34. Era of the geniuses ( 2 )

In Hebrion Empire , County of Rossetti

" So Even Crown Prince Alex Hebrion failed to enter the top four " Count Rossetti murmured.

"Yes Count Rossetti, he lost to Ryan Vasamund in the round of 16."

Count Rossetti sighed as he said

"Leonhart Empire is growing too much, Not only their Crown prince Nathan Leonhart won the Competition, but they also managed to recruit Hector Berlin, who was placed 3rd in the Completion."

Even though Hector Berlin was raised by Demon Subjugation Squad, he had the right to choose the nation he wants to serve.

The Hebrion and Leonhart Empire gave him lucrative offers, Such as Hereditary Count title , millions of Gold coins and even various benefits

and in the end he choose Leonhart Empire, which didn't sit well with the Hebrion Empire.

Mainly because 3 out of 4 Continental geniuses of this generation belongs to Leonhart Empire.

which would further their stronghold even more.

And to add salt to their injury the fourth placed Greta Grese rejected them and went to Chronos Empire. Even thought they gave her a better offer.

Apparently she has fallen in love , and choose to follow him to the Chronos Empire. Her resonaning baffled even the Hebrion Empire.

(T/N :- LOL best of luck Bane. You got yourself an M. )

They are the only Nation in the entire Continent who has a Divine Rank entity in all the three formats.

It is something Hebrion was always proud of. But Currently this nation is facing a huge crises.

They don't have anyone who they can rely as their future.

While their Rivals are raising talents one after another, they also heard about a monster in the Leonhart Empire who became a '7 star Knight' at the age of 15.

These lead to more frantic situation I'm the Hebrion

In a run down house located in a Small village in the outskirts of Tempest Kingdom.

" This is all the herb that you told me to gather " A childish voice of a 10 year old kid echoed in the entire house.

A bunch of common herbs found anywhere in the continent , were placed in front of him.

" Yes this is it, I'll tell you what to do, Follow my instructions carefully, without missing a single step." An old haggard voice came from the rusty looking old sword strapped on the waist of that young kid.

"It's done, is this right Mr Sword " The child asked curiously, while swinging a vile of green potion he just made by following his newfound companion's instruction.

"How many times should I tell you, My name is Max Newman " The sword that introduced itself as Max Newman growled.

"If you're Max Newman, than I am Ivan Leonhart." the child sneered while not believing a word from the sword he found in the middle of the forest.

"Listen Kid, I don't know who this Ivan Leonhart is, but I am telling you the truth. I am indeed Max Newman, a transcendent Rank Knight and a master Alchemist. the one who defeated several demon lords and monarch's, and I even fought against the Tempest Dragon."

"Exactly, Max Newman died 5000 years ago, he died sustaining injuries , after his battle against the tempest dragon." the young child refuted.

"I didn't die, Right when I was about to chop that dragons neck off, he used his life as a catalyst to seal me inside my own sword." Max Newman took a pause before continuing.

"Forget it, it doesn't matter if you believe me or not , the important thing is, you're the only one who can hear me , take that potions and sell it to the local potion shop."

The child gave a questionable glance towards the sword but continued following its instructions obediently.

Daniel was born in a peasant family, both his father and mother work in a noble household as a serf , as a child of a serf he isn't even allowed to have a last name.

While being relatively young, he tries his best to support his family by collecting common herbs and selling It to the nearest Alchemists and potion shops.

That's when he dug up an old sword buried inside the ground, while looking for the herbs.

And soon he found out not only does this sword have its own conscience, and only he could hear it's voice.

Ever since then, for better or worse this sword has been with him teaching about various herbs and basics of swords

Today it even thought him how to make a healing potion out of common herbs found anywhere in the Continent.

"Aah Daniel, I am sorry to say we have already stocked up this months batch of herbs " A level 2 Alchemist as well as the owner of the potion shop located in the outskirts of the village replied.

"No, umm....I am here to sell these potions." Daniel replied hesitantly while placing 3 glass vials containing green coloured liquid in front of him.

"Listen Kid, Just mixing few herbs randomly, doesn't make you an Alchemist"

'Tell him this was made by your Master.' Max Newman instructed Daniel.

"Ahh, it wasn't me, It was my master, who created this potion."

Alchemist didn't say anything as he thought this kid might have gotten scammed.

He took a drop of a potion from each vials and put in a measuring device to see its grade.

Potions and Alchemists both are divided into 9 levels , with Level 1 considered lowest and Level 9 is considered highest.

Alchemists who are able to create potions , which are graded at level 7 and above are given the title of Master.

In the entire Azaroth Continent there are only 6 Master Alchemists , and everyone belongs to Maltor Empire and it's Alchemist Association.

There was a bright glow in the measuring device before displaying the number 3 , indicating it to be a level 3 Potion.

There was a Surprised look on the Alchemists face as he responded

" Impossible Impossible , you where is your master ?"

The Alchemist inquired with a blazing eyes, as if he was ready to pounce towards Daniel at any given moment.
