CHAPTER 12

JAUNE ARC

Next Morning

He sat in the sidelines, practicing his forms and worked on his footing while Pyrrha put both Ruby and Weiss through the ringer in the Training room.

His own aura had been shattered by Pyrrha a short while ago so it wasn't like he was in any shape to fight.

It took her a while to do so but in the end, it was inevitable.

He might be just as strong as her on a purely physical basis and have a much larger aura pool but he was far less skilled when compared to someone who has been training since childhood.

But despite his efforts to pay attention to his own training, his eyes continued to go back to Ruby and Weiss struggling against Pyrrha who easily tore through their defenses with her sheer skill.

He knew that they won't stand a chance against her.

If they were Shroud bounded by him then maybe…

But till then they were no match for her. And it'll take them years to get to the point where they'll be a 6th tier. But by then Pyrrha would've become a 7th tier and the difference between them would've only increased even further.

But… he wasn't about to enslave them just because he wanted them to become powerful. He already felt a bit guilty about doing that to Pyrrha. And while she did technically forgive him afterwards, he felt that it didn't count.

And that was not even mentioning how strange it would look to others that all 3 girls of team ASPR suddenly fall in love with him.

His social talent allowed him to see that people were already paying attention to the fact that Pyrrha was acting so close to him.

Even the teachers were discreetly paying attention to the affection Pyrrha was showing him.

How would they react once they see that both Ruby and Weiss were also acting the same.

They would be suspicious.

No. Even if he had any plans to enslave both Ruby and Weiss, it would be foolish to do so right now.

If he was ever going to enslave someone then he would focus on the villains like Cinder, Neo or Emerald.

Problem was that Cinder was already a half maiden and both Neo and Emerald were talented fighters with very useful semblance. It would be hard to take them down. Even more so if he wanted to do it in a discreet manner.

But he did eventually plan on capturing and selling them.

And once he's strong enough and has a team of 7th tier waifus, he'll attack Salem and try to enslave her as well.

But… that was far in the future.

He shook his head and focused on his footsteps and form training once again.

He closed his eyes and tried to copy everything that Pyrrha had taught him.

With Martial talent, he only needed the proper instructions once and he'll be able to follow them without any difficulties.

But even as he tried to focus on his own training, he could hear and smell his three other team mates from across the room.

What's worse, he could sense them through his sixth sense, whatever it was. And the sense was clearer this time. More precise.

He decided to train this Sixth Sense alongside his own training so he kept his eyes closed and went through all his forms and footsteps while he continued to sense the three girls and their constantly changing positions.

Then Ruby's aura went below the Red line and she was disqualified from the fight after which, Pyrrha made short work of Weiss and sent her out of the ring as well.

He kept his eyes closed and continued with the training as he felt Pyrrha come near him and sit down on the floor while Ruby and Weiss did the same.

"Wow Pyrrha. You're really strong." Ruby said in childish wonderment "Like really really strong. In fact, I would say that you're almost as strong as my father and Uncle Qrow."

Pyrrha gave a nervous laugh "I'm not that strong Ruby. I might be strong but I still cannot be compared to veteran huntsmen."

She totally could.

"But… Uncle Qrow beats me and Yang just as easily as you beat me and Weiss?" Ruby said in a confused tone.

"Then your Uncle must be holding back a lot you dolt." Weiss said.

"Oh." Ruby said before she tapped her chin in contemplation "Hey Jaune."

He opened his eyes and paused in his footwork training before he turned to face her "Yes Ruby?"

"Can we get Yang and her team to join us in our training as well?" she asked. And… oh. So those were the vaunted puppy eyes of Ruby Rose.

She's so 'cute'.

He felt the urge to pull at her cheeks, pat her head and give her loads of cookies but shook it off.

Then he thought about her words for a bit.

Did he want Lie Ren and his team to join them?

The truth was… he had thought about this before but he wasn't sure if that would be a good thing or not.

If he mingled with only his team then he would eventually be able to master the two girls to love him with Faerie Feast and Sticky hands. After that his whole team would be made of his waifus and he would be freely be able to create a portal in the room and they would be able to go and train in the Pocket Dimension whenever they want.

But if he adds team LBVY then that breaks the dynamic he had been going for.

It wouldn't have been all bad if team LBVY was made of girls. But it had Lie Ren. Plus Nora. He might lust after Nora's huge tits but she loved Lie Ren and he wasn't going to change that just for his own convenience.

He also didn't like the Sacredly Cat Blake very much.

And while Yang had a body that he could ravish all day long, her irrational bursts of anger didn't endear her to him. In fact, he liked that girl just as much as he liked Weiss. Which wasn't a lot.

But they could also provide good back up.

Then again, with Pyrrha's new abilities, if they faced something that even she couldn't fight against then he doubted that team LBVY would be any help.

Still, they could be good friends at least. Right?

At least Ren and Nora would be good friends. And Yang would always care for her baby sister.

So… decisions.

"Ruby." He said carefully "I know that Pyrrha seems super strong. But she needs to train on her own as well and can't always spend her time training others."

"Ohh…" Ruby looked down and pouted.

…so adorable.

He really wanted to glomp the little tyke and pull at her cheeks right now.

"But… If team LBVY ask her to teach them then I'll allow Pyrrha the choice to do what she wants." He said and before Ruby could cheer, he held up a hand to stop her "With that said. I don't want you to go and tell your sister and her team to ask Pyrrha for training. If they want training then they would either start training on their own or ask us for help. But if they don't show any incentive then I'm not willing to help them either. We're the future hunters who'll fight to protect mankind. Not Charity Workers."

Ruby gave a quick nod.

He still wasn't sure if she won't try to leave some clues for Yang but that was alright.

If team LBVY really came to Pyrrha to ask for training then he'll allow Pyrrha to train them.

If she wants to teach them that is.
