10 Chapter 10

I wake up disorientated as two different lives clash. My last life as Silva gym leader, pokemon trainer, and dimension jumper came back to me quickly. My life as Rukh Loch Nuk, He Who Speaks, an exceptional member of the giant clan. My life as a giant was abnormal. I was born with a more developed throat easily capable of speech. Unlike the rest of my tribe who had to suffer through a broken dialect of the old tongue. The tribe saw my usefulness and began training me for interacting with the free folk clans. Mostly some simple trade and bartering advice as well as warrior training. Most giants aren't warriors they're hunters or they tend the mammoths. Hunters are close to warriors but practice more with tracking or with bows. Most giants are women the gender split is closer 2:1 then an even split. The free folk typically gather in groups of less than 20 and a normal giant is quite capable of taking ten men and for a warrior giant it's at least 25. So, only the biggest free folk clan would even consider attacking us. There wouldn't be many rewards either. I mean we keep a mammoth heard but there are still wild mammoths so why attack somebody you can get for free. This allowed the clan to get away with having so few warriors.

That is how it was for most of my childhood. My childhood was very long even for a society that sees 14-year-olds as adults, it was nearly 20 years before I reached the giant equivalent of adulthood. As I grew up beyond my ability to talk, I also stood out because of my size. I was giant, well obviously, but I was giant for a giant. I was always at least a head taller than my peers and when I was fully grown I was close to 16 ft tall and larger than the next tallest giant by 2 ft. There had already been whispers of involvement of the old gods, and then I came back one day wearing plate mail, an enormous magic sword, and the horn of the first giant king. Then they weren't whispers anymore. I challenged Mag Mar Tun Doh Weg for his position as King. It was settled in the old way. Wrestling. After I pulled off a full Nelson into a chokehold he abdicated making me the new king of giants.

My first act as King was to gather the tribe. We were already unified as one tribe, but it was fragmented and we were spread out. In the recent year, the free folk clans had been unifying into fewer and fewer clans and it was no longer safe for us to be split off from the heard.

That's when the lives came back together after He Who Speaks had gathered the tribes for safety from the growing free folk clans as well as whispers of the old enemy.

By regaining control of my actions I realize my actions are now on the clock. In less then 5 years if nothing changes the giants will be extinct. I think my mere existence has somewhat helped as I think a lot of the early deaths were caused by giants just being too spread out. My backstory saved me a lot of time gathering all the giants together. The plan right now requires me to let the plot of the show happen. Only really altering things once Mance Rayder gathers the free folk, becomes their king, and attacks the wall. In the show, they have one half-hearted attack on the wall then parley with the watch in hopes of being allowed south. Only for Stannis to come north and slaughter them. Fucking Stannis murdering droves of women and children. I plan to push forward the attack sooner using Jourman's horn to blow open a path south that all the free folk can use. With the Free folk now south of the wall Stannis and the rest of the seven kingdoms will have to deal with the hoard 100k strong going south into the 7 kingdoms. Leaving the true north without any guards or attention. I'll collapse the tunnel and the nights watch strong holds on the wall switching the direction of protection. Keeping them all away from the true north.

Then all I have to deal with is the night king and the others. However, there is an easy solution once the night king is dead all of the other others, and white walkers will die as well. Now, this might be easier said than done, but Arya is able to kill the night king with a dagger. Not that Arya isn't impressive, but I'm supernaturally strong, fast, and in possession of Pokemon. Once the Night King and the white walker aren't a threat the giants and Children will have free rule over the true north. Without the 100k+ free folk, my giants will have access to near inexhaustible natural resources. That is assuming that everything goes according to TV version canon, but worst case I should be able to escape a direct fight with the Night King then transport the giants somewhere else.

In the original 'good' ending the seven kingdoms arrived at peace. Although, the future implications for the seven kingdoms we're terrible. First, the north seceded from the rest of the country. The north actually might be the best off in the long term a Stark in charge at Winterfell and king of the other six kingdoms. Not that Bran will be a good king or even a long-lasting king. But the north was wrecked by the years of war and with a long winter still coming internal conflicts will probably be kept to a minimum. The north will probably be the target for pirates and Iron born raiders though.

The iron Islands will probably secede also. With the north leaving they have no real reason to stay. Same with Dorne although Dorne might fall into the other major cause for problems also. The Martels have been terrible rulers for the last couple of decades and the last three wars have shown that bad rulers should be killed and usurped. That goes for Dorne, Westerlands, Stormlands, and the Reach. Which are all lead by respectively a Widow, an Imp, a Bastard, and a Sell-Sword. How long do those rulerships last. The Vale and Riverlands might be fine hard to tell they got pushed to the wayside of the story.

King Bran the Broken is also going to be a problem. Bran had been the most useless character. From an audience point of view he's helpful because we get to learn back story, but in an actual zombie apocalypse who cares why it happening. He's also bad with his greenseeing. He finds out Jon is a Targaryen and just assumes he's a bastard. Didn't dig any deeper. He has a near unlimited historical perspective and doesn't investigate the ancient empires. Their military strategy, technological innovations, or magical knowledge. He doesn't map out Sothoryos or what's west of Westeros. He has access to more knowledge than any human ever and he treats it like a reference book. They made him king and he's still a cripple. He's generally freaky and unlikable. He also uses magic which has no good connotation in Westeros just burning people alive. Finally he is also a child. There is no way the common people or the faith accept him as King.

This has just been internal problems. It's going to be open season on Westeros from Essos and pirates. In the cannon ending Westeros is fucked. So hopefully, Plan A goes according to plan. Otherwise, it will require a more in-depth solution.
