In Another World with Wisdom King Raphael?

I felt an excruciating pain in my left arm or where it should be since I can't feel anything there. My eyes shot wide open in surprise and I can feel cold sweats running down my forehead.

Gritting my teeth while enduring the pain, I looked at my left 'arm' and saw that it was gone. Then I noticed where I was, cold damp ground, not well-lit up space, and a small puddle next to me with the only light source being a glowing crystal trickling some liquid.

"What a great way to wake up, tch" I felt the phantom pain coming from my left 'arm'. Slowly, memories started coming back to me and my situation got clearer.

"...Damn it,"

Of all the people, I had to transmigrate as this guy. Not like I particularly hate him or something but there were much better than him.

"Nagumo Hajime..."

The main character of an anime I just started watching. Well, I knew some information about the world he was or 'I' was in right now since I liked to read the wiki back then.

"...Isn't this basically the same as Raphael except for Self-Upgrade?" I muttered to myself. But it seems Akasha got offended by my remark.

[Answer. Please refrain from comparing Akasha to that Raphael. A skill of that level is not worth mentioning.]

"Woah chill, I was just saying...no need to get that work up." I smiled wryly. "Anyway, why do you insist that you're different from Raphael, from your functions alone, you seem similar."

[Hmph. A skill that is bounded by its 'world' will is useless outside its own 'world'.]

"Worldly laws huh"

The voice of the world huh? Guess it makes sense if we think 'logically'. I did read several arguments regarding that topic. So with that in mind, even when Rimuru achieves his ultimate form, if 'he' goes outside his own 'world', most of his powers will be useless since most of them come from his skills.

"Huh, guess that checks out. One less topic to think about. Now then–" I winced again at the phantom pain. "...I should get ready to get out of this dungeon. Anyway, Akasha?"

"...Switch to Auto Battle Mode if I were to be put in a situation I can't get out of. And analyze Transmutation, that'll save me lots of time training it."

Hm? A sudden gush of information about my transmutation skill entered my mind. It felt like I trained in using it for years, it was amazing.

"Fuuh, now time to get out of this dungeon."

I stood up and slowly walked toward the opening which 'I' blocked previously with my skill.

Transmutation!

The rocks slowly transformed making a hole for me to get out of. Outside, I saw a dimly lit cavern with the same damp ground and scattered glowing crystals.

"Woah—!"

This place might be a dungeon but it has this strange sense of wonder to it. Such a beautiful yet deadly place.

[Note. Hostile presence approaching. Distance of 50 meters at 3 o'clock of the user.]

'Enemies!'

I immediately used thought acceleration which made my perception of time slower due to how fast my mind was working. I then used transmutation to dig a deep hole and shaped some rocks into spikes below it.

'There you are!'

I turned off my thought acceleration and saw the monster, it was a wolf-like creature with bloodthirsty eyes. Upon seeing me, it lunged forward but I quickly transmute the ground in front to create a hole that blocked it, causing its fall in the whole.

"My first kill!" I grinned.

Then once again, I raised the corpse by molding the ground below the hole.

"Akasha, analyze it and copy its skills."

I touched the fur of the monster, it was coarse.

[Understood. Analyzing.. ]

[Done. Acquired Skills 'Lighting Field' and 'Mana Manipulation']

"Well damn..." I smiled wryly. I know Akasha is op but experiencing it firsthand is quite novel. The skill I just got, can Lightning Manipulation even be considered magic at this point? For me, it's closer to manipulating an aspect of nature itself.

I looked at my right hand and with a thought flashes of blue lightning appeared and crackled.

*Bzzzt* *Bzzzt*

"Hoo, I can finally make weapons like Donner but stronger. I almost forgot about that ambrosia and divinity stone too. I can use those for other purposes. Alright," I pointed toward the twin-tailed wolf monster and hijacked its body's electrical signals. The next second, it moved and stood up.

I then made use of parallel operation and detach a bit of my mind which took control of the corpse. I then started walking while the corpse followed.

"Lightning manipulation is very useful."

I planned on eating this guy back at my temporary base. As for its poison, Akasha can take care of it with extra skill 'separation'.
