Taking initiative

As the day progressed

The two old ladies came by and ordered coffee, Tenshi smiled gently at them, making them coffee. Apparently, they didn't actually like chocolate! Who knew.

Even Naruto came by, looking shifty. Tenshi smiled and Naruto's stomach rumbled. Tenshi tilted his head and figured he could buy some pastries… he looked at his plates and rubbed his chin, he should buy some plates.

The day went by and Tenshi closed the cafe, walking down the street to a store.

He walked around looking at the wares.

He picked up a stack of clay plates before coming to the counter, asking "I was wondering if you made Clay bottles?" the lady smiled gently and replied "I have to ask my husband, but it shouldn't be a problem."

Tenshi smiled softly and nodded, "Please." the lady walked away and a man came out, saying gruffly, "Clay bottles?" Tenshi smiled and nodded, explaining "Yeah… They should hold about 12oz of water and sealable." the man rubbed his chin and nodded, "This isn't a problem."

Tenshi smiled and asked, "Is it possible to carve a label on them?" The man nodded and asked "What do you want?" Tenshi drew his cafe name on a piece of paper, asking "I was thinking of around 50 of them, is it possible?"

The man raised a brow, asking "50?" Tenshi smiled and nodded, the man hummed to himself, "Not a problem. But it'll take some time." Tenshi asked "How long do you think?" The man replied "Around 10-15 days. 1200 Ryo each."

Tenshi thought about it before nodding "Alright." the man nodded and said "I'll deliver it then, the total comes to 60,000 Ryo. Leave a downpayment of 10,000 and pay the rest when they're delivered." Tenshi smiled happily and put 10,000 Ryo on the counter, then put an extra 1000 for the plates as he said "Thank you." before leaving the store.

He held the plates and hummed to himself as he looked around for a bakery.

He found one on the way home and walked inside.

A lively little girl smiled happily, "Hello mister! How can I help you?" Tenshi smiled gently, asking "When do you open tomorrow?" The little girl touched her lips, saying "Around 6 in the morning. But all the pastries are made before them. Ah!" she ran off, shouting "Daddy!"

A few moments later, a big man walked out, nodding "Hello, sir. We usually start preparing the desserts before opening. Everything is fresh each day." Tenshi nodded and rubbed his chin, asking "If I want to make a bulk order in the morning, would that be possible?"

The man nodded with a smile and said "Not an issue. How much were you looking to buy?" Tenshi looked around and said "Mochi Dango sticks, Chocolate Biscuits, Doughnuts, and Slices of cake. 5 each for now." The man tilted his head and nodded, "Sure!" Tenshi continued, "I own the cafe in the center of the village, I was going to sell them… Do they need to be refrigerated?"

The man shook his head and smiled, "No. However, I'd say you should leave them for the next day." a woman walked out behind him, smoking a pipe with a fierce expression. Tenshi was startled, this woman looked like a gang member!

She pressed on the counter and sneered, "Resale? For nothing? Are you dreaming!?" Tenshi was speechless and the man said softly, "Aino…" Aino snorted "Can it, cutie! I'm doin' business here!" the little girl hung from her father's back, giggling "Ah! Daddy went quiet again."

Tenshi smiled gently, "Um… Is it not okay?" Aino snorted smoke from her nose and said "Of course not! I'll sell, 20% discount too. But you have to advertise our bakery next to the pastries. Make a sign or something, I don't care!" She pointed her pipe at him, saying fiercely "I'll hang around! If I don't see a sign… heh!"

Tenshi's lips twitched and he nodded, "A-Alright… You should really come by…" he handed them a card and smiled softly, "Hibari's in the center of the village. We open at dawn and close at dusk. See you then!" as he walked out of the bakery, humming to himself, going home.

Aino looked at the card and snorted, "Damn sissy!" her Husband rubbed his eyes and sighed, "He's a customer! Can you not be so rude?" Aino snorted and raised her chin, "You have something to say?!" The man let out a breath, saying seriously "You'll find out what I have to say tonight, you hooligan." Aino blushed and snorted "Heh. Better get it off your chest then, flower boy."

Tenshi went home and cleaned himself before going to find Kakashi for training.

The next morning

Tenshi picked up the pastries before heading to the cafe, he opened the door and looked around before setting up the pastries, setting down the plates on the side behind the counter.

He started cleaning and ended with wiping down Hibari's picture, looking around, wondering where Guy was? He wasn't usually late.

Finally after he finished cleaning, Guy walked in with Kakashi. Tenshi looked up and blinked "Hey!" They looked at him and Guy sighed, "I just had a spar with Kakashi." Kakashi nodded, saying softly "That makes it 1582-1429 for me."

Guy sighed, saying "Most of those wins were a long time ago! They don't count!" Kakashi said seriously, "They all count, you've been my rival since our first encounter." guy was touched to tears, Kakashi would never say that he was holding onto these wins just to stay ahead… You know, sometimes Guy even opens up the Gates!

Without Sharingan he would really struggle! Even with it he was struggling!

This guy was just a monster in human skin!

Doesn't he ever get tired?

Guy and Kakashi looked at the pastries and Tenshi smiled gently while making coffee, "I'm selling pastries now. 400 Ryo each." before turning to the pastries and adding worriedly "Though I don't know if they'll taste good with coffee… I haven't tried them yet…"

Kakashi looked at the pastries before sighing, forget it, he didn't like sweets. Guy happily bought a Chocolate biscuit.

Tenshi served them gently before walking back behind the counter and cleaning.
