Hours after Sam had woken up he was brushing his teeth in the bathroom where he was being treated and once he was down he opened to door to see Mary resting in her separate bed before he too climbed into bed and looked at Mary before he asked

"Are you sure you're okay? I can Open a gate right back into the healing pool?"

Mary looked at Sam and said

"Master you've asked me that question for over 7 hours and I'll give you the same exact answer. I'm fine but I am more worried about you as your were in worse condition than me"

Sam laid back into his bed and said as he closed his eyes

"I think I can manage till we get discharged tomorrow"

Mary then went to sleep while Sam stayed up and checked his status once more as he was overwhelmed with joy and happiness that he couldn't handle without giggling like a child who got some ice cream

Even though sam had been looking at these notifications he still could not believe it until he looked into his inventory and saw a monster core that was twice the size of the one Mary had given him and looked at its description

After Sam had received a monster core from Mary he went back to earth for a little to do some research on monster cores but he found little to no information about mutant monster cores and how to purify them at all but Sam started to feel cooped up in the hospital room and changed into some normal clothes before he opened the window and jumped to transform into a Wyvern for the first time where he felt the wind pass his whole body as he flew at new speeds then he ever thought possible till he noticed something happening in the mountains as there was a visible explosion in the distance before he started to fly in that direction before he was directly above where the explosion was heard from and saw hundreds of people surrounding one man who was wounded very badly

Sam then focused on his eyes to see a clearer vision and saw the man was holding a small child in his arms for him and the child looked up at Sam's direction which surprised Sam as he thought he was high enough that no one would notice him until he could very faintly hear a single word from the man

"Help"

Sam then dive bombed and crashed into the forest before he gave a loud and high pitched roar to gain everyone's attention before he said in a rough voice the intimated most of the crowd

""Seize your fighting now!""

Sam then looked back at the man carrying the small child and noticed they were on their knees and unarmed before he heard a woman on the back of a horse say as she pointed a hammer at Sam

"Kill the monster! And then the child!"

Everyone then rushed to kill Sam but Sam used his wings to blow everyone away before he yelled once again as he changed to his normal form while holding the <Thunder Striker>

"Stop this now! Or you will regret not accepting my mercy!"

Everyone looked at Sam in shock as they saw the fierce and blood thirsty Wyvern transform into a man before the woman on horseback said as the others got up from the ground

"Seems that ability has been used up! Attack!"

Sam held his blade firmly and waited before he released his anger and cut everyone besides the woman on the horse and the man and child who stood there and were overwhelmed by Sam's destruction before Sam sheathed his blade and said with an annoyed look on his face

"I told you all to stop your fighting but none of you listened so now you pay for your ignorance"

The woman looked at Sam and said as she her horse grew out some wings before Sam realized it was a Pegasus

"I'll make you regret this! Mark my words!"

However just as the Pegasus tried to fly away Sam grabbed one of its legs and slammed it into the ground and said as he place his foot on the Pegasus's neck while the woman was underneath the Pegasus

"Who are you?"

However the woman tried to use her hammer and hit Sam away before Sam grabbed the hammer and threw it into the forest before he put more pressure on his foot and said once again

"Who are you?"

The woman grunted before she looked at Sam as the man and child walked towards them

"Aria Gunter and you have just made an enemy of the Ares faction"

Sam stared at aria before he picked her up from under the Pegasus and said with a smile on his face

"Oh your from the Ares faction well that changes things"

The woman smiled in relief before Sam headbutt aria and threw her into a tree and said before he turned his attention to the man holding the child

"Tell Ares that his debt is settled"

Sam looked at the man and child before the man got on his knees and said as the child hid behind the man

"Please Sir Savour, spare this child"

Sam looked to the side and saw the child was covered in markings and unrecognizable Runes before he placed the blade of the man's neck and asked

"What did that woman from the Ares faction want with you and that child? And how did you detect my presence over such a great distance?"

However just as the man was about to speak he could hear a child's voice in his head saying as a series of memories that were not Sam's flashed by

"Please don't hurt him Sir Savour!"

Sam had never known such depths of pain as he felt as if he was split into millions of pieces before the voice and memories ceased as the man said to the child in a frightened manner

"Kobakchu that's enough! I told you not to use your gift! Stop before you harm the man!"

Once the pain and agony ceased Sam looked at the child and the man before he gave them both a cold and menacing glance as he said while having a firm grip on his sword

"What are you? Who are you?"

The man looked at Sam and said as he showed no resistance to fight back against Sam

"We came from inside the tower and we can't go home since Kobakchu here isn't at his full strength anymore since we have to open portals to avoid fighting with any of the monarch's forces while they hunt us"

Sam felt there was a reason why they we being hunted and said as he looked at the child

"If your being hunted by everyone in the world then what's to say that I don't kidnap you and see if there's a reward"

The child stepped up and said as he stood in front of Sam's blade

"It is against your nature, Sam Stone. You care for your friends and family and will do anything to protect them while you also protect the innocent"

Sam lowered his sword and took a step back as he said

"I never told you my name"

Kobakchu placed a hand on the man's shoulder as he looked at Sam and said while Sam put away his Katana

"I'm what the humans call a telepath and this is my grandfather who is my protector"

The man then took off his helmet to reveal his white hair and the many wrinkles on his face before he said as he stared at Sam with teary eyes

"Please don't take my grandson. I beg you"

Sam knew trouble would come if he helped them but his morals were fighting against leaving them alone before he asked the grandfather

"If you both are from the towers then why are you not in them? And why are you being attacked"

However Kobakchu and his grandfather remained silent still eventually the grandfather said

"The gods and deities can not harm anyone in the tower or in another gods realm but it does not stop them from hunting us since we're not in the tower but in the Middle Lands"

Sam wondered why the gods couldn't kill somebody in the tower before he said as he didn't want to involve himself with more problems

"I don't have all night so just go before i change my mind"

Just before Sam was about to fly off he felt a hand grab his shoulder before he looked at the grandfather and heard him say while his hand was on Sam's shoulder

"Please wait. I want to give you something for saving us"

Sam looked at the grandfather to see him take out a staff that looked oddly like a cane from a tinny tiny satchel and hand it to Sam as he said

"This was one of many weapons I used in my youth so I ask you to look after it with care"

Sam grabbed the staff and could feel it pulsing like it had a heart beat before he checked it's information

Just then Kobakchu ran up and jammed three of his fingers into Sam's stomach before his eyes glowed a bright neon blue and said one word before Sam felt his entire body heat up as if he was being boiled in a pot

Sam fought through the pain as he could barely see a few notifications arrive

As the pain slowly subsided Sam looked up and saw Kobakchu had feinted before he looked at the grandfather and asked

"Is he alright?"

After only a few moments the grandfather sighed in relief and said as Sam stood up from the ground

"He used the last of his energy to help you gain a Mana core for saving our lives so he just needs some rest but the sun is rising so we must go"

Sam looked up and saw the sun was rising before he grew his wings and was about to say his goodbyes but noticed both Kobakchu and his grandfather has disappeared before he went back to the hospital where he snuck back just in time before Mary woke up and saw Sam looking out the window before some hospital nurses came in with some trays with food on them as well as a cellphone on Sam's tray with a sticky note saying with a phone number on the bottom 'Call me at once -Chairman'

Sam then used the new phone and called the chairman and not even a moment later the chairman answered it and yelled as loud as he could

"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! I HAVE THE ENTIRE ARES FACTION AT MY HOUSE LOOKING FOR YOU!"

Sam grunted as he imagined this would happen after his encounter with them yesterday before he took a deep breath

"I'll explain later but what do they want?"

The chairmen looked out of his window to see stew Makavoid himself just outside of his gates with thousands of people behind him holding up banners asking for justice before he said as he closed the curtain

"I DON'T KNOW! YOU CUASED THIS PROBLEM SO YOU WILL GET OUT OF YOUR HOSPITAL BED AND HELP ME!"

Sam looked at Mary and said as He opened the window

"Can you fill out my discharge papers? I won't be long"

Mary got up and stretched before she nodded and walked out of the room while Sam once again jumped out of the window and transformed into the Wyvern and as he was flying over the city he could already hear the yelling and screaming before he started heading towards the noise

Meanwhile the chairmen took another glance out of his window and saw Stew had disappeared before he heard a pen click from his desk and saw Stew Makavoid sitting in his chair holding one of his pens before he got up and said as he looked around the room

"I assume your wondering why I'm here? Why I'm looking for the dragon Master himself?"

The chairmen couldn't bring himself to speak a word before he nodded up and down before stew suddenly looked out of the window as if he spotted something and said with a smile

"He's here"

However just as the chairmen was about to look out the window he felt a loud thud that shook the whole house before he looked outside and saw Sam in his Wyvern form and screamed in shock

"WHY IS THERE A WYVERN ON MY FRONT PORCH?!?!?!?!"

Anyone who didn't know of Sam's abilities would be shocked to see Sam but for Stew it would have been an interesting battle if Sam was a real wild Wyvern

Once Sam landed at the gates and quickly turned to normal before he saw the crowd was staring at him and was blocking his way before he slightly unsheathed his <Thunder Striker> and said while his eyes changed

"Clear a path or I'll make one myself"

Stew then opened the window and said as he looked at Sam's eyes and saw he was ready to kill his way into the house

"Let him pass, you all are dismissed!"

Sam lowered his blade as everyone started to leave before he made his way to the house where he met the chairmen at the front door before he grabbed Sam's shirt and said as Stew stood at the top of the steps behind him

"Just what have you gotten me into?! Just what did you do?!"

Sam ignored the chairmen as he continued his rant and looked at stew and noticed it wasn't stew who was watching but Ares himself as he said with an annoyed expression on his face

""Let's talk dragon master""

While they all sat in the living room sam was the first to speak saying as he laid a hand on his katana

"I apologize for killing some of your men but I gave them many chances to seize their fighting and leave but they did not. So if want to get even then I'll make sure you don't have it easy"

Ares who was in Stews body scoffed and said as he accepted some coffee from the shaking chairman

"You think I care about Little ants even if I'm not the one to crush them Ha. And as much as it would be entertaining to fight that's not I want."

Sam looked a little bit confused before he heard Ares say as he pull out a scroll

""You interfered with my hunt of those two exiles and you let them go""

Sam looked at the scroll for a moment but could feel a power energy within the scroll and said as he looked at Ares's face

"They called for help and I did that so I'm sorry if I stopped your hunt but from my eyes you send legions of your followers to kill a child and his grandfather because they were exiled"

The noise in the room turned dead silent for what seemed like hours before Ares Sighed and said as he looked at Sam with hateful eyes

""You know nothing little dragon and the next time you interfere I will come personally to teach you a lesson. but for now you can consider yourself warned""

Sam and the chairmen saw Ares disappear and heard stew say before he got up and left

"Tread carefully Sam Stone"

Once stew had left the chairmen loosened his tie and poured himself a glass of whiskey and said as he sat down

"Now Mr.Stone I want to know what happened to cause this mess to happen in my home"

Sam nodded in agreement as he felt the chairmen deserved to know what had happened and proceeded to explain the whole events without leaving anything out

Once the chairmen heard Sam's side of the story he looked at Sam for a moment before he opened the door for Sam and said as he looked upset with Sam

"Please leave my home while I process this matter carefully"

Sam frowned a little but he also expected this type of response from the chairman before he left soundly and went back to the hospital to pick up Mary and opened a gate to the great hall only to be tackled by everyone who were waiting as they all said in unison with smiles

"Master! You're back!"

Just then as he felt everyone jump on him and Mary he felt like he was truly home with his family as for Sam had made his family ever so larger
