81 81- Fail

"HUF HUF HUF. What the hell? Why can't I see the future?" -Aska muttered to himself as he was sitting down under the pillar in the circular room.

"Good work Aska. I never thought anyone can complete this room this fast. You did it and you did it without most of your senses" - Nezu walked into the room

Aska was not happy at all. He can feel that his observation haki had gotten better, further, more accurate, but no future sight. The purpose of this whole training room was to unlock future sight.

'*Sigh* This is bullshit! I've been training and using my observation haki for years, and I can't even advance it? What kind of bullshit is this?!' Aska frowned

"Why the long face young man?" - All Might's voice brought Aska out of his thoughts

Aska has been training in the custom built room for three weeks. His training has been so intense. The room was beyond hard. It took Aska three weeks, 16 hours a day for him to pass the room. Also over the past three weeks, All Might has been coming over to check on Aska. When he saw the training rooms (The first room and the custom built one) All Might had wanted Midoriya to use them.

Mr. Aizawa complained about students leaving class, but he decided to let Midoriya join Aska after All Might assured him that he will take care of the two of them.

Midoriya is able to use 9% of OFA without damaging himself. But he lacks in so many aspects. Even though he is fast enough to pass the first training room, he still can't. He has no flexibility, or originality. He only copies moves, which would be fine if the moves were compatible with his body size. But trying to copy the way All Might fights, is wrong.

Obviously Aska gave Midoriya a few advices here and there about how to adjust his style of fist fighting. All Might on the other hand had recommended for him to use his feet. Anyway, Midoriya had started developing his own unique style.

Back to Aska's dilemma. Even after training for three weeks he still couldn't unlock future sight.

"Nothing much All Might. I was thinking about the upcoming provisional license exam" - Aska finally answered his teacher.

"Don't be worried! I'm certain you will pass it" - All Might said with his signature smile

Unlike All Might who was oblivious, Nezu had caught on to Aska's thoughts.

'There is no one his age in this country who can keep up with him. So obviously he is not worried about the exam. No, it's more of disappointment than worry. But what is he disappointed about. Is he not happy with his performance in passing the room? Was he expecting to achieve something while training in this room? It seems like he wanted to achieve something, but failed' Nezu's brain quickly thought of different reasons.

'I wonder what am I doing wrong? I remember clearly that Luffy had his observation haki for a short amount of time. He trained for two years and then he used it for a short while before he awakened the advanced form of it. I awakened observation haki over ten years ago! Now either Rayleigh is a much better teacher than I thought he was, or Luffy is a much more of a genius than I though he was...or the stress of being in a tough fight is what was needed to push him to advance his haki!' Aska kept on analyzing why he failed at advancing his observation haki.

The group of three made their way to the elevator that took them to the surface. All Might was thinking about Midoriya's improvement over the last few weeks, Nezu was busy with thinking about many different things at the same time, While Aksa was worried about how to go about acquiring advanced observation.

The group of three quietly made it to the surface and they split into three different direction. Each going their own way.

'Let's stop thinking about observation haki for now. What I'm happy about right now is my armament haki. I had made huge improvements in armament haki. Before I could barely cover my entire body, but now I can cover my body and some more. That would be good if I want to use a weapon and cover myself in haki at the same time. Also because of how often I used armament haki, it became instinctive to me.'

As Aska was walking towards the front entrance, he saw the training facility where his classmates are training. So Aska decided to go see them before he leaves.

Stepping through the door, he saw a familiar sight of the room. His classmates wrapping up their training.

"Hey guys" - Aska said

Most of the students were already packed up and ready to go.

"Aska, where have you been man?' - Kirishima

"Yeah, what gives. You have been gone for some time" - Kaminari

"I was just doing some training, that's all. How about you guys, any cool moves you guys came up with" - Aska started doing some small talk

"Oh we got some cool moves now! You won't believe what I can do now...

Kaminari started talking with Aska, Kirishima would jump in every now and then to tell about his moves.

"Uhm Uhm" Aska heard from behind him. He turned around and looked behind him. He saw Momo standing there.

"Momo, long time no see" - Aska laughed as he scratched the back of his head

"Yeah, I know. Three weeks to be exact, you don't answer, you barely text back, and you don't show up at all" - Momo

"Ha haha. I'm sorry about that. I was busy with my training" - Aska

"Training? Really? You train everyday all day?" - Momo

"Actually yes"

"Really"

"Yeah. I had to go through so much over the past three weeks" - Aska

"Fine" - Momo seems unconvinced

"Lets walk together" - Aska

Momo walked next to Aska as they made their way towards the exit.

Momo had texted her driver and told him to wait at the bottom of the mountain. She wanted to walk with Aska for a little while longer.

Aska and Momo chatted as they made their way to the bottom of the mountain. The talked about many things like their training.

"Anyway, are you as nervous as I am" - Momo

"About what?" - Aska

"The exam is in three days. I hear that the passing rate is very slim" - Momo

"I know, but we are the best of the best. We will do fine" - Aska assured her

By the time they were done chatting about many things, they had already gotten to the foot of the mountain.

"See you later Aska" - Momo said before she jumped into the back seat of her limo.

Aska watched her take off, before he made his way to his house. Aska talked with his parents for some time before he went to sleep.

*1:00 AM*

Aska woke up in the middle of the night.

'Ugh, I'm so thirsty' Aska groggily mumbled as he walked down the stairs

'I want to drink apple juice' - Aska thought as he opened the fridge. He looked all over the fridge for apple juice but he couldn't find any.

'What the hell dad. He had to go and drink it all. *Sigh* I really want apple juice'

Aska walked back up to his room, he grabbed his phone and his wallet and then sneakily jumped out of the window.

Aska made sure to not wake his parents up. He then went to a 24 hour convenience store that was near his house.

Aksa walked into the store, and went straight to the juice fridge. He picked two small packets of apple juice, and walked to the counter to pay.

Once he paid, Aska made his out the store and started making his way back home. On his way he put one of the packets in his pocket and he opened the second juice packet and put the straw in it.

'Man, that's the stuff! It tastes so good when its this cold...hum?' - Aska was happy to quench his thirst, but suddenly something came rushing at him. In an instant something purple flashed before his eyes, before he was hit in the chest area.

Aska wrapped his chest in armament haki purely on instinct. And fortunately he did. The purple object that smashed into him, had sent him flying for kilometers.

Aska had a calm expression on his face, even as he was attacked. He can feel the cold night air drift through his fingers as he was launched faster than a rocket.

It took Aska a whole minute of constantly getting pushed back before he was forcibly stopped. He was smashed into the side of a mountain that was near the city.

'Damn, that was something' Aska thought as he looked in one direction

"Aska Minamoto. You're quite the individual. I heard quite a bit about you" - Said a boy, the same age as Aska. The boy had on a dark purple mask that matched the dark purple cloak he was wearing

"Sadly I can't extend the same curtsy to you. I never heard of a freak in a purple mask" - Aska said with a shrug

"Hahaha. This attitude, fit of the so called god of lightning" - The purple masked man laughed as he looked at Aska

"So, lets cut to the chase. I can tell that I'm stronger than you. So we can either fight, and honestly I'm kind of pissed at you for spilling my apple juice, so I might just kill you here with no one around" - Aska threatened

"You think you can kill me" - The purple masked man said in a mocking tone

"You think I can't?" - Aska's tone got really threatening all of the sudden, even the purple masked man felt chills run down his spine

"As fun as that would be, I'm here to extend an invitation to you" - The man said as he reached into his cloak and pulled out a metal card about the size of a credit card. The man tossed the card to Aska, who just caught it casually.

Aska looked at the metal. The card had engraving on it. It had Aska's name engraved on one side, and on the other side it had a set of numbers. Aska can tell that the numbers were coordinates.

"The meeting time is in two days. I'm certain that you will like what we have to offer. Besides you get to meet the others" - The masked man

"I'm not going. Thanks, but I'm not interested in joining a cult. Even if you want to worship me as a god" - Aska

"Like I said, I'm certain you will like what we have to say" - The masked man

"Even if. I have prior plans." - Aska said as he tossed the metal card on the ground and started walking away.

The masked man took a step to get in Aska's way, but the instant he took a step, the metal card that was laying on the ground had launched at the man's neck.

Purple substance started to float around the masked man.

"So you want to fight, eh? It's so cliché, the hero refuses to join the villain, so what does the villain do? Fight the hero to convince him. *Sigh* I just wanted apple juice"
