His father gave her another chance in life

Ling felt relaxed at Mingyu's apartment. The apartment is located on the top floor. It has four bedroom including one huge matter bedroom. After Ling went around the house with the caretaker Shi Gong. She sat at the swing at the private terrace attached to the master bedroom.

The swing is really big like a bed, however it was moving swiftly with ease. Ling was extremely happy with the new found joy. The movement of the swing, the light breeze and medications she took after having good made her feel drowsy. She feel in to sleep like baby in the swing. Caretaker Shi Gong came to check on her found her sleeping. She covered Ling with the light comforter, so that she doesn't catch cold.

Caretaker Shi Gong was surprised with Ling's behavior. Since if a beautiful young girl like gets a chance to enter Masters private apartment like this, they usually tried to take advantage and seduce the man. But this girl didn't even trouble him once. Even when Shi Gong asked Ling

"Ms. Ling, Do you want to visit the Young Master Shen Study room if you are bored, I can take you there?"

Gao Liang on the other end was very restless after seeing Gao Ling. He couldn't concentrate on anything. He didn't go for work and chose to stay at home since he felt messed up in his head. He was sitting on the large sofa staring at huge French glass window. Surprised to see her Son at home, Mother Gao went closer to Son and asked him

"Liang dear, Why are you at home, aren't you supposed to be at work today"

"So what does Mother and Son duo chatting about. By the way, Son I heard you had asked for a holiday from work. This is the first time, is everything okay at your end. You seem to be distracted"

Liang thought nothing can escape his father said eyes. So he told briefly about his visit to old a Wu Mansion and his treatment with Ling.

Father Gao listened and asked his son

"Okay Liang, What's her name and how the girl is now. Did you follow to check up on her?"

Then it struck Liang, what kind of fool he was. Since he didn't receive any call, he too never thought of asking. He don't remember the name of Ling itself. He told his father, he will go make some calls and will be back.

Liang went to the study room nearby and have a call to Wu Wuhan. Wu Wuhan picked up the call and said

"Brother Liang, what a surprise. I'm getting a call from you, do you want anything from this humble abode?"

"Wuhan, Stop teasing me. I just wanted to check in the girl I treated at old Wu Mansion y'day. How is she doing now?" Liang asked in a serious tone

Wuhan stopped teasing after the serious tone

"Liang ge, she is doing very well. She is no more at Old Wu Mansion, She left with Brother Mingyu in the late morning itself. "

Since when did Mingyu started taking care of random cyclist? Liang thought Wuhan found her when she was coming from hill ride. There is something not right about this.

Liang immediately called Jiang Yu. He knows if he wants to find out about Mingyu, Jiang Yu is the person.

Jiang, Mingyu and Liang are childhood friends. They knew each other in and out.

Jiang Yu picked up the call said

"So infamous doctor Gao Liang, What can a humble person like me do for you?"

Liang felt wronged, today everyone seems to be teasing him right from his mother to his best friend.

"Yu, you are so jobless. This idiot Mingyu is not giving you enough work to do, how he can pay you for doing nothing." Liang ruthlessly teased him forgetting why he Yu in the first place.

Yu laughed out loud and said

"Are you jealous now that I'm getting paid for nothing? Tell me before you forget why have you called me in first place you idiot?"

"Okay okay, I tried contacting Mingyu, I just wanted to know where Mingyu is? I need to see him for some work?" Liang lied with ease.

Jiang knows he is lying, still he replied "Mingyu is currently working at his apartment. Don't even think about disturbing him. I will literally kill you in bare hands if you do. Do you understand?"

Liang agreed and both of them had usual teasing and bantering for a while before they disconnected the call.

Liang's father wanted privacy from his hospital environment, so he bought an apartment in a posh residential area closer of military campus. Mingyu's Apartment is also in the same building. So Liang just took a lift and went to Mingyu's apartment.

Caretaker Shi Gong welcomed him and leaded him to Mingyu's Study room. Liang waited for a while before Shi Gong went to inform Mingyu about Liang's arrival.

Mingyu was very happy to see his friend. He also wanted to thank him personally for treating Ling in time.

"Liang My Man, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I really owe you one for the timely service."

Liang was confused, so he asked

"Mingyu what are talking about?"

Mingyu couldn't help and gave a loud laugh. Liang got tensed. Again he was getting teased.

"Mingyu, stop laughing and tell me about that girl whom I gave treatment in Old Wu Residence"

Mingyu didn't want unleash the anger of his best friend, so he replied "Liang, I will tell her name. Will you be able to identify her?"

Liang replied instantly "okay, done deal!"

Mingyu said in low voice "Her Name is Gao Ling"

Liang immediately asked "IS she the granddaughter of Gao Tai?"

Mingyu said "Yes my friend, you are catching up now"

Liang Said "No wonder, I find her looking familiar. My father shouldn't have allowed her to grow up with those Li's"

Mingyu tried to cool his friend

"Liang, relax now. Don't show it any point that as if you know her okay. I'm telling you because I want you to treat her mental stress. I'm worried it is because she lost her memory years ago and its subconsciously putting pressure when she is trying to recollect it. I'm no doctor, but you should find answer without she realizing. Can you please do that for me?"

Liang started laughing now and said

"Look at the irony, I lied to Jiang Yu and tried to fish data out of you. But you changed the entire scenario in making me work without my approval. The worst part is, I can't even say no to you for this. No wonder they call you extremely clever businessman in the country"

The Same time Liang got a text message from Father Gao "She is Gao Ling, Grand Daughter of Gao Tai. Grandma Gao Tai has assigned you in treating her. You will get more Instructions from Grandma Gao Tai very soon. Keep it confidential."

Liang replied "Yes father"

Liang was the one who rescued Mingyu and Ling. He took both of them to military hospital. He was drenched in her blood. That was only day, he was terrified. He was not sure how to live if ling didn't make out alive from the injuries.

He was disobedient to his father during those times since his father was like an army general. The respect and love for his father increased only after seeing the way his father saved Ling's Life. Everyone thought that Ling will not make out alive and even they pronounced her dead for security purposes. Father Gao couldn't give up on Ling. He took her to France with the help of Gao Tai and gave the best treatment possible to Ling. Ling started responding and she recovered in a year, However she couldn't gain any old memories.

His father never visited Ling after that due to safety measures and he never spoke about her to anyone ever since. Liang changed after that incident and started becoming responsible. Ling was like his own Little sister, His father gave her another chance in life and he owed him by being a filial son.
