out loud and then she gasps and covers her mouth with her both hands.

She scanned the vicinity looking for an escape route. But all she got in return were soft chuckles from the board members. " Am I funny she murmurs to herself whilst anyone hears .

Xe Feng who was also trying hard not to laugh couldn't help but find her rather cute and amusing.

To day maybe the happiest day for everyone. Soon after Xe Feng called Mei Lin to come over and take each and everyone's order.

She decided it was time for escape so she happily took the orders but since the elder and sharpy ones had seen through her they decided to cut some slack for her.
