Healing and Items!

There was a large waterfall acting as a backdrop and a small house with a small garden beside it. The place was well-lit up as if it was outside under the sun's light. This was the end of the Orcus Great Labyrinth, which could be called a haven dedicated to those who cleared the labyrinth.

Inside the house, there, lying on a bed was Hajime. His body had no external injuries at all but his breath was weak. Beside the bed was Yue who sat on a small stool while laying her head on the bed after falling asleep.

It has been well over two weeks since they killed the Hydra. After Yue carried Hajime and entered the door they saw at the opposite end of the room, she was met with a skeleton on a throne.

From there, she learned of the true nature of their world and they were given one of the ancient magic, Creation Magic. After that meeting with one of the liberators, Yue and Hajime were teleported to this place where the former tended to Hajime day and night.

"Hajime...when are you waking...up?" Yue muttered in her sleep but it may be a coincidence or not, Hajime's left hand's finger twitched.

Then it continued, from his fingers, slowly his whole arm twitched. This caused Yue to wake up and see the movement.

"Ha-hajime, are you awake?!"

"Ugh," A low groan came out of his mouth. Slowly after, his eyes twitched before opening.

"Hajime—!" Yue, with tears in her eyes, hugged him tightly.

"Ooff– Yu-yue?!"

"S-sorry," Yue quickly got off and apologized.

"It's okay but where are we?" Hajime sat up after stretching his body for a bit. He looked around and saw a simple interior, clearly inside a house. He then turned toward Yue, "Thank you." He said as he wiped off her tears.

Akasha has filled him with some information and he also remembered using that reckless move causing him severe injuries, not only physical but also mental.

"We are at a separate place at the end of Orcus Great Labyrinth. I will explain it more clearly..."

Yue started telling him about what she heard from Orcus, one of the liberators. Hajime listened carefully to see if there are any differences from what he knows.

"...And that's all. It has also been over two weeks since that day."

"I see, thank you." Hajime smiled at Yue, feeling grateful. That last strike he did was a desperate move on his part. It was an attack that combined all elements in his arsenal to create a new element he dubbed 'Chaos'.

It's an extremely devastating force that puts a burden on both his physical and his mind. To use it, he needed to use all his mana reserves and remember his reserve is massive. It was one of the reasons why after releasing the attack, he collapsed immediately. The other reason was using that attack burdened his mind as well.

While his physical injuries can be healed through regeneration, the mental damage he took was more severe and not affected by his skill. Akasha also couldn't interfere as his mind was already wrecked and if it used any skill, it would burden his already severely injured body.

Which only left them to let him naturally heal, luckily, his injury while severe was not fatal as Akasha took some of the mental damage after taking over his body temporarily.

"Hajime...?"

"Hm? Oh, sorry, I got lost in thought." He chuckled. He then saw Yue seemingly wanting to ask something but holding herself back. "What's the matter? Tell me if something is wrong."

"That's..." Yue hesitated to ask. After all, the existence of Akasha which she saw seems to be a great secret of Hajime. "...Nothing."

Hajime stared at her for a few seconds before sighing, "...Is it about Akasha? Are you curious about 'her'?"

'Akasha? Her?' Yue thought. With a few moments of hesitation, she finally decided. "Yes, I asked her but she said to ask you."

'Was that so, A-chan?'

[Yes. Akasha has deemed it to be the most appropriate move.]

'Thank you.'

"Haaa, I can only tell you this, Akasha or as I'd like to call 'her' – A-chan is a skill I possess. As for how 'she' works, I'm sorry but even if I trust you, I can't tell you. It would only put us both in danger." Hajime said firmly. This was his bottom line, whether he trusts a person like Yue, he absolutely cannot tell more this.

This would continue until he has enough strength to protect himself and his loved ones from all types of dangers.

"Is that so...? It's alright, I understand." Yue smiled. Her feelings were complicated after hearing him. She was happy of course, as Hajime divulged some of his secrets to her, and heard him say he trusts her.

But she would be lying if she said she was not saddened and hurt after hearing that he cannot tell her any more than what he said. It was a blow to her pride and a reality check as well, she realized that she wasn't strong enough for him to tell her about such secrets fully.

"..." Hajime saw through her complicated emotions but didn't think about consoling her. He already did what he could and told her clearly. If he consoled her, it would have the opposite effect, it would be like him telling her she was weak directly. That would surely damage her more. "Haaa..."

'...Is that your way of consoling me? No need, I'm already clear about it.'

"Anyway, Yue, can you show me where Oscar Orcus stored his valuables?"

"Are you sure, aren't you still injured?" Yue asked with concern. After all, even now, the vitality in his body was weak.

"I'm okay, besides, I'm not planning on overexerting myself. I just want to see what artifacts or treasures we got." He smiled excitedly. His mind was already on the move about various ideas he wanted to do.

"Okay, then follow me." Yue nodded. She then helped Hajime off the bed carefully. With her guiding him carefully, they walked slowly.

After arriving at the storage room where various artifacts and materials were stored, Hajime's eyes sparkled in excitement like a child seeing a new toy.

"Oohh! This is a treasure trove!" He exclaimed. He carefully appraised the items inside and even saw a familiar-looking sword. It was an oversized sword reminiscent of the sword of a certain warrior.
