24) 2 Years= 1 Month (1).....

READ!!!! (So for those who haven't read Everyone Else is a Returnee then you might not know what I am talking about here in the beginning but if you have read it then you know. To those who haven't I strongly recommend it.) ENJOY!!!!

The next morning after everyone woke up they met in the living room, seeing everyone there Cory spoke, "Well guys you all know that we all need to learn more before this next year starts so I have something that is going to help us." He took out an hourglass that was shinning golden.

[Hourglass of Eternity- Once a month, the user can deploy a barrier on the surrounding space and freeze time. Time will flow outside at a ratio of 2 years:1month. Those not permitted by the owner cannot enter the barrier. People inside barrier will not age.]

Telling them what it did broke their minds a little at the godly thing he was holding, "No we can learn as much as we can in a two year time while not having to rush a lot of subjects, with this I think I will at least be able to learn everything up to sixth year seventh if I am lucky."

(This is better than using the summer which isn't enough time to actually make it to seventh year studies.)

"Wait when did you get that?" His dad asked looking at it he really wanted to see the mechanics of it but knew that if it was a dungeon item then it was pointless. Harry and Sirius sat stunned knowing that there was something like this but Sirius grinned thinking with this he had more time to help Harry become a master flirter.

"It has been siting in my inventory for awhile but I haven't gotten a chance to use it hasn't has any use until now." Cory answered with a shrug. The rest nodded with Sirius and Harry looking at them with question marks but it would be answered later so they didn't explain it for now.

Seeing that everyone was ready he turned the hourglass over activating it, after a second it felt like something shifted them each feeling the barrier going up around the house. Going to the window Cory looked out side and saw that everyone who was on the street was walking in slow motion, he smiled and turned back to the family, "Well let's get started."

-----Cory POV 2months later-----

Sitting at my desk I let out a breath of exhaustion thinking about everything that happened these past two months. After I put up the barrier and time slowed down my mom dragged off Rosalie and Artemis followed them along, I haven't seen them sense.

My dad smiled sinisterly at me and dragged me into his study too, the last thing I saw before the door close was Sirius waving at me but I saw the pity in his eyes. When we went inside my dad started by throwing eight different Rune books in front of me, that started my hellish training of learning everything there was to know about Runes.

Now I couldn't say I was a master but my dad was and after training under him it was like a whole new world opened up to me, when I had enough understanding he gave me a project.

---Flashback---

"Alright Son, now that you have learned everything beyond seventh year it is time for your first project. I want you to use runes to make anything you want but it has to be fully powered by them, while you do that I will work on the electronics." My dad told me as he picked up one of the many phones they had and started to work on them.

Nodding I sat there and thought about it there were some things that I wanted to make but those would come later since I still needed to learn Charms and Transfiguration for them. My dad was only teaching me; Runes, Transfiguration, and Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, and Dark arts.

That's right Dark Arts, my parents thought that it was a good idea seeing as they have been using it for months now with their new wands and it wasn't effecting them at all. When I heard that I got an idea but it had to wait until I was more advanced with magic because mistakes could be made without enough knowledge but I had two years to learn as much as possible.

Getting back to my project I decided to follow along with my dad and work on some electronics he never said it couldn't be the same thing as long as I did it on my own. The problems with magic and electronics coming together was the fact that they were two different elements, you could look at it as electronics being light while magic was dark.

The two just didn't mix. Until you found the things that brought them together, I thought about it all and I remembered a phrase, 'In darkness there is always light.' While it didn't help it did motivate me to keep going even when it seemed impossible, I was working on the computers seeing as I wanted to bring that with me to Hogwarts.

While looing it over and matching Runes I heard my dad shout out, "I got it!" looking over at him he hid it from me and told me to figure it out for myself. With even more determination I went to doing it and it was getting hard to think about what I needed to combine the two or somehow redirect magic when it comes into contact wit the equipment.

Then I have my own moment of understanding, putting a few gathering Runes on it I made it where it would capture the magic before it could sort circuit anything. This was only a small solution though since it would eventually overload with magic, thinking of that I started drawing more runes that would transfer the gathered magic into a medium then release slowly over time.

Sometime while lost in drawing them my dad ended upstanding behind me, looking back he had an impressed look on his face, "I didn't think of this, this is a good idea it doesn't overload the system and if wanted the gathered magic could be used for something else."

"Then what did you do?" I asked since it seemed he did something different.

"Well you are still a beginner so you took the easier route. I did it a little differently and took circuit board and microchips and made them useable by magic by making them magic based instead of using electricity. This way it isn't dependent on it at all and it will last a lot longer." My dad explained making me realize it was a good idea, though I am smart I didn't think of that.

"Don't worry about not thinking of that it would have been hard for anyone just learning to understand it, just know that your way is also useful but you also need to look at it as the magical world not using Electricity." He said looking at my enlightened face but hearing him made me facepalm since I didn't event think of that while working on it.

"Well then it seems like mine isn't really needed then since yours could also be used to make lightbulbs and other things work there." I said nodding along.

"True." Anyway lets move on.

------Flashback end-----

That is why I was sighing seeing as the project was easy but I didn't broaden my mind enough to actually think of that, now we were about to move on to Transfiguration seeing as there was nothing left for me to learn. Looking at my dad he was pulling out another arm full of books, looks like it was going to be another long two months of training.

-------Five Months Later----

Well it took longer than I thought to get this one done, this was just harder for me to learn since it wasn't something easily taught. It was really hard the further you got into it too which made me suffer some, after awhile though I did pick it up eventually and could do most of it wandless too.

Looking at my new project although it was cool to see I missed Rosalie and Artemis, over these months only saw them twice, seeing as none of us needed to sleep we worked a lot harder. The only people in the house getting real sleep was Harry and Sirius, and can I just say that is a whole knew Harry he is nothing like the timid kid I met some time ago.

After training with Sirius he was now a lady killer even if he hadn't tried it on any girls yet, he was also a little distant when he talked about the Weasley's. After the Horcrux was taken out his thinking and intelligence improved so he was looking at everything clearly now, looking back on his life he knew they were no good.

Three months into Transfiguration he also joined me in training, Sirius was good but he couldn't teach him everything that my dad could. Though he did promise to teach Harry Battle Magic making the fourteen year old excited to learn something new about magic.

After I learned all I could from Transfiguration until I could work more with it I started on something I read in a Fan-Fic in my past life, in front of me was a little bird and a model of a person. The bird was a black Raven that was bigger than the person but it looked hauntingly beautiful when people saw it, the person was slowly coming to look like a girl though.

I was able to complete them about two weeks ago but since runes couldn't let me get to what I wanted them to do then I needed to wait until I learned some more charms. My dad learning my plans wanted his own when I finally figured it out, if I got it all done then this was something I was also going to offer at Hogwarts when I went but only if I got it done.

Harry was currently sitting next to me he had bags under his eyes and his hair was disheveled, he learned we didn't sleep so he also didn't for two days just to keep up. He was now in about sixth year when it came to Runes and Transfiguration while his new Battle Magic let him go toe to toe with Sirius but he lost in stamina.

To help the kid out I slid a potion to him, it wasn't like the ones that he was use to this was a type of pepper up potion but it would keep him fresh and awake for a week without draw backs. He took it and then his whole demeanor changed he gave me a grateful smile before going back into his books.

I went back to my project and looked over the Raven and girl sitting in front of me, with the Runes I put into them they could move like robots but do nothing else. With the Charms I learned I would be able to make them more life like, my goal was to make something similar to Pokémon but with creatures for the magical world.

This was going to my first one it was going to be above the rest and not have a weakness when it came to battle, who can call it cheating when I was the one who came up with it. This world didn't have Pokémon at all and I could just make that but I wanted something that was more my own with the same rules.

It would be up to six creatures carried by a person, each would have a different element like regular Pokémon along with something to carry them or make them hide when not in use. My mom was the Charm master of the family but she wouldn't be teaching me until next year so until then I would only get all the designs down for the different ones I wanted. Screw 151 I was going to release all 800 when I went.

Harry was going to be a big supporter to since he kept stealing glances and wanted his own to go along with them, he would be my first customer when the time came. Other than those I didn't work on anything else for that subject and just got ready for the next one that was going to be taught to me.

---------Two Months Later-----

These last two months were the easiest since all I was taught was COMC and Herbology, they went by like breeze with me only taking a month each to learn about the different things in each. That is all the classes were unless they did a little hands on training, it still surprised me when my dad opened the closet door in his office and out came a Hippogriff.

That was something that I wasn't expecting neither was Harry as we sat there with our mouths hanging open, looking inside the closet there was a whole forest inside so who knew what was there. After that five more came out they were each different and my dad taught us the different biology and environment that they should be kept at.

Turns out my dad is close to Newt Scamander who set this up where his famous suit case was linked to my dads office. That was a fun time but not something I was really in to since I was more of a let them live freely type of guy, sure they were hunted and stuff but survival of the fittest and all that.

----Three Months Later

I finally learned everything and the Dark Arts were more interesting than I thought, they were always talked about as bad and corrupting but they were truly something I could get into. With the help of our custom wands the Dark Arts didn't effect us and actually came out as natural as it did with regular magic.

There was some that I stayed away from though that was actually so dark it made me want to throw up thinking about what I would have to do to learn them or preform them. Luckily my dad didn't touch on those to much and let me spend the last month learning to Apparition around the house.

Once I master it though I ignored everything magic and caught up with Rosalie who came out from my mothers 'workshop' looking like she went through hell. It made me rethink if it was really worth it to learn from her but one look at her and I knew I wasn't getting away.

Harry looked at Sirius with a pleading look but the man ignored him in favor of being in another tea party he didn't want to end up on my moms bad side. Taking Rosalie's hand we both relaxed in a bath and had some fun in the bedroom before relaxing over the free week we got before going back into work.
