Into One Piece Chapter – 8 No Man's Land

Xavier: {"Close Status. Hmm… I better figure out where I am."}

Xavier starts to use his Observation Haki along with his Dragon sense.

A grid forms in his mind along with all the details.

Xavier: {"All I can sense are trees and animals, I can't sense anything else. Better start moving around. I can fight strong one's to test out my strength. I need to figure out how much my body has evolved."}

Xavier starts to move forward until he senses a monster that can handle him in strength.

Xavier: {"Wow it's huge in size. What is this monster. It looks like a Lion and a snake of the size of three-to-four elephants."}

The lion noticed a fresh meat and started to attack Xavier.

Xavier dodges and punches the lion with his hands coated in Armament Haki.

The lion roars in pain due to the impact. Then it swipes its tail to attack him.

Xavier blocks the attack, but is sent flying as he can't handle the sheer force of the attack.

Xavier breaks four trees before he comes to stop.

Xavier: {"Hmm… I am not damaged a lot. It seems by body strength has increased as well. Better stop using my Strength Manipulation to control my Dragon Strength and check again."}

The lion dashes towards Xavier, Xavier uses his hands to stop the lion.

Xavier moves 20 steps back crashing on a tree and comes to stop and now punches the lion right at its face.

The lion is sent flying back as it destroys the trees behind it.

Before the lion could get up, Xavier jumps and coats his hands in Haki and punches right at its stomach creating a hole and releases a dark red flame burning its inside slowly.

The lion lets out a wail and slowly stops moving.

Xavier: {"It seems my body strength is high with Dragon Strength. Defense, speed and attack has all increased. I need to get used to this. Better to find more and fight."}

A few days go by as Xavier searches for monsters to fight, to test his strength out. For food he eats the monsters that he kills.

Xavier: {"Shall I try fighting sea kings next?"}

Xavier then senses some one in his range and starts to move towards them.

There he saw five women fighting against an elephant-monster with height of around 30ft and length close to 80ft.

Xavier: {"Should I help them? They seem like they can handle this."}

In a few minutes they kill the monster.

Xavier comes out of his hiding place and walks towards them. When he was about to say something, an arrow comes right at him.

Xavier caches the arrow and looks at them and says:

Xavier: "That's not how you welcome someone who was about to ask what island this is?"

Saida 1: "Who are you? What are you doing here?"

Xavier: {"Well this is not a world where they are going to introduce themselves before asking for the other person's name."}

Xavier: "I am someone who has been in this island for the past 7 years, so it should be me asking who you all are."

They gasp when they heard him say he has been in this island for 7 years.

Saida: "What do you mean man? This is Amazon Lily, no man is allowed to be on this island."

Soraya: "How can you even be here for 7 years? We always hunt here, we have never seen you in this part of the island. Don't lie to us."

Xavier: {"Oh Shit. Amazon Lily for God sakes. Why can't it be some other island?"}

Xavier: "I have been healing in a cave in that direction and came out of it few days ago, that's why you haven't noticed me."

Soraya: "What do you mean by healing?"

Xavier: "That is not something I can say to you."

Saida: "Then you give us no choice."

Saida launches the arrow she has been holding in her bow.

Xavier caches the arrow and throws it towards her again. Before Xavier can calm down, Soraya is in front of him bringing down her sword.

Xavier holds the sword that is near his head and melts it using his Dragon Flame in a second.

Another arrow comes from another woman.

Xavier catches the arrow and uses that to pierce Soraya's feet.

Soraya yells in pain.

Xavier knocks her out by hitting her neck.

Xavier then releases a breath towards the woman who just shot the arrow.

Yasmeen dodges it and says: "He is a devil fruit user of flame type I think."

Elfrida: "Yasmeen go now and notify the guards quickly; we will hold him till then."

Yasmeen: "Alright, be careful."

Saida then releases a barrage of arrow.

Xavier: {"Damn. She is a devil fruit user. A fruit that can multiply ah. She did not use this attack when she was fighting the monster."}

Xavier coats himself with a small dome of Dark red flame around him.

The arrows melt before it reaches him.

The 5th women throw her spear right at him, which launches like a rocket towards him.

Xavier immediately uses Partial transformation and armament Haki at his leg, but then to it pierces his leg.

Xavier: {"Damn, what the heck was that speed, thank god I was able to do it quickly."}

Xavier: "That hurt, lady."

Xavier removes the spear from his leg.

Xavier: {"Hmm… better get myself a spear."}

Xavier launches the spear right at her and the next moment he holds his right hand to catch another arrow that was directed at him.

Anora dodges the spear coming towards her direction, but it graces her arm, taking a flesh out with it. She holds her arm due to the pain she felt. Before she realizes an arrow comes right at her again and it lodges into her leg and she screams in pain.

Xavier: {"That's two down."}

Saida: "Anora!!"

Xavier uses this chance and uses Dragon Rush and attacks Saida in her stomach she is sent flying.

Elfrida rushes towards Xavier ready to punch him.

Xavier turns back and holds her fist coming right at him.

Xavier: "You guys started this."

Xavier coats his arm in Armament Haki knocks her out with a punch.

Saida coughs out blood and says: "Stop. Don't hit her again. She will die."

Xavier: "I know when to stop lady. It was you who started it, not me. Just be happy I didn't want to start a conflict with your people or you will be dead already."

Saida is visibly scared by that statement as she can tell now that he did not even use his full strength. She can even see his leg has healed as if no injury occurred, if not for the cloth that had been tourn.

Xavier: {"Hmm… More are coming. It seems I have to fight all of them."}

Xavier stops thinking when he can sense two people in the group have turn into snakes.

Xavier: {Oh god, that's Marigold and Sandersonia if I am not wrong. I don't think I can win against them.}

Xavier transforms his whole body to that of Dragon scales, a tail also grew out of his back.

Xavier: {"Can't I have peace for just few days."}

Xavier waits for their arrival as he brings the 4 girls and knocks out all of them and tie them up with the vines quickly.

Xavier: {"Now I can either reason with them, or I can only fight my way out. Reasoning with them might not be possible due to the state these four are in. They also know Haki and can coat their weapons as well. This is going to be difficult. I can only hope they can wait and hear me out, instead of directly attacking me."}

Marigold and Sandersonia reaches towards the battle area in a few minutes and see their sisters tied up and the man standing near them.

Marigold: "Better let them go man."

Sandersonia: "Listen to her, if you don't want to die."

Xavier: "I could have killed them if I wanted to and you clearly know that. I tied them up because I did not want any conflict with you, as you people are the ones I have seen after a long sleep."

Marigold: "What do you want?"

Xavier: "I just want to know where I am, and if possible, can I stay here for a few days as I have no means to transport to go from here."

Sandersonia: "Before that, my sister (meaning Yasmeen) told me you have been on this island for 7 years is that true?"

Xavier: "Yes. I was hibernating… it's a long story something I don't want to share. As all I have are bad memories."

Marigold: "If you won't say, then we also have no choice."

Xavier: {"I don't want to fight with them and they won't let me until I say why I was here."}

Xavier: "Okay wait. All I can tell you is that my Devil Fruit did that to me. I was in a cocoon for the last 7 years and broke out of it a few days back alright. I don't want to fight you guys, all I ask is for a ship to go from here, is that possible?"

Sandersonia: "A devil fruit forcing its user to sleep?"

Xavier: "Yes. You can take them; I am not going to fight."

Before Xavier can remove the vines, he hears a cold voice,

Hancock: "Don't you dare touch them."

Xavier: {"God, now she is also here."}

Xavier looks towards the direction of the voice and he can see a lot of women moving towards here wearing some kind of armors and weapons with them and in the center is a drop-dead beauty with a snake coiled around her neck and near her is old women with a stick.

Hancock: "Move away from them if you don't want to die."

Xavier: {"She is not someone I can fight right now."}

Xavier walks a distance away from them all.

A few of them came forward and took the tied-up women and started to move back.

Hancock: "Now how do you want to die, man?"

Before Hancock was about to attack, Marigold and Sandersonia stops her.

Hancock: "What is it?"

Marigold: "He did not kill them, at least we can listen to him."

Hancock: "You want to listen to a man? Did you forget what happened to us?"

Sandersonia: "No, we did not."

Elder Nyon: "Stop. I can understand why you feel that way Hancock, but like Marigold said he did not kill them, if he wanted to, he could have."

Elder Nyon: "What were you both talking to him?"

Marigold and Sandersonia proceed to tell what happened a few mins before they arrived.

Elder Nyon: "Listen kid, this is an island for women, no men are allowed in here. You can either tell us how you came here so we can let you stay here for a few days or you can leave this second."

Xavier: {"They consider me a devil fruit user. How am I supposed to leave without a ship?"}

Xavier: "Can you provide a means of transport for me?"

Hancock: "You can tie a few trees here and use that to get off this island."

Elder Nyon puts her hand on her forehead.

Elder Nyon: "It will take a day for us to give you a small ship. You can stay here until then."

Hancock turns towards Elder Nyon: "Why are you being like this? This is not an island for men."

Xavier: "I don't know what happened to you lady, but because of one man don't judge everyone to be the same."

Hancock has a disgust look on her face and says in a cold voice: "What do you know? Just Shut your mouth."

For some reason, Xavier gets angry, his eyes turn black and purple light comes from within and releases his Conqueror's Haki along with this Dragon Might.

Xavier said in a monstrous tone: "LADY! BE CAREFUL OF WHAT YOU SAY!!!!"

Hancock, Elder Nyon, Marigold, Sandersonia and others who are there feel a wave of pressure and dread coming out from Xavier.

They felt that if they attack now, for some reason, they felt they would die today.

Few seconds later, Xavier controls himself and they felt the pressure go.

Without realizing some of them have already fainted and some sweating with a scared expression in their faces.

Elder Nyon, Hancock and her sisters are shocked at what just happened.

Elder Nyon: "Conqueror's Haki. Kid, what's your name?"

Xavier: "Xavier."

Elder Nyon: "Hmm… We will give you a ship tomorrow, until then stay here."

Xavier looks at Hancock and says: "I don't know why you hate Men, but do know this I am not like the ones you hate. I have gone through torture and many more since the day I was born, because of some people, but I don't hold a grudge against all of them." (Yash_Gadhavi , I know this one was cringe, I just had to let him leave an impression on her.)

After this they start to go back with Elder Nyon again saying they will give him a ship.

The Next day

Hancock, Elder Nyon and her sisters along with a few others go meet Xavier and take him towards the ship.

Once they reach,

Elder Nyon: "This is the ship. Take the log pose, it will point towards nearby islands."

Xavier: "So this is a log pose, first time seeing this."

For a few seconds there was a silence before one of the women he battled asked,

Elfrida: "You haven't seen a log pose?"

Xavier: "No, like I told you yesterday, all my Life I have been tortured and experimented on, I have not seen many things in this world."

Elder Nyon: "What's your age Xavier?"

Xavier: "Hmm… I don't exactly know; I should be 22 I think."

Marigold: "What do you mean by you think?"

Xavier: "I don't know when I was born, that's why I told you 22, I think. Well anyway I better get going, do know that even if it was only during the fight and the talk I had a great company, Thank you for that."

Xavier bows towards them and after that gets into the ship, before he departs, he asks,

Xavier: "Any good island out there?"

This time it was Hancock who answered not to him but telling a guard:

Hancock: "Give him the log pose for Sabaody Archipelago."

Elder Nyon and others were shocked at her words.

One guard throws another log pose to Xavier.

Xavier: "I believe this is good island, then. Thank you all."

Xavier sets sail.

Xavier: {"I did not expect her to do that. Well, it seems this world wants me to meet my grandpa."}
