Chapter 51 Dear System... Fokiu!

With his life hanging by a thread, the sorcerer's senses returned in a desperate attempt to survive. The world spun around him with a dizzying whirl of colors and shapes as he fought against the poison coursing through his veins.

Yet even in this half-conscious state, his body moved with a swiftness that instinctively acted by itself in his last second. Because even in such a dire state, an insect is still... an insect.

Nimbly, his muscles respond with lightning-fast reflexes, sidestepping her blows by mere centimeters before launching a counterattack. His hands blurred with speed as he feigned a strike to her stomach, luring her into a false sense of security that she could block it, and the girl fell for it.

In a swift and decisive motion, Gojo's fist shifted toward her exposed throat, delivering a devastating blow that shattered her bones and crushed her flesh.

The impact sent her crashing to the ground on the floor. She tried to desperately gasp for air, but there wasn't any response. All of her body parts were turned off from the hit, and the sword fell from her hands, falling near Gojo's feet.

And like that, the tide of the battle changed in a second. Dante was on the floor disarmed, with blank eyes, helpless against Gojo, who now needed to kill Jogo so his efforts wouldn't betray him.

He grabbed the inverted spear of heaven in his grip and quickly stabbed her kidneys and liver, burying the sword deep within her body. Seeing how the main threat was out of the game and poisoned beyond salvation with no way to neutralize it, he turned to the curse and slowly walked to him. His eyes felt heavy, his limbs unresponsive from the venom, and he could barely muster any of his strength.

"Yo, Satoru," a voice echoed from the shadows, catching Gojo off guard.

Gojo's face rotated to where the sound came just to see Geto a few meters away from him. He looked exactly like the last time he saw him before dying. The same clothes, the same eyes, his six eyes even told him it was him...

"Deja vu? Some kind of illusion? A trick of my battered senses? No... Did I run out of time?" thought Gojo. But before he could ponder any further about what was going on, Geto's words snapped him back to reality.

With his usual smile and semi-closed eyes, he told him, "Good night, and I hope you have a great vacay... Open!"

Gojo, thinking he was about to die and his brain barely working, couldn't activate a cursed technique to protect against the enemy in front of him. Recalling everything that went through his mind just a few seconds ago, the Gokumonkyo instantly activated, sealing his cursed energy.

Before Geto can close the gate or Gojo realizes what is happening, In a split second, a cold, sharp ceremonial blade pierces Gojo's heart from behind.

He felt a rush of shock and confusion as his eyes met those of Geto, who stood nearby with a frown etched on his face.

Geto demanded, his voice laced with disappointment. "What is the meaning of this?"

Jogo yelled back with determination as he stood beside Dante, who had just thrown his weapon at Gojo with all his might. "This is the only chance we would have to kill him."

Geto let out a tired sigh. "Now I will have to kill the next carrier of the Six Eyes before they become a threat..."

Tired and panting with fatigue, I tried to say something, but nothing came out of my mouth. "BURN THIS SHIT I WANT REWARDS!!! THE MESSAGE HASN'T POPPED UP! HE IS STILL ALIVE SOMEHOW!" I didn't want this motherfucker to pull any shenanigans with his plot armor, I remembered that he is probably the strongest in this verse, and the universe will try to save him somehow.

The technique Jogo used contracted, and he stopped burning the oxygen. I took deep mental breaths and felt relief flood through me. Knowing that, finally, it was over.

The place slowly filled the air, and I could breathe normal air once more and not from the shit Geto made me eat.

Geto gave me a small inventory curse and stuffed it inside me. The curse had a lot of oxygen inside it, and the only reason I ate it was to not die for the same reason this guy died. This is also the reason I'm okay, even if my throat is broken.

I'm just bleeding out...

The blue message that I had been waiting for finally popped up.

The list went on and on, and it didn't look like it would end any time soon.

"Huh..." Dante's brain ignored any other sensorial input that he felt. The amount of money he got and the rewards were too much. He didn't expect this much, at most 300k, for killing him because of all the unfair conditions he used to.

"Holy... Did I just get his overpowered technique? WHERE IS THE CATCH!!!" he thought as he opened the panel for more details.

He almost forgot about this tiny detail compatibility.

He can't use cursed techniques because he doesn't have cursed energy, and his body isn't compatible with it.

A slow creeping sensation gradually began enveloping his body. As he stood motionless, lying down on the ground, he felt the pain reverberate in his muscles. The constant abuse he had put his body through was starting to take a heavy toll on him.

Dante was still utterly perplexed by what had just happened. He knew that guy was strong, but to think that he almost won with all the odds against him.

Let's recount: I had the inverted spear of heaven. He just expanded his domain. His brain was barely functioning because of the lack of oxygen. I used the most effective weapon to kill him. I used a surprise attack. He fought a bit with the cursed spirits, and Geto had to come in. If not, probably every single one of us will be dead.

Even if the whole universe aligned, he almost killed us... That guy is truly a monster...

With the death of Satoru Gojo, sufficient time elapsed for everyone to fully recover from the effects of the domain expansion of 0.2 seconds.

Dante, bruised and beaten, stood sprawled on the ground, watching Mahito intensely. His throat was heavily injured, stopping him from speaking. The venom coursing through his veins made every movement agonizing, restricting his mobility to nothing but the flicker of his eyes.

Mahito gazed at Jogo, and after doing it, he murmured, "I know, I know." his voice carrying a hint of resignation.

My body miraculously healed in an instant, bringing me back to how I looked minutes ago. Quickly I replied, "Thanks, and HOLY FUCK! I knew he was strong, but I almost lost at my own game."

Geto interjected with a stern tone, his eyes piercing my soul as he addressed Jogo and me. "Didn't I make it clear that our plan was to seal him, not kill him?"

Jogo firmly replied, "I saw a chance with this girl, and I decided to take it; she even agreed."

Of course, I wanted to kill him, those rewards were completetly worth it But I couldn't say just that, technically speaking, I don't have any reason to kill him. I replied, "Not totally."

Jogo, with his usual angry tone, voiced his thoughts, "Weren't you the one who said that you wanted the last hit, AND FROM WHERE DID YOU TOOK THAT WINE?"

I yelled while drinking some wine I saved inside the inventory cursed spirit, "DETAILS!"

Mahito turns around, "Oh..." his hands stretch, and he breaks the wall for what seems no reason.

While taking another bottle, I ask, "What happened?"

"Someone was spying on us," Mahito replied while his eyes scanned the surroundings for any other sign.

Geto responded, "It doesn't matter. They will eventually know when the next baby carries the six eyes; now I have more work to do..."

It was JOGOAT! not Dante who killed The bisected one.
