73 Chapter 73:  Battle on both sides 2/2

The first match is won by Piccolo from Universe 7 effortlessly and seeing how strong Piccolo has gotten over the time since he last fought or seen him fighting, Goku starts thinking about a battle with Piccolo

At Piccolo's victory, Zeno's remarks that he was expecting more from the battle so that it would be more enjoyable when the final tournament will take place, but the fighter from Universe 9 lost so fast that Zeno's couldn't really enjoy the battle.

This remark made everyone from Universe 9 shake in fear

Zeno even asks if universe 9 is so much weak, then why not remove them from the tournament?

And this suggestion sent a chill to every single present at the place as Zeno's is talking about removing a universe as if he is talking about having some cola

Supreme Kai Roh and the God of Destruction Sidha, from universe 9, begged to show some mercy and even promised to show great battle in the future but Zeno's expression is not looking like he wants to show mercy

Grand Priest Daishinkan replies to his lord, "My Lord, it is not like Universe 9 is weak, it's just that universe 7 is way stronger than universe 9 that's all

If universe 9 is compared with other universes, then yes, they do hold their ground well but against Universe 7, it will be tough."

Hearing the Grand Priests answer, Zeno's decides to not remove universe 9 from its existence and so the battle continues

The next battle is between Tien and Lavender (the poison guy)

"Good Luck Tien-

By the way, why is your 3rd eye still closed?"

Goku gave his good wishes to Tien for his battle, but for a long time since Goku met Tien, he noticed that Tien is not opening his third eye which he usually does

And finally, just before the battle, he asks him if he is facing a problem or why has he been keeping his 3rd eye closed for so long.

At this, Tien replies-

Goku nods and starts cursing Vegeta in his own comical way for not teaching him any special skill but everyone else is getting a new skill from him.

And so, he jumps from his observation deck to the podium

Supreme Kai Roh warns Lavender to not sully their universe name and then both, Lavender and Tien looked at each other in silence

Tien still has not opened his 3rd eye.

With the Grand Priest's command, the 2nd battle between Universe 9 and 7 begins

Just like in the original timeline when Gohan fought against Lavender, all the moves of Tien are the same as Gohan in the original timeline and Lavender manages to use poison on Tien to render him from not seeing further

Tien makes some distance and then tries to open his eyes but he couldn't due to a burning sensation.

Beerus got angry at such underhand tactics but there is nothing much he can do as Zeno's is allowing it but Goku and Piccolo are not much troubled after seeing Tien's poisoned eyes as Tien still has his 3rd eye.

'Damn IT!

I can't open my eyes, do I have to fight like this?

I should open my 3rd eye, but then again, the headache I will receive from using my abilities will be really high.

But at least it is worth it as the whole universe is on the line' Tien speaks in his mind

Goku calls out to Tien and tells him to show his true power by opening his last eye and finally Tien opens his 3rd eye which had made many curious

The moment Tien opens his 3rd eye and looks at Lavender, a short chill air ran through his spine as if has made some big mistake.

"LAVENDER!!!

Don't just stand still!! ATTACK!" Supreme Kai Roh again shouts at Lavender

Lavender takes a deep breath, calms himself, and then with an evil smile he attacks

BUT

"?!!!!"

Everyone, just everyone had their eyes go wide from seeing that short moment of close-distance combat as to why

Because no matter what type of attack Lavender threw at Tien, all of them were blocked which also included his poison skill

Not only that, when Lavender thought about attacking from behind, Tien long turned around to block the bask side attack as if he knows what Lavender is thinking not only that

A few moves of Lavender that are only unique to him, like his kicking style and other styles, all of them were performed by Tien as if he is Lavender or he knows how to perform those skills

Lavender's mind completely stopped working for a second from that close fight with Tien and he, with his brothers and other people watching it, is confused

"Is he also from Universe 9?"

Lavender stops attacking, he falls on his butt due to the shock from seeing how Tien is able to dodge all of his attacks

But the big thing was yet to come

After the dust fades away, Lavender could be seen flat on the ground and he is somehow holding onto his life barely

"How… just how were you able to perform my skills and dodge those hundreds of Ki bullets?" Lavender asks Tien

Tien looks at the fallen Lavender, thinking about his question as his last request before falling unconscious, he answers "It's because of my 3rd eye

My 3rd eye allows me to see just everything, no matter how fast one attacks or moves-

My 3rd eye can catch it, and not only that- But it can also predict someone's movement and also if they are lying or not.

As for how I copied your skills, it's because of this eye only

Once I see any skill, it gets imprinted on my mind and I can use them as my own"

No one, just no one had thought about a skill or an eye-based skill that allows its user to predict enemies' next movement

It was already absurd and then when Tien told about copying another person's skill by just seeing once, it just literally made no sense and they all are speechless.

As for Goku, he is having his jaw drops to the ground and even Beerus is shocked.

Goku and Beerus had seen Tien and Piccolo before but they both were never such strong people and neither they had such skills

But today…. These two have become the star of the show without breaking any sweat

At Vegeta's side-

Gohan pulls himself up from the debris and stood in silence

Vegeta is completely speechless right now from seeing how strong Gohan in this new form.

This new form is none other than the Beast Gohan form, where Gohan has grayish hair color and red eyes, but as compared to the translucent aura in the original Beast Gohan form

This new form has a turquoise color and not only that, the air Gohan is giving belongs to a pure animal

The roar from Gohan sent another chill air through Vegeta's spine because just a second ago, Gohan didn't hold much power level as compared to his SSJ Majestic form

But after the roar, Gohan has completely surpassed Vegeta by a huge margin
