25 Please accept me as your little brother

The mornings are always the new the beginnings you can wish for. Mingyu woke up when the sun was trying to come out. His movements woke Ling from the sleep.

Ling stared at the handsome guy in front of her.

She thought herself,

How can a person look so handsome straight from sleep? Without a worry she was admiring his features, He has dark brown eyes and thin pink lips, both had enormous seductive quality. Ling had forgotten that he is actually awake and watching her ogling at him.

He came closer to her ears and said

"Like what you see? If you say yes, it's all yours."

"Mingyu, how can you be shameless" Ling blushed. Her pale white skin had turned deep red.

Mingyu stood up and left to refresh himself. He has long due of pending works piling up at office.

Both of them refreshed and started staring at each other. Silence was more powerful between them. Mingyu broke the long silence and said

"Ling, I can't stay here for long time. Last evening I came here just to take care of you. Now I have to get back to work. Will you be fine by yourself? What's is your plan for the day?"

He wanted her to accompany him, so that he can take care of her. But he didn't want to force her, so he asked open ended question to Ling

Ling didn't want to and she was not prepared to leave him. Actually she got ready to leave with him. Though Wu's were extremely good to her, she didn't want to be a burden for them. So she asked Mingyu with sad pout

"Can I please join you? I will help you with your work if you want. I don't want to be alone right now. Please don't say no?"

How can he resist the cute little pout? He responded

"Ling dear, Then we will head over to my apartment in downtown instead of going over to office. I can work comfortably there and you can take a rest as well. I don't want to worn you out since you just recovered."

Ling agreed happily and both of them conveyed their thanks and gratitude to Wu'S.

Elder Wu and Grandma hold themselves from expressing since they don't want Ling to suspect anything else. Ling went to Wu Wuhan and gave him a Light Hug

Wuhan was surprised, Ling said

"Thanks so much. I'm grateful for the timely help. I really owe you one. In future if there is anything I can do for you. Please don't hesitate to ask me."

Wuhan was touched by Ling's words. He told

"Sister Ling, I feel very familiar around you. Please accept me as your little brother. That's all I ask for."

Ling immediately gave another hug which was intense than the previous one

"I am so happy to have a Little brother like, please be in touch with me."

Both the Elders looked at each other and felt happy for their grand-kids inside.

With that both Ling and Mingyu left the old Wu Mansion and started towards Mingyu's apartment.

On the way Mingyu called Jiang Yu to send the files to his apartment. By the time they reached everything was in order. Ling and Mingyu were welcomed by Mingyu'S Caretaker Shi Gong.

Shi Gong is Mingyu's favorite caretaker. She traveled everywhere with Mingyu except when he went for a few missions in Special Forces. She dedicated her life to take care of him.

Ling felt Mingyu's Apartment was similar style to his office, very well planned and not a place to showcase money. His taste in design is very unique.

Caretaker Shi Gong asked both of them to have some snacks and juice before head to work. Ling didn't hesitate or felt shy around. She felt extremely comfortable and jumped into the food presented in front of her.

Mingyu was surprised, but at the same time happy by her change in attitude. He made a mental note that he should never make her angry for no reason. He couldn't bear the consequences.

After the snacks, Mingyu instructed Shi Gong to give company to Ling and give a tour of the house. He left to study to continue his work.

As soon as he entered the study room, Mingyu went to work mode. He took Jiang on conference call

Mingyu asked

"Yu, I heard there is going to be bidding for developing a software for New Wing of Aviation. Did you find out the background info?"

Jiang Yu was shocked. This guy was not in office for days together, yet he keeps himself updated. Got to admire him for his efficiency, he thought and responded

"Yes Mingyu, as per previous contracts we were the one who was providing the software services. But the new government policy is trying to encourage multiple proposals and test the water before handing the project to the certain company. This is not a bad thing, however the issue is Chen family trying to gain exposure in the market through this project."

Mingyu said "Then this is going to be dirty game now. Chen's are known for playing dirty politics wherever they go. But suddenly what made them bid for this project. I am really intrigued."

Jiang Yu said "I suspect they might have some foreign backup. They are not having any profitable business otherwise. Even if they win this project, they might not have right resources."

Mingyu replied "Yes, they will try to steal the resources. I am sure they will pull my father's name in the bidding. They might strongly spread a news that I'm getting projects because of influence of my father. So let's prove them wrong this time. By showcasing our stand, going forward no one should question out genuinity."

Jiang Yu was eager to know the plan in Mingyu's mind since it is always thrilling to work with Mingyu. He never fails to surprise with his genius thoughts.

Mingyu said "I will reveal the plan of action tomorrow at office. For this project, Wu Zexi and Gao Ling will work together. I will prepare Ling for this project and you will help Wu Zexi to come on board."

With that Mingyu ended the call. Jiang Yu on the other end never understood the reason behind his best friend's bizarre ideas. What can he do about it, he can just follow whatever Mingyu says.
