Chapter 15 – Bubbly VS Horned Rabbit

There were five classes of a rarity for beasts in an area. They were Super Common, Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Super Rare. Most of the time, a beast would be super common in an area but super rare in another.

The rarity could be determined with powerful appraisal skills or by simple observation.

In Maru Prairie, the Bubble beast was a super common beast. It followed by the colored butterflies, colored rabbits, and whatever colored beasts that could be found in the prairie.

In truth, the color variation beasts were not that much different than a normal animal but the game put them in different colors and gave them some simple skill to make them a beast.

Also, all of them were 1-Star beasts. They were the weakest beast in the game.

After them were the 2-star beasts which usually had a small horn, longer leg, bigger size, had wings, and so on. 2-Star beasts were usually beasts with physical changes.

In Maru Prairie, 2-star beasts were the strongest beasts the player could find. Even if they went further in Maru Prairie, they would still only find 2-star beasts. 3-Star beasts and higher were super rare in the beginner area.

The Horned Rabbit that Glen aimed to defeat at the moment was a 2-star beast. Even without the appraisal skill or the stars, it was easy to determine it by looking at their physical appearances.

The rabbit that Glen saw was a white rabbit with a small horn on its forehead. The size of the rabbit was similar to a normal rabbit and thus, it was confirmed to be a 2-Star beast. If by chance the Horned Rabbit was a bit bigger than a normal rabbit, it was possibly a 3-star beast because it had two physical changes.

Glen appraised the Horned Rabbit and his observation was correct. It was a 2-Star beast. Since the star was hidden by its fur, it was hard to determine the tier. Be that as it may, the Data Saver had stored what Glen read before and it could deduce the tier of the rabbit too.

Glen was aware of its tier a long time ago because he saw a lot of them and they were a common beast in the prairie.

"Bubbly, ready!" Glen spoke.

"Bubu!" Bubbly turned serious but he still looked as cute as usual even with the serious emoji face.

"Bubble Gun!" Glen commanded.

Bubbly sucked in some air and produced a bubble through his body. Once the bubble appeared, it increased in speed and headed to the Horned Rabbit.

The rabbit's ears perked up as it sensed the incoming attack. It looked in Bubbly's direction and saw the incoming bubble.

The rabbit squinted its eyes and its legs shone lightly and it hopped from the ground. The bubble arrived but missed its target and hit the ground.

The rabbit landed and hopped again towards Bubbly. It did not look panic at all as it rushed towards its enemy.

"Bubble Gun again!" Glen commanded. Bubbly shot the bubble again but the rabbit nimbleness and speed proved to be a problem for Bubbly because it evaded the hit once again.

Furthermore, it did not lose its speed at all and was now closer towards Bubbly. The rabbit hopped again and its horn now shone lightly as it wanted to stab Bubbly.

"Bubble Wall!" Glen commanded but it was too late. The rabbit was too fast for Bubbly and the attack hit. Bubbly was thrown back to the ground from the hit.

Glen was shocked as he did not know that the Horned Rabbit was this strong. Luckily, he had increased Bubbly's defense a lot. If he did not do that, Bubbly would easily lose this battle.

The rabbit landed on the ground and continued launching an attack at Bubbly. However, this attack hit a thick bubble wall.

'Bubble Wall can take one more hit!' Glen was relieved that the skill was still able to block the attack. If not, they might not have any chance of winning the battle.

"Bubble Gun once again!" Glen commanded.

The Rabbit was shocked with this development too. It thought that it could defeat Bubbly but there was a powerful defense erected by the enemy. The rabbit decided to take a step back but this time, it was the one late.

As they were closer to each other, Bubbly's Bubble Gun was fast enough to hit the rabbit. The rabbit was pushed back and fell to the ground.

Bubbly saw an opportunity and he used Bubble Gun once again. The bubble was shot towards the rabbit.

The rabbit knew about the incoming attack and it scurried its legs as fast as it could to evade even when it was in pain. It's hard work bore fruit as the bubble missed the target.

Be that as it may, Bubbly predicted this would happen and even without Glen's order, he used Bubble Gun a few more times to defeat the Horned Rabbit.

Glen was surprised with Bubbly's action but he was pleased too because he did not need to give an order and Bubbly was learning by himself.

The rabbit evaded a bubble but was hit with another bubble. It was flung for a few meters from the hit.

The rabbit tried to get up but then, more bubbles were coming. Thanks to Bubbly's high Energy and his skill used a low amount of energy, he could spam a lot of Bubble Gun.

The rabbit grind its teeth and tried its best to evade. With its speed and nimbleness, the rabbit succeeded in evading the first, second, and third bubble.

However, there were too many bubbles to evade. Even if the Horned Rabbit was fast, it was injured. If it was in perfect health, it had a high chance to be able to evade all the bubbles shot by Bubbly.

The fourth and fifth bubbles hit the rabbit while the sixth and seventh missed because Bubbly was rushing to attack.

Still, one hit was all he needed to defeat the Horned Rabbit.

The Horned Rabbit fell to the ground lifelessly and it glowed in light and disappeared. After that, a material was dropped by the rabbit and it was a slice of rabbit meat.

"We did it!" Glen was happy. It was a hard battle as he did not expect that the Horned Rabbit could inflict high damage.

Bubbly had 3.00 defense and he lost 0.7 HP which meant the rabbit could inflict 3.7 damage. With Bubbly's 2.00 HP, he would be immediately ousted in a single attack if he did not have high defense.

"Good job, Bubbly for acting by yourself!" Glen complimented Bubbly. He was pleased that Bubbly knew what to do even without his command. This was a major discovery as Glen would not need to give command all the time when they were fighting.

"Bubu~" Bubbly replied happily.
