Into One Piece Chapter – 8 No Man's Land

Xavier: {"Now that's done, I need to figure out where I am."}

Xavier starts to move going through the forest.

Xavier: {"Well this is a good place to test my strength and consolidate it."}

Xavier cracks his hands and punches right at the tree and whole is formed, sending out shockwaves from it.

Xavier: {"My Body strength alone has increased a lot."} he starts to run in the forward direction, jumping if any obstacles come at his path or just rushing through them.

He gets small bruises which heals in no time.

Xavier: {"Healing speed also has increased. I need to search for a monster out here, I have to try fighting it."}

Xavier starts using his Observation Haki to sense any monster is in his surroundings, he senses a lot of them, he discards the weak ones and finally he senses a one that he can fight to consolidate his strength.

The moment Xavier reaches the Monster, he looks at the gigantic animal that has the features of a lion and a snake.

Xavier uses Dragon rush to move quickly towards the monster and cloaks his hands in Armament Haki and punches right at its legs.

The monster senses the human and also start to attack him.

Xavier dodges the attack and then punches right at the stomach of the lion.

The monster lets out a groan, its eyes turn red and madly uses its tail to attack.

Xavier uses Partial Transformation in his hand and blocks the attack he is moved three steps back and then Xavier coats his Haki on to his transformed hand and holds the tail and rips it right out of the monster.

Lion: "Roaaarrrrrrrr" it yells in pain

Xavier then moves towards the head of the lion and directly pierces it and sends out a flame to kill it.

Xavier: {"Hmm… my body strength still can't withstand that tail attack. I require my Partial Transformation to defend that attack."}

For the next two days Xavier roams around the forest fighting any kind of monster, using different techniques.

Xavier on the third day, when he was deciding to go into the sea to fight against a sea king, sees a ship coming towards the Island.

Xavier: {"A ship, it's not moving towards this direction its going in another way to enter the island."}

Xavier uses Dragon Gaze (Description below) to look at the ship and is stunned.

Xavier: {"Damn, that's Kuja Pirates Flag, I am in No Man's Land."}

Kuja Pirates Ship

Hancock: "How much more time to reach?"

Elder Nyon: "We will be there in few minutes."

Hancock was about to ask another question when she felt someone watching her, no her ship and instinctively turns towards the direction and gets up from seat.

Elder Nyon and others look at their Empress and when she was about to question on what happened, she hears

Hancock: "Go towards the forest."

Nyon: "Why?"

Hancock: "I can feel someone looking right at us, and it's a man."

Nyon gasps and says: "That's not possible, is it someone we know?"

Hancock: "No."

Nyon: "Shall we attack towards the island."

Hancock: "That's not needed. I don't feel any intent that wants to harm us."

Nyon then orders to move towards the forest.

Xavier: {"Hmm… she sensed me. Damn what a scary perception she has. Oh, they started to move towards the forest now, well now I don't need to fly over. Shall I act like I know them or should I act like I don't? Better act like I don't know them. Basically, I should know nothing about them. All that has happened to me was torture and escape and no information about anything else.}"

The ships reach the forest and a woman jumps out form it.

Woman 1: "Man, what are you doing here?"

Xavier: "I have no idea either, all I know is that 3 days back I woke up in this forest and just when I was planning to take a bath in the sea I saw a ship. Who are you?"

Woman 1 is startled when asked about who they are.

Woman 1: "We are the Kuja Pirates, this is our home Amazon Lily and this where we reside with our Empress Boa Hancock."

Xavier: "Kuja Pirates? This is your island; oh, I am sorry for intruding then. Is it possible for me to stay here for a few days? I have no idea on where I am." asks by scratching his head with an innocent smile on his face.

Hancock, Nyon and her sisters and all the others aboard on the ship is confused at the man. How come he does not know about us? He doesn't know anything?

Woman 1 was unable to react and answer.

Nyon: "Kid this place is only for women; no man is allowed to be in this island."

Xavier: "Oh, I am sorry, really sorry, I did not know. All I know was waking up here."

Nyon: "Kid, you really don't know about Kuja Pirates."

Xavier: "No…? This is the first time I am hearing about Kuja Pirates; I know there is Marines and Pirates and all."

Xavier: {"Hmm… they won't let me be until I say how I came here. From the way they look like, Hancock is already one of the Seven Warlords that's for sure, if I say I destroyed a island by transforming into a dragon, who knows she might even call the marines to take me. But if I start by telling everything, she might take pity on me and let me stay on the island."}

Nyon: "How is that even possible? Kid did you lose your memories?"

Xavier: "No."

Xavier face wraps in anger, even if he doesn't realize it.

They all are stunned and go to battle positions, thinking Xavier is going to attack.

Xavier: "All the experiments, the torture for all those years is not something I can forget. I was just a baby, the moment I became 1, the experiments they did on me, the pain I felt, the torture they started when I turned 2 till the age of 8, for 7 years all that pain I felt is not something I will forget."

Xavier releases his Conqueror's Haki and continues

Xavier: "Those memories are not something I will ever forget. I will repay them a million times more."

Xavier's Conquerors Haki burst out, knocking the weak-willed pirates and some struggling to stand under the pressure. Elder Nyon, Hancock and her sisters are the only ones standing and easily with standing the pressure, but they also are shocked by him.

Elder Nyon: "Conqueror's Haki. Kid, if what you say is the truth, how did you escape that place?"

Xavier: "I started to come up with a plan, when I was five to escape from there. For another three years, I patiently waited, all the time collecting any information and came up with a good plan to escape."

Xavier: "I had to fight all of them, so it took me three years to train myself. And then one day I decided to act, with a do or die notion."

Xavier: "I started to fight, crush my way through, kill those guards who ever stopped me. But Ubel was not something I could handle."

Hancock realizes the name and asks "Ubel"?

Xavier: "Yes, I knew his name only when we fought, until then I was calling him Red. To think Marines the one who go around calling themselves Justice, those are nothing but lies. The Marines are the ones who tortured me. Great right? They are supposed to protect people, never knew they would torture children."

Nyon: "How did you escape him?"

Xavier: "From your tone, you know him, don't you? or you recognize his name."

Xavier continues without waiting for a reply,

Xavier: "I fought him, his subordinate, if I remember correctly his name was Brennan. I fought both of them, I knocked of Brennan and Ubel, but I lost all my strength after that."

Xavier: "Ubel was still able to get himself up, he rushed and stabbed me through my chest. After that all I remember was feeling pure hatred, that I couldn't kill him and escape. The last thing I know is me blacked out and waking up here three days back."

Nyon and Hancock easily realize that he was the reason that island disappear, the dragon was him, he was what the marines where also searching for. Hancock was conflicted as he was also someone who went through the same pain that she went, but on different scale and matters.

Xavier doesn't interrupt them.

Hancock: "You can stay on this island, but you will have to be in this forest and not enter our land. After two days we will give you ship and a log pose and using that log pose you can navigate to other islands."

Xavier: "Fair enough. I am not supposed to even enter this place according to your rules, and you helping me out right now is something I will never forget. I owe you one."

Nyon: "Do you have a name, kid? I don't want to keep calling you kid."

Xavier: {"Hmm… should I tell my full name or only Xavier. If I tell my full name they might even help me, in meeting Rayleigh. But do I want Rayleigh to know he has a grandson when he does not even know he had a son. I can ask a map from them and ask how to get to Water 7, I will decide whether I want him to know or not."}

Xavier: "Yea I do have a name. My name is… Xavier."

Nyon: "Xavier, for the next two days we will provide you with food and other necessities you might need and don't go jumping in the water for a bath now, you will drown since you have eaten a Devil Fruit. Devil fruit users gets the Curse of the Sea along with it, basically all Devil fruit users who enters water will lose their strength and powers and will drown to death. It is a miracle that you haven't yet did that."

Xavier acts surprised and spoke

Xavier: "Thanks, I do have some knowledge regarding it as well. What's your name?" he asks Hancock.

Hancock: "Hancock."

Xavier: "Nice name. Thanks for your help Hancock and Elder Nyon and others. Sorry for knocking them out."

Nyon: "Once you leave the island, don't go around saying the story you told us. There are people looking for you."

Xavier: "Thanks for the info. Can you teach me about Haki, from the way I see it you guys know a lot about it as you can withstand the pressure I sent out or suggest a person that I can go and learn from?"

Hancock: "We will send you to Sabaody Archipelago, got to Shakky's Rip-Off Bar in the 13th area and give this to him."

Xavier takes the card that Hancock gave him.

Xavier: "Okay. What's that 13th area? Is that Island divided into sectors or something?"

Hancock: "Yes, it is divided into 79 areas."

Nyon: "You want Xavier to meet him?"

Hancock: "Yes."

Nyon is shocked by Hancock suggesting to let Xavier meet Rayleigh.

Hancock: "Xavier, the man you're going to meet is someone who once helped us and you can tell what happened to you to him. He will help you."

Xavier: "Hmm… Okay, thanks."

After they board the ship went, Elder Nyon asks the question

Elder Nyon:"You gave him the card, Why?"

Hancock: "He resembles him. Can't you see that?"

Elder Nyon takes some time and says

Elder Nyon: "Yes, he does resemble him a bit, though not much. You think he is some one related to him?"

Hancock: "I don't know, maybe. We will know soon, once he reaches there."

In the next two days they teach Xavier on how to navigate a ship. Xavier got the chance to talk to Hancock and her sisters as well and the others who came to provide food. Though they kept touching him and asking about what is being a man is like and more details. They also let him know that it has been 7 years since that incident took place. He acts shocked when he hears that 7 years has passed. Xavier also talks about the cocoon and how he was being healed by it.

After two days, they provide a ship and log-pose for Xavier.

Marigold: "It will take around two weeks if you don't stop in any islands to reach Sabaody. There is a den-den mushi in there as well contact us if you need anything."

Xavier: "Thank you all, these two days are one of the happiest days I ever had in my life. Don't forget me all right, if you need any help let me know."

At the end, Xavier walks to Hancock and bows.

Xavier: "Thank you."

Hancock was shocked by what he did. Most of the men she knew only looked at her in lust, never had she known anyone to bow to her. She doesn't know what to do. She starts to think about the two days when she came to check on him, the talks and laughter they shared.

Hancock proceeds to lift him up and says: "You are someone who went through something the same as me. Good luck out there. If you need a place to rest, you can always come here. Who knows maybe next time I will let you in?"

The others are shocked by what she did and spoke.

Xavier: "Well I will count on that then. Thank you."

Xavier enters the ship and starts to set sail, he comes out and says "I will come and meet you guys whenever I can."

The sisters in the island wave at him, each saying something.

Xavier: {"These really were two days I will never forget. To think I can laugh like that. Hancock doesn't act the way she acted when Luffy was with her. It seems somethings can never change."}

But what Xavier doesn't know is that, somethings change and has no idea what he is in for.
