Chapter 52 Consequences

The fate of the sorcerer was sealed on this day; the crafty plan to capture or kill the strongest sorcerer in the world had succeeded, thanks to an unexpected ally that neither Geto nor the cures could foresee.

Far away from the tragic scene of Dante's triumph. The actual main protagonist of this world stood, a semi-pink-haired boy, who spoke with a tiny brown robot about the shocking news.

Itadori, who had almost idolized Gojo as his mentor and savior, was bewildered, refusing to believe. His expression twisted with disbelief as he retorted, "You are lying. Gojo-sensei is invincible. He couldn't die by a bunch of curses-"

Mechamaru sensed the stress the machine was suffering from Itadori's tight grip. He interjected to save the device, "He didn't die to a curse." mechamaru stated bluntly, its synthetic voice cutting through the tension like a sharp blade.

What?! Mei Mei and Yuji gasped simultaneously, their faces showing disbelief and confusion. If a curse didn't kill him, then who did? It couldn't be an evil sorcerer. They were no match for Satoru Gojo's unstoppable power.

With their speculations on the clouds, Mechamaru brought them back to this world, "He died to someone without cursed energy."

This shocked them, leaving them without words, with a depressive mood settling in. They both looked down, avoiding each other's eyes. Mei Mei wondered how to deal with this situation, if he actually died then this country was doomed no matter what and so the Gojo clan, Mei Mei continued thinking about how to respond to this situation.

Mechamaru continued, "I don't know how someone without cursed energy got here, but they seemed to have some sorta of a deal. The one with a stitched face and more human-looking curse healed her at the brink of the dead."

Yuji's eyes lost their spark, and he gazed at the ground with a blank expression. The robot's voice echoed, not even letting him take a break, "Yuji, this news will cause chaos in the world. Tell them that he is sealed and there is no way to help him... his death means a lot, it also means your dead..."

The simulation inside Mechamaru stopped. He tried to guess how it would go if he told them the truth; the result ended up being a cluttered mess that wouldn't work, no matter what.

To ensure that the world doesn't go into total chaos at such a critical moment, taking into consideration all the last things, Mechamaru chose his words carefully, and he began speaking, his tone grave yet determined tone filled Itadori's ear, "Yuji I need you to hear me out, Gojo has been sealed and-..."

...

...

...

While all this conversation unfolded, The curses and Dante decided where to go. With the main objective finished, the other sorcerers turned into the priority, but according to Geto, only 1 of them may be a hindrance.

Even after killing the big fish from this world, Dante didn't feel bored, nor was he finished with this. A new instinct was driving him to get more and more, looking forward to their plan. With a blazing green fire burning in his eyes, Dante asked, "What now?"

Geto replies, "You can do whatever you want. Right now, I'll just watch what the sorcerers do, and if they miraculously call Yuta, then I'll have to take care of him."

Mahito grinned wickedly while enthusiastically replying, "Let's go after Yuji Itadori! We don't need Sukuna anymore. Gojo is already dead." He turned to his ally, "Jogo, you should forget about Sukuna. He's not the type to follow our orders." He clenched his fist, recalling how Sukuna had mocked him and slashed him barely sparing his life.

Brimming with conviction, Jogo raised his voice to argue, "The golden era of the curses-!"

I got my nose in their discussion, "I think he's right? you know. It's none of my business, but from what I heard, Sukuna is as strong as Gojo, if not stronger. If he ever comes back, we might get in his crossfire…" I shrugged, not really caring about the outcome. I was only here to reap the rewards, and I already participated in the ultimate one.

They continued discussing about what to do, and somehow, the conversation turned from Sukuna and Yuji to a competition. The first to find Yuji Itadori was the one who would get the right to choose what to do.

Dante finished off another bottle of wine, and the rich aroma began filling the air and his mouth. He reached into the maw of his inventory curse, taking a bottle to calm his insatiable thirst. Now he was sure about it; he either was an addict, or the body was one.

'Who should I follow?' Dante finished the whole wine bottle and took another from the inventory curse. Because he just has two cursed tools and a gun, the rest of the space is free to fit anything he wants, so he asked Geto to buy him the best wines and stuff them inside, even if their effects barely affected him.

My relationship with the curses isn't bad with anyone... let's follow Jogo, I ask, "Now there are only special and first-grade sorcerers left... right?"

Jogo replied, confident in his power, "Yes, they might be able to kill one of us, but if we act together again, the sorcerers won't be a problem."

I asked, "Hey, Are you actually gonna bring back Sukuna? Like I said earlier, I don't think it's a good idea. We already have enough power to kill everyone else, and according to Mahito, that guy won't follow orders."

Jogo remained resolute, "Regardless, the era of cursed spirits has begun. Sukuna's return would solidify our dominance, making it impossible for the sorcerers to make a comeback."

I said, "Cool, I guess... Anyway, now we only have to kill the other sorcerers. I hope they are strong... Is there anyone who is a threat?"

Jogo responded, "No, they won't be a threat to me nor to you-"

The air in the room was abruptly shattered by a deafening explosion as if the world had been ripped apart. A sudden, intense pressure wave followed, and I could feel my ears ringing from the sheer force of it. The sound seemed to have come from not far away,

I ask, "Did something happen? I just heard a loud sound."

Jogo's eyes narrowed as he turned to me. "Yes, Dagon has problems right now."

Wasting no time, with a swift motion, I snapped my wings out of my back, saying, "Then I'll get going..."

Just as I propelled to where I thought the place was, Jogo yelled at me, "That is the wrong turn!"

Taken aback by the sudden stupidity he committed, Dante's momentum abruptly stopped as he spun a few times on his axis before turning his gaze to look at him, "Ah?!" Levitating upside down with his hair covering his face, Dante asked, "Where!"

...

(Moments before Dante arrived)

...

Dagon found himself fighting against 4 sorcerers who weren't actually a problem. In the long run, he could win, but right now, they were trying to escape. His muscles coiled like springs as he prepared to unleash his full power upon his enemies. Victory seemed within his grasp, yet the fleeting moment of triumph was interrupted by the sudden appearance of an unexpected new human who popped up from the hole they made to his domain.

Maki and Megumi exchanged perplexed glances while the strange entered, "Who's that, a human? A sorcerer?" both thought simultaneously.

Dagon analyzed his opponent, and he couldn't feel a drop of cursed energy, and this had already raised his eyebrows. "Instead of escaping, they invited another sorcerer?" he pondered incredulously.

The new "sorcerer" analyzed everyone in the room with a keen gaze that missed nothing. With swift precision, he closed the distance between himself and the girl. The second he got close enough, he stole her weapon in an instant without much resistance on her part.

"This man actually doesn't have a drop of cursed energy?" thought Dagon before saying, "You are just a waste of time-" he stopped mid-sentence. At first, he thought this was a normal human or someone really weak, but the image of Raida flickered in his mind. Even Jogo lost to her. The only one who stood a chance was Mahito. And if this guy was like her, then he's dead...

"Your posture, way of acting, and moves aren't of a normal human... are you like her?" asked Dagon, feeling a scarily similar resemblance between these two. The more he compared them, the more that girl's aura enveloped the guy.

All the sorcerers got confused, "like her? Who is he talking about?"
