Chapter 72: Battle on both sides 1

Vegeta didn't waste his time and starts attacking Gohan in full SSJ Blue power

*BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOOM*

With one after another fist clashing in the sky, on the ground, and all over the island, the whole sea around the island started trembling.

In raw power, both Vegeta and Gohan hold the same power but when it comes to experience and also utilizing their Ki in the most efficient manner- Vegeta wins by a huge margin and this can be seen in the current battle

*BANG*

"PHUAAA"

Vegeta lands a punch as he blocks Gohan's attack and that one punch sends Gohan crashing into a huge mountain.

"Just how are you so strong Vegeta San, when we both have the same po-"

*KICK*

Vegeta is not here for a talk, but rather he wants to see if this is the final power level of Gohan or if he can surpass everyone else and make a path that is not directed by the creator of this world

Thus, Vegeta didn't let Gohan finish his question and landed a kick on his stomach.

With the mountain being destroyed by that kick and Gohan being sent crashing to the ground, the whole place is now covered with dust from the destroyed mountain

Just when Gohan thought that he can have a few seconds of rest, one after another Ki Balls came straight after him.

Vegeta rapid fires a barrage of Ki from both of his hands, Energy Bullet/ Lucora Gun, at Gohan before the dust could even fade away

*BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM*

One after another explosion takes place on the ground, but just like a machine gun, Vegeta kept on attacking without taking a single breath

The current Vegeta has literally an unlimited amount of Ki and stamina, so he can continue forever and ever until he decides to pull it off.

Suddenly

*WHOOSH*

"HAAAA!!!"

Just when Vegeta thought that this is more than enough, Gohan appears from the front of his barrage of Ki attacks, throwing a fist at Vegeta

but

"What a fool to think that you can attack me from the front!"

*grab*

Vegeta ends his Ki attack and grabs Gohan's wrist and turns around to throw him but at the very same time

*Gods Step*

*SWISH*

Vegeta used his skill, Gods Step to move from up in the air to near the ground and slams Gohan on his back first on the ground

*BOOOM*

"PHUAAA!"

"YOU THINK THAT YOU CAN BEAT ME WITH JUST THAT MUCH POWER LEVEL?!!"

*Gods Step*

*BOOOM*

"KHAAAA"

"SHOW ME!!!

SHOW ME THE POWER YOU HOLD INSIDE YOU!!"

*Gods Step*

Vegeta showed no mercy, he kept on using his Gods Step to take Gohan here and there while he kept his grip on Gohan's wrist and threw Gohan here and there like a ragdoll

And finally, Vegeta stops after throwing Gohan on another large mountain.

*BOOOM*

*CRUMBLE*

As Vegeta sees the mountain crumbling like a sand castle and Gohan getting buried alive, he questions himself

'is this it?

Did I overestimate him?

Were my instincts wrong?

Is he not gonna evolve further like Raditz and Nappa?

But why?

Vegeta asks as he looks at the place where Gohan is buried alive

"I guess my beating didn't go waste…" Vegeta speaks in a confused manner

A hand appears from the debris of crumbled mountain and it sure belongs to Gohan but something is different

The right hand that has appeared on the surface is covered in Turquoise (it's like teal blue and green mixed, you can google it) colored Ki

And so Gohan appears from derbis, completely covered in a new form of Ki and an aura that belongs to

A BEAST

On another side-

Both Basil and Piccolo clashed their fist and as they ran around the whole podium at the highest seed possible

*SWISH SWISH SWISH SWISH SWISH*

In a blink there appeared at the corner of the ring and then they appeared at another corner and then they appeared in the air as they clashed against each other.

Both of them are showing amazing speed and strength as they both managed to block and also attack each other skills.

Both fighters stopped their fight and landed at a distance and looked at each other.

"hehe"

Piccolo gave a smirk to Basil and this made Basil angry

'Just how in the world is this guy still not out of breath when he should be at the same power level as me?' Basil asked the question as he looks at Piccolo who is completely normal as compared to him who is out of his breath.

From above, the supreme kai of Universe 9 shouts at Bails

"OYE BASIL!!

DON'T YOU DARE LOSE THIS MATCH!!!"

"I KNOW THAT!

You don't have to tell this… grrr"

Bail knows how important this match is for him and his brothers so he doesn't want to lose the battle but after that physical power clash, it's clear that Piccolo holds higher ground in physical strength

Piccolo's mocking enraged Basil and he charges a giant Ki above his hand and then releases a Ki canon attack at Piccolo

Goku and Tien warn Piccolo but Piccolo, who is standing in front of the attack gives a smirk

"HAHAHAHAHAA

That's what you get for underestimating me HAHAHAA"

Basil laughs in the direction where a huge dust has gathered due to his attack and both Supreme Kai and the god of destruction from universe 9 started mocking Beerus

And Beerus is now angry at Goku for not choosing a reliable team member, but at this, Goku tells Beerus to calm down as the battle is yet to be over

"Is this all you had?"

"WHAT?!"

Basil, his two brothers, and everyone else are shocked to hear the voice of Piccolo whom they thought dead is alive.

*WHOOSH*

With dust clearing away, everyone can see the current scene and the scene shocked everyone

"what is that?" Basil asks as he looks at the thorns/ roots, appearing out of nowhere and making a cocoon-like shape in the middle of the ring

The front portion of the roots started going back to the ground and so appears Piccolo to everyone else

"HOW?"

Basil asks in shock and Piccolo gave a smirk Basil'

"How?

Simple, I am stronger than you"

Basil grinds his teeth at his situation, he thought that he had Piccolo with that attack but he was completely wrong

And seeing how Piccolo is still all calm, it's clear that Piccolo has yet to go serious in this battle and this made him rage more

One more time, the Supreme Kai of his universe shouts at him and this time, Basil asks for a thing which he got it from Supreme Kai

After eating that red jelly thing, Basil's body buffs up and his power level also rose a lot

"HAHAHHAHAAAA

Now, you are done for good"

Piccolo gave a smirk again as the other portion of roots behind him starts disappearing

"YOU!!!!"

*SWISH*

"I will kill you!" Basil shouts as he throws a fist at Piccolo's face

The Supreme Kai of Universe 9 and Basil's brother are smiling as they are thinking that this is it for Piccolo BUT

*GRAB*

*BWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*

A big wave of wind is blown everywhere as Piccolo grabs Basil's fist near his face.

Everyone is shocked, except for Universe 7

"for a second I thought that you have become stronger than before, which is true, but I was completely wrong to believe that you could give me some exercise

Basil throws saliva from his mouth, that punch from Piccolo on his guts almost made his eyes pop out of its socket.

Basil is sent flying to the edge of the ring; he was almost out but he barely manages to hold himself onto the ring

Piccolo gave an evil smile as he points his right hand in Basil's direction while roots from the ground one more time appeared by the side of Piccolo and they all were aimed in the direction of Piccolo's hand, and then Piccolo told Basil

"This is it for you"

*BWOOOSH*
