Chapter 2: City of Elves

We walked for a few more hours before we stopped.

"We're here". She told me

"So where is your hometown?" I asked miya

She raised her hand and a blind light instantly shined from her hands. Moments later a gate opens in front of us. When we walked inside, we were in the same forest except there were treehouses all around me and in each house there was a family of elves living inside it.

"Wow!" I gasped

"Our home is protected by a magical barrier where our enemies cannot reach us, the only way to get in here is through that gate that we just passed and it can only be open with the power of elf magic." Miya explained

We went to their headquarters in order for miya to report what happened to my village. Inside the headquarters, there was a man with white hair and also wearing a coat while holding a book with a cover shaped like a moon. Beside him was a small girl with oranger hair leaning on what it seems to be a big hammer.

"This guy is our chief, Estes. He ensures the safety of all our people here and is the strongest of all the elves living here." Miya told me

"So miya, any news about your trip to the village that I told you about?" Estes asked

"Alice and balmond attack the village before I was able to arrive. When I arrived, every villager was dead except for this boy which is also nearly killed at the hands of balmond so I saved him and brought him here to our hometown, his name is Alucard and he is a Dracula."

"It seems that the war in the land of Dawn has already started. Lolita, prepare all our troops, have them ready for the upcoming battles incase our enemies are able to break in." Estes ordered Lolita

"But sir, only elves are able to enter our home right? So we shouldn't have any problem when it comes to enemies entering our land." Lolita explained

"No... there is someone who can still open the gate. Someone who can either be controlled or forced to open the gate."

"You mean the other elves that left the village?" Miya asked

"Yes! So we should have all our soldiers prepare for battle and our civilians evacuate as soon as possible, we can never know when they will attack but if they do then we will be ready. Miya I trust that Alucard will be safe in your hands." Estes said

"Yes sir!" Miya said confidently

Years passed with no attacks, miya treated me well and also trained me to be a fighter so that I will be able to protect those that I love. She treated me like her younger brother and I treated her like my sister. I grew up to be a man that swore to protect her and my village that I live in now.
