Dominic had Kyle retracing their path so far that he almost wondered if they were going to drive all the way back to the courthouse and march up to Dominic's office.

As they approached the outskirts of the city, Kyle was finally instructed to turn off the highway. The shadows were starting to grow long as the sun dipped towards the horizon behind them. Backtracking like this would also have made it pretty damn obvious if they were being followed. The Russians had obviously tailed Andrea to the police precinct instead of staying on him at the courthouse; he'd seen no sign of them coming or going since leaving with Dominic.
