"Tiny cactus, do you think I work here? I do not even know that kids' name."
"Right. I should not have asked you about that." Xiao Mei Zhi was like a barfly lady. Raising a question that was unconnected to Doctor Gmeis. Without delaying her plan, she was now getting on to the direction of the girl.
Muckbuckle and Doctor Gmeis was also looking at the girl that Xiao Mei Zhi was making an effort to go near.
Xiao Mei Zhis' footsteps tapped against the dry soil that has limited grass. The girl did not mind her presence when she was standing beside her. She just can not let the girl accomplish nothing, she does not like to visualize what these girl would come to be when she matures. It will ripen like her.
The girl darted at her shadow at the bottom, "When evening recedes, you will be alone again." There was a sudden rage pumping up through her body. This girl had prompt her about what she has breathed through, it was another thing that she did not expect to be appearing since she reckoned that she could keep herself in the room like a prisoner.
She understood quite well enough to act as a proper young adult at the moment, "You are your own key of survival." She informed the girl. She was trying to make it less a pain in the head, since one isolated person was enough --stating herself.
'A minor girl should not be acting like this, she is still young. I even guessed that her age must be in between 9-13 years old.'
"What are you talking about? Who are you to get in my own business? You are just a nobody!" The girl squinted at Xiao Mei Zhi, she was trying to push her away and did some made up efforts as an excuse to let her stay on the so-called 'Limit Line'.
She froze. 'You are just a nobody!' Her breath whooshed out of her lungs like a deflating balloon. The girl was right, she was just a nobody but she would not let this girl be that 'Nobody' too and so she will put together a conclusion that will reflect the girl as a part of her life now.
"Doctor Gmeis!" Xiao Mei Zhi called out, which got the other youngsters looking at her direction.
In just three minutes, Doctor Gmeis got to them. Breathless. Of course, she was running. Xiao Mei Zhi gave her a scare.
"Yes-" Doctor Gmeis raised up a hand to her chest as she breaths deep before breathing out a long sigh. "Yes, what is the problem tiny cactus?" Doctor Gmeis eventually said the words out clearly.
"You and Doctor Frei wanted me to see how meaningful the world is, right?"
Doctor Gmeis nodded, "Yes. Any plans about it?"
"I need you to provide information about this girl and Doctor Freis permission. I want to take her with us."
"You mean," Doctor Gmeis stared at Xiao Mei Zhi and the girl without blinking. "You want to adopt her?" Xiao Mei Zhi then scanned the girls' feature. She has this turned up, tiny nose with a few freckles. A tired eyes with noticeable dark circles, that incorporated well with her long wavy lashes and messy choppy bob hair.
Thereupon surveying the girls outline she then told Doctor Gmeis, "Yes. Is there something wrong? I already asked you that I can do want I want here right? and you told me that I am a special guest. Now, I want her. So you better keep your word." Xiao Mei Zhi did not meant to be a mean looking person, she just wanted to let the kid learn from her based on experience and in return she can also learn something about herself through the girl.
The girl shook her head as she heard what Xiao Mei Zhi was saying at Doctor Gmeis. The girl was not sure how to catch up, her face said 'This is not happening'. For the girl, it was a nightmare and an illusion that it got trapped in.
Nausea got the girl engulfed. It made the girl dropped herself on the ground with her knees and hands touch the warm soil, while she emptied the contents of her stomach.
Doctor Gmeis then whispered at Xiao Mei Zhi, "She is just like you, but this kid is over dramatic. And I guess this is why you want to adopt her, huh?"
Xiao Mei Zhi did not replied back at Doctor Gmeis. She rather put up with spare time at the girl, "Good! Take that problem out, get that negativity out of your nasty system!"
Xiao Mei Zhi did hissed like a liable ignorant grown-up that even her words became intimidating but that was not a plus points for her. On the contrary it was a deduction. She may feel that she needed to save the girl, however, she can not even save herself from what she was now. Still, it would not be to late to start with a little change.
"Are you done?" Xiao Mei Zhi asked the girl who sitted back, and dragged the back of her left hand to wipe across her mouth. The girl glared at Xiao Mei Zhi, "You will regret later if you will adopt me. I will make your life miserable." The girl was acting like a missing daughter from a Chinese gangster family. It made Xiao Mei Zhi more enthusiastic about the girls' life.
"You can curse me inside your head," Xiao Mei Zhi told the girl and it would explain why her heart was thumping hastily in excitement.
"You do not know what you are dealing with." Xiao Mei Zhi chuckled as she listened to the girl. "I hope you are ready for what is coming."
It was Xiao Mei Zhis turn to squint at the girl, "I am always ready for anything. Including the people that are coming for me."
"Alright, it is time for us to take that girl inside the building. The other children are starting to get tired, some even left their playmates." Doctor Gmeis interrupted the harsh speech between Xiao Mei Zhi and the girl.
The girl suddenly tored down the right side of her skirt.
"I will tell the caretakers that you both pestered me to play," Xiao Mei Zhi examined the girl. It surely provided her thoughts a kicked-up wave of positive dust in the existence of her life path.
