Chapter 170 : Getting map in London

After one week

In the morning,

Alex and Elizabeth arrived at the port of London. Elizabeth was ready to start her shopping adventure.

Alex was still a bit hesitant, but Elizabeth was determined and excited about shopping. Little did they know that there was a pair of eyes observing them from the shadows.

Alex and Elizabeth arrived in the shopping district, where they were met with a host of colourful storefronts and bustling streets.

Many noble ladies were also shopping, dressed in their finest gowns and accompanied by their ladies-in-waiting.

Alex followed Elizabeth to the finest cloth store, where they were welcomed by the owner. Elizabeth began looking through the selection of fabrics, while Alex looked around the store.

Elizabeth began to try all the new designs and fabrics, feeling the texture of each one and admiring the different colours and patterns. Alex watched Elizabeth as she tried all the dresses.

After two hours of shopping, they left the store. Elizabeth had a smile on her face and Alex had a tired expression on his face.

Then they arrived at a place to eat lunch. After they had lunch, Alex decided to visit the Royal Library of London.

After some time Alex and Elizabeth arrived at the library.

The Royal Library of London was a grand building, with high ceilings and long bookshelves filled with ancient manuscripts and volumes.

The walls were adorned with paintings and sculptures, and the floors were made of polished marble.

The library was filled with the smell of old books and the sound of hushed voices. It was a truly magical place, and Alex and Elizabeth both felt the weight of the history and knowledge that the library held.

"Alex, are we able to search this entire library?" asked Elizabeth as she looked at the books and felt it would take a while to get the book they wanted.

"What else, we have to try to find that map?"

"Aren't you god? Why don't you try to use your powers?"

"Even using my powers it will take up to 1 day to know about all the books in this library, "said Alex

"Then are we going to stay here for an entire day?" said Elizabeth with a dejected face.

"No, we just have to search where the history books are," said Alex

Then they arrived at the history section of the library and began their search.

Alex closed his eyes and time slowed around him.

His mind began to race as his thinking, became faster as if his thoughts were suddenly able to explore the depths of the library shelves in a matter of seconds.

Alex began to search for the map, scanning through the titles of books and the spines of scrolls in his mind.

After half an hour

He then found a book with the title "legend of the sword of Cortés "

"Found it," said Alex with a smile.

Then a book flew off the top shelf and landed in his hands.

The book was old and had a layer of dust on it, which had accumulated over the years.

He opened it to find that it was full of sword legends that he was familiar with. At the end of the book, there was also a map that was neatly folded.

Alex opened the map and saw that map was full of mysterious symbols and directions. He couldn't quite make out what it meant.

"It seems I have to meet Jack again to ask for his assistance." thought Alex

As he felt Jack was the right candidate for this type of job. Finding new places and exploring is something Jack is very good at.

"Alex, did you find it?" Elizabeth asked as she saw Alex holding the map.

"Yes, I found it now we can continue our journey "

"But before that, I have to deal with some bugs that have been following us for quite some time" Said Alex as he felt someone had been following them ever since they entered London.

"Bugs?" Elizabeth tilted her head in confusion

Then Alex used his telepathy to control the person. Who had been following them and discovered who had ordered it?

"Beckett, it seems like he found out I came to London "

"Shall I kill him? "

"Nah, why don't I try something?" he asked as he imagined a good thing that might help him in future.

He then ordered that person to report that Alex was injured and was in a very weak condition.

He came to London to get some treatment and left London.

"Beckett, I'm pretty interested in what you plan to do next," said Alex with a smile

Then Alex left London as he got what he wanted.

At the same time, in an office

The office was a large, airy room with a high ceiling, large windows, and a mahogany desk in the centre.

The walls were lined with bookshelves filled with books, and a few large paintings hung on the wall. The floor was covered in a deep, plush rug, and a few comfortable armchairs were scattered around the room.

"Sir, the person who followed Alex said he was injured and was visiting a doctor." Said Ian Mercer who was the assistant to Beckett who followed him for a long time.

"Is injured? " asked Beckett as he looked at his assistant, not knowing whether he was telling the truth or not.

"Yes sir "

"Are you sure about that?" Beckett asked again not believing.

"Yes, the person who followed him is quite sure."

"So he gets injured as well," thought Beckett as he thought of Alex's inhuman strength.

" So where is he now?" Beckett asked since he wanted to deal with Alex who is in a weak state.

"Sir he left, after visiting a doctor "

"We missed a golden opportunity to kill him," said Beckett with a disappointed face.

"Then what about the investigation of Governor Swann and Norrington's sudden disappearance?" asked Beckett

"After investigation, we found that Norrington was killed by a pirate "Said Ian Mercer

"Then you know what to do," said Beckett as he looked at his assistant, Ian Mercer, who understood what Beckett was trying to accomplish.

"Yes sir "

Then he left the office.

"Soon I will have Port Royal in my hands"

"Then I will start my plan to eliminate the pirates after I get Jack's compass"

"I have to think of a way to get that and also kill those two pirates."
