Emergency Meeting

It took about 15 minutes for the soldiers to register Roxanne and Geoffrey. Theodore then heard another knock on his apartment door, so he lazily walked forward to see who had come. 

"Geoffrey? Why are you here?" Theodore raised his eyebrows in confusion when he saw Geoffrey's figure at his door. 

"Can you help us again?" Geoffrey looked uneasy as he spoke. 

"Help you? Did your sister leave again?" For a moment Theodore tried to remember that he had actually seen Roxanne before. 

Geoffrey shook his head vigorously, "No! My sister is at home, it's just that we don't have any food supplies at the moment." Geoffrey scratched the back of his head awkwardly as he explained the situation. 

Theodore now realized what trouble the two brothers living opposite him were in. It was actually no wonder why they had no food supplies, given that they were young and often ordered food from outside. 

Theodore had food supplies because he had experienced the apocalypse before, so he prepared his life. If it wasn't like that then Theodore wouldn't have food supplies right now either.

And now Theodore did not intend to share his food supplies with them either, he could not trust someone that easily in this difficult life. 

"I'm also experiencing the same thing. I only have a few supplies at home," Theodore replied later. 

"Apparently so. Then, what should we do?" Geoffrey did not suspect Theodore's answer either. 

"We'd better go to your house, I have an idea." Theodore intended to tell the two of them about his plan. 

Geoffrey was happy to invite Theodore to his house, he knew that Theodore must have an idea to solve their current problem. 

"Are you back, Geo?" Roxanne immediately ran to the front door when she heard the sound of the door opening. 

Roxanne was speechless when she saw Geoffrey back together with Theodore, she didn't expect Theodore to come here too. 

"Hi, we meet again." Theodore greeted Roxanne kindly. 

"I didn't expect you to come," Roxanne replied with a clumsy smile. 

Theodore only smiled mysteriously when he heard Roxanne's question, and then Geoffrey pulled Roxanne's arm to sit on the sofa.

Theodore followed them and sat down opposite Geoffrey and Roxanne.

"Brother Theo came here to tell us his idea to solve our food problem!" Geoffrey explained Theodore's reason for coming there excitedly. 

"Do you really have a solution to this?" Roxanne was not like Geoffrey who easily believed Theodore's words. 

Roxanne knew that this food problem was very serious, especially since the world was in such turmoil. 

The food supply around the world definitely couldn't increase after the arrival of the Zombies. This problem was not that easy to solve and Roxanne knew that. 

"We have to go out and loot supermarkets or places that have food supplies. It's up to you whether you want to do it or not," Theodore explained the plan he had in mind. 

Geoffrey's face slowly turned dark as he heard Theodore's explanation of his plan. 

Meanwhile, Roxanne sighed tiredly when she realized that Theodore's plan did make sense. 

It would not be easy for them to get food supplies other than looting a place at the moment. 

"I know it definitely won't be easy to solve this problem. I have no problem going out at the moment given that the soldiers are already cleaning up around the apartment building," Roxanne replied later. 

The current situation outside was not as chaotic as back then, so Roxanne did not mind going out to look for food, after all, she had to survive at this time, whether she wanted to or not she had to do everything possible to survive. 

"You agreed right away? I didn't expect you to agree so soon," Theodore replied, raising the corners of his lips slightly when he heard Roxanne's reply. 

"Are you sure?" This time it was Geoffrey who didn't believe Roxanne's words, he didn't expect his brother to agree to such an evil plan. 

Geoffrey knew Roxanne very well, his older sister was very strict and always obeyed the rules, how could she agree to loot the supermarket?

"What can we do now? Do you want to starve to death?" Roxanne rolled her eyes lazily when she heard Geoffrey questioning her decision. 

"But, still, looting is not a good thing!" Geoffrey looked at Roxanne in shock at this moment. 

"I don't want to do it either, Geo. But, the world is no longer the same as before, if we stay idle and do nothing sooner or later we will die either from zombies or starvation." Roxanne patted Geoffrey's shoulder lightly. 

Roxanne knew that Geoffrey was still too young to understand their current situation, as the older one she had to think logically. It would be foolish for Roxanne to remain silent without doing anything at this time. 

For a moment Theodore felt awkward during this family conversation, he finally cleared his throat softly to get their attention. 

"Geoffrey, what your sister said is true. The world is no longer the same today, you saw for yourself that the zombies have created chaos." Theodore also understood what Geoffrey was thinking. 

Actually, Theodore used to think like Geoffrey, he thought his money could solve the problem, but life in the apocalyptic world was very different from before. 

Even a rich man like Theodore did not hesitate to be betrayed by those around him. 

"If you don't want to come, that's fine too. Roxanne and I have enough to go out," Theodore continued later. 

"Yes, Theodore is right. You'd better look after the house while we're gone," Roxanne continued in response to Theodore's words. 

"All right." Geoffrey then nodded his head languidly. 

Roxanne patted Geoffrey's head lightly, then she turned to look at Theodore who was sitting opposite her. 

"When are we leaving?" Roxanne was a little nervous at the moment because she did not expect that she would be doing this looting in her life. 

"Two hours from now." Theodore glanced at his watch. 

"Alright, I'll be ready," Roxanne replied, agreeing with the time Theodore had set. 

Since they had already determined when they would leave, Theodore decided to leave Roxanne's apartment. 

Theodore also had to prepare before going out. Theodore would utilize this time to raise his level. 

When else could Theodore go out and slaughter those damn zombies. And now Theodore had to rack his brains to hide the existence of his system. 

It looked like Theodore had to prepare a big enough bag, so he could load up enough supplies later and he didn't want to make Roxanne suspicious of him.
