After the break and everyone had something to eat, all the contestants and audience members returned to the tournament venue. Bulma, launch (blue hair), oolong, puar, and master Roshi said goodbye to the rest and wished them all luck. Even tho Yamcha was eliminated he was still able to go and watch from where the contenders are.
Once all the fighters were back in the building the announcer said, "Jackie Chun and man wolf pleas make your way to the arena." He then made his way to the stage to introduce the fighters. Once both Jackie and man wolf were on the stage the announcer started his intro, " it's time for match two of the quarterfinals, and the moment you've all been waiting for. The return of the defending champion Jackie Chun as he takes on the wolf man." The 'man wolf growls at the announcer. "A-haha I mean man wolf, sorry about that, ahaha anyway is everyone in the audience ready for some hair raising action?!?!" Then the match begun.
It's started out with both Jackie (master Roshi) and the 'man wolf' simply talking, with the man saying he had a grudge on Jackie for something he did three years ago. Jackie doesn't seam to know what he was talking about. 'Man wolf' didn't like that Jackie didn't even know, so he started attacking. Jackie just dodged all his strikes still trying to figure out why he was so mad.
After so long it's revealed that man wolf is mad that he can't change back into a human because Jackie destroyed the moon. The comedy routine when on like that for a while with the 'man wolf' giving his backstory. Carl just had a thought, 'didn't he say he was a wolf turned into a man?' But just simply shrugged not really caring.
After some more antics master Roshi was able to get 'wolf man out the ring by throwing a bone and 'man wolf' chased it like a dog. After realizing what happened 'man wolf' charged Jackie again but he stunned him still by extending two fingers. Jackie then proceeded to help the 'man wolf by calling Krillin down and used hypnosis to make him think krillins bald head was the moon, making him change back. The 'man wolf' thanked Jackie and ran off.
After all that the announcer came back on stage, "a wolf turning into a man, who says we don't try anything new." Tien then comes onstage and Krillin is already there. "The third match is about to begin as Tien faces off against our very own moon boy Krillin. And a fun fact, these two opponents seem to be from rival schools. Let's see who comes out on top." The announcer then leaves the stage and everyone focused on what's about to happen. "Begin."
Both fighters got in their stances and didn't move a muscle, analyzing one another. After a few minutes, as if preplanned, they both charged at each other colliding at the middle exchanging punches. Tien, taking advantage of his height and longer reach, was more on the offensive as he laid combos on Krillin who blocked or deflected as much as he could.
Because Tien wasn't taking the match as seriously as he should Krillin found an opening. Krillin ducked a punch putting himself in a crouched position. Then with all his might shot himself up like a rocket making krillins head collide with Tiens jaw for a massive head smash. This made Tien fly backward in a daze onto his back. Krillin was holding his head because of the impact.
Tien stood up and clenched his jaw with his hand, then spat out a bit of blood. He looked at Krillin and saw he was still trying to ease the pain in his head, so he stood up and started charging Krillin. After Krillin eased the pain he noticed Tien and was able to start dodging, if not barely, with a frantic expression. Tien was able to kick Krillin onto the ground and Tien jumped for a drop kick.
When Krillin sat up the sun bounced off his bald head and shined right into Tiens eyes making him miss and hit the place right next to Krillin. In a panic Krillin punched out with his eyes closed and due to his size instead of hitting Tiens stomach, he hits Tien right in the dragonballs. Tiens eyes went wide as he backed off cupping his groin. Krillin leapt trying to apologize but tien just told him to shut up.
After getting his composer back Tien looked at krillin in rage. Carl didn't really blame him, he would be mad to if someone hit him in the balls. Tien started charging something on his fingers and Krillin in a panick started to charge the kamehameha. The next second Tien shouts dodon wave and Krillin shoots the kamehameha. Both attacks meet and still for a moment then Tiens attack quickly cuts through Krillin negating it. Tiens attack then pierces krillins right shoulder making it go limp making it unusable for the rest of the match.
The crowd gasped and the dragon crew were worried. Carl just narrowed his eyes because there wasn't anything they could do unless Tien tried to kill him or krillin gives up.
Tien then tells Krillin to give up. To which Krillin replies that he still has one good arm and charges to attack. Tien simply shoots another wave at Krillin, in his leg this time, makeing him fall to the ground. The ref then starts his countdown as Krillin with one good arm and leg tries to stand up. Krillin, almost able to stand, was forced back to the ground as Tien steps on his back applying pressure, "you just don't know when to quit." Then, as he looks at goku, he kicks krillin in the stomach, hard, sending him to the grass outside the ring.
The announcer rushes over to Krillin to see if he was alright, he sees that he was alive if not severely beaten he yelled out, "and due to ring out Tien is advancing to the next stage." He then covered his mic and starts talking to some organizers. " get him to the hospital now." The rest of the crew all looked on in worry as Krillin was carried away on a stretcher.
As Tien was walking by back into the building he looked at goku, "that will be you when we face each other. I hope you're prepared."
Goku simply had a serious expression on his face, "I won't lose to someone like you." Tien only scoffed at Goku and walked away. Tien also gave Carl a glance as he narrowed his eyes at him.
Jackie Chun seemed to be thinking on something then said, "I have to do something real quick." And before anyone could reply he went off in what looked like the direction of Tien.
That put an end to the days fight and will be continued tomorrow. They all went to go check on Krillin who was awake. He was fine with bandages over his arm and leg that were shot and a bandage over his head from a heavy blow he took. He will have to spend the night and most the morning the next day at the hospital, so they all wished him a speedy recovery with goku saying he would give a punch to Tien just for him.
Carl was then invited to eat with the rest of the dragon crew and he accepted. He was asked many questions about his reality from bulma and about how he traveled realities. Carl showed her his bracelet that helps him and she instantly grabs it and starts to study it. Once she started to pull out some tools Carl took it back to the disappointment of Bulma. They didn't have to deal with blond launch all threw out dinner which Carl was grateful for.
After dinner everyone went back to their hotel rooms. Carl reconnected with HK who spent the day in the room working on an upgrade chip for himself that will let himself act as a scouter, "how's it going?" Carl asked HK.
HK responded, {I am almost complete with the upgrade chip that will allow me to record power levels up to 2000.} HK continued his work.
Carl then asked, "did you get rid of that bug if the power levels exceeds capacity it will blow up?" Carl didn't want HK to fry a circuit by reading a power level higher than what he's able to.
HK nodded his head, {I did master, I rather if my head doesn't explode so I set it if a power level is higher than the read it will simply display error inset of exploding.}
Carl nodded then he felt something was off. Looking out the window he could see what looked like goku, yamcha, Tien and that one old guy that Carl can't remember the name of (master shen) all having a conversation outside the building. After a bit they all separated going back to their own rooms. Carl muses thinking tomorrow will be interesting.
