[Congratulations host on completing the quest given by the system!]

[Host has leveled up!]

[Host can now access status features]

Theodore felt something strange flowing through his body at the same time as he heard the notification sound from the system.

It was like a warm stream flowing through his body and Theodore was not bothered by it.

Slowly Theodore opened his eyes, and he felt his body lighter than before. Even though this time Theodore did not get any skills from the system, he only leveled up but he felt a change from within his body.

"System, I feel a slight change in my body. Is there something going on?" Theodore finally asked this to the system.

[Of course, by this time the host had risen to level 1]

"Then will this change happen every time I level up?" Theodore asked curiously.

[It can be said like that, but the next significant change will occur at level 10 and multiples of 10 henceforth]

Theodore nodded his head in understanding of what the system explained, although he did not know what the changes would be like.

Then Theodore also remembered that previously the system said that he had opened the status feature, so he intended to check the feature.

With a low voice, Theodore called up his status window. Theodore impatiently wanted to see the new features that the system gave him.

For a moment Theodore could only stare at the transparent screen in front of him, he didn't know how to react when he saw the information there.

Honestly, Theodore was both happy and confused, he was confused because he hadn't really played the game before. But, Theodore knew for sure that this information in front of him was often seen in a game.

However, the problem was that Theodore felt that his current status was not very good, especially when he saw that the numbers in his attributes list were only 1.

"System! How do I increase these attributes?" Theodore impatiently asked the system this.

[The host must level up or it could be by completing the quests given by the system. Hosts can use attribute points that can be obtained from leveling up or rewards from completing quests]

Hearing the system's explanation Theodore realized that this bastard system was indirectly telling him to go out and hunt zombies.

Theodore's face turned dark when he realized this, to be honest even though he had previously slaughtered zombies, he was not used to the sensation of killing zombies.

Moreover, the longer the zombies will evolve and it will be more difficult to kill them. It seemed like it was inevitable that Theodore would have to get stronger to survive in this world full of zombies.

"System, you're really not letting me relax!" Theodore ruffled his hair in annoyance.

Theodore then remembered that he had been in the sacred dimension for too long, he had to get out of there.

Given that there were still soldiers around the area of his apartment building, Theodore wondered if they were still doing the cleanup. Hopefully, they were done.

In the blink of an eye, Theodore returned to the dining table in his kitchen. And again his ears heard gunshots in the distance.

"Oh my, they're still not done?" Theodore looked up to look at the wall clock.

After realizing what time it was Theodore finally realized why the soldiers still hadn't finished cleaning.

Finally, Theodore decided to rest again, he still felt tired even though he had meditated in the sacred dimension. Theodore returned to his room to take a nap.

. . .

That afternoon there was the sound of a heavy military car stopping around the apartment building, they saw several signs indicating that there were survivors in the apartment.

They entered the apartment building to record the survivors of yesterday's zombie attack and also to clean up the apartment building.

While on the 15th floor, one of the soldiers banged on the door that had previously been marked that there were still survivors on this floor.

Meanwhile, Theodore who was asleep woke up very surprised when he heard a knock on the front door of his apartment.

Theodore quickly summoned his sword from the sacred dimension and slowly walked toward the front door of his apartment to check who was visiting his apartment.

As Theodore checked through the peephole in his door, he was relieved when he saw several soldiers around the floor of his apartment.

Relieved by what he saw Theodore finally ventured to open the door of his apartment.

"Good afternoon! We are city soldiers in charge of collecting survivors. We need to record the survivors, how many people are in your apartment?" one of the soldiers asked Theodore.

"I only live alone. Are you guys going to set up a base here?" Theodore quickly asked the soldiers about this.

"Yes, so we need to do this data collection. Can we come in to check your apartment?" The soldier replied seriously.

Theodore moved out of the way and let one of them in to check his apartment.

"Alright, stay inside your apartment for a few days. We are doing some cleaning right now. For further information you can monitor it through the radio, we will provide information from there." The soldier explained the current situation to Theodore.

Before the soldiers left Theodore stopped them to ask them something.

"Wait a minute, I want to ask if there are still zombies in this apartment?" Theodore was quite curious because yesterday there were still zombies roaming the 13th floor.

"There aren't any anymore. We've been cleaning up this apartment building, but it's still not safe to wander around outside at the moment," the soldier warned Theodore.

"Alright, thanks for the information." Theodore nodded his head in understanding.

After that the soldiers moved on to the apartment in front of Theodore's apartment, it seemed that this time it was Roxanne and Geoffrey's turn to be questioned by them.

Before closing the door of his apartment Theodore saw Roxanne and Geoffrey who were hiding behind Roxanne.

Theodore waved his hand towards Geoffrey when he saw Geoffrey greeting him from a distance.
