"my God it's too cold and its summer. well let's get three inside." a voice said, a door closing can be heard "now let's get the fire burning to warm you fellas up." there is a distinct sound of logs crackling on a fire. some time passes and shrunak gains consciousness and looks around "Hello where am I?" he see's a coat made out of a black bears pelt , a hatchet on a stand and then a man the size of grizzly throwing logs onto the fire.

"oh you're finally awake laddie can I get ya anything, like a cup of water?" "yeah but I wanna know who my and my friends saviour is?" the saviour pours shrunak a cup of water " here ya go lad and the names ake leif and I'm a hunter from the north and I sell what I skin." shrunak takes sip of water. "do you ever encounter things like dragons, slimes and shriniks?" ake points over to his hatchet with engravings of spirals and dragons "that hatchet right there is the reason I'm alive, without the hatchet and my other weapons plus my skills I'd be dead." he grabs the hatchet of its stand and runs his fingers on the blade "is the hatchet like a family heirloom." "yes it is my great grandfather made it with his hands, passed to my fathers dad then him now me."

there is a knock at the door "excuse me have you seen an orc, human and a vampire around here." ake opens the door slightly to not make his three guests seen " no sorry lad this is the valley of ice I don't think they made it." " oh okay then good, fucking vampires and orcs coexisting with a human, can't stand it." ake closes the door. he walks over to shrunak "you're with a vampire geez and thats why they're mad cuz of your friend." he puts his hatchet on its stand "wait so you're not gonna kill us?" "oh course not killing or hating someone cuz of their a vampire or an orc, I've got a two cousins who are vampires." he hugs shrunak like he was his brother.

"well thank you for the time here sir." paige bows to ake "the pleasures all mine and hell if ya need a hunter just come back here." they all head off to the next town as ake heads back to his cabin preparing for the next hunt. "well lets hope this town doesn't find out." mark opens his umbrella and walks infront of the two "hey guys look up a shooting star." shrunak looks up close his hands and his eyes and wishes "huh that's neat." paige says gleefully "I never really understood wishing on stars seems childi-." the shooting star slowly gets closer and closer and hits mark leaving his body mangled "OH SHIT MARK ARE YOU OKAY!?" paige gasps and steps back in the horror. "he's fine paige don't worry." "shrun he just got hit by a meteor." the meteorite cracks open with a woman with long hair and a body in all black with cracks running through her body. "hello there miss, fucking got my side there." mark holds out his hand the woman doesn't seem to understand she grabs his wrists "I am Anastasia it is a pleasure to meet you."
