Three Plans Part 2

"Grandpa Han, you can start a sword battle with Zhu Ping." Gu Tan stood between them and spoke. On his right, Zhu Ping was holding a sword. On his left, Han Yang was also holding the sword.

"Village Chief, I don't mean to be rude but I have been using sword my entire life. He could get injured even if I don't use my internal energy." Han Yang couldn't help but stare at Gu Tan and spoke.

"Don't worry Grandpa Han, we can heal him. I want to show you something." Gu Tan shook his hands and turned at Zhu Ping.

"Remember what I told you before."

Zhu Ping smirked and said, "Don't worry, I have trained a lot for this."

Gu Tan nods his head and walks back. Han Yang and Zhu Ping stare at each other.

"Grandpa Han, don't worry about me and use your sword." Zhu Ping smiled and spoke when he saw Han Yang hesitating.

"Alright, don't blame me then!" Han Yang stomped his foot on the ground and ran towards Zhu Ping while pulling the sword above his head. As soon as he reached in front of Zhu Ping, he slashed his sword down.

Ding! Whoosh! Splash!

Zhu Ping held the sword in his left hand and stepped to the left side. He raised his sword to block Han Yang's attack but when the sword struck together, the sword dropped from his hand.

Seeing this, Han Yang couldn't help but put a smile on his face but before the sword could drop to the ground, Zhu Ping caught it with his right hand and slashed towards his stomach. Zhu Ping's sword rubbed against the edge of the sword until reached Han Yang's stomach and slashed.

Although a sword mark appeared on his skin, Han Yang didn't suffer much damage since the friction between swords decreased the power.

Getting this opportunity, Han Yang twisted his sword and slashed horizontally. Zhu Ping turned around and falls on his back. He raises his leg and kicks on Han Yang's wrist.

Thud!

The grips weaken and the sword falls next to him. Zhu Ping rolls back while Han Yang tries to get his sword back. But just when he bends, Zhu Ping's sword lands on his neck.

"I win, Grandpa Han!"

But, Han Yang swings his fist without even acknowledging him. Unfortunately, nothing happens. Zhu Ping was a little bit too far for Han Yang to reach. Only then, Han Yang releases something and raises his hands.

"Grandpa Han, living for a long time doesn't always mean you will have experience better than others. Yes, you have fought many people. You have trained with your sword. But, in truth, you never trained in the sword. You only trained with your sword and that was only for using internal energy."

"Your first strike was the most classic strike of swordsmanship. It's because whenever you fight the sword, your sword art's first strike heavily relies on that stance. But since you didn't have the internal energy, it was all for naught."

"Or, maybe not! Because of your physical strength dominance, you succeed in overpowering him and used the second stance which was also a normal horizontal cut. You did all that based on your instinct, not on your swordsmanship."

"And last, you let Zhu Ping get behind you instead of stopping him because your instinct told you that you could use internal energy to blast him away even if he is a few inches away from your body reach. Don't get me wrong! I am not telling you that there is anything wrong with your instinct."

"It's just when time changes, you must change as well. When you were small, you were never taught in the sword. But, I taught this Zhu Ping two years ago."

Clap!

"Now, how about we let Grandpa Tu fight against Ming Shen?" After explaining Han Yang, Gu Tan clapped and turned his head at Tu Shen and Ming Shen.

Hearing his words, Tu Shen and Ming Shen walked up to the place where Han Yang and Zhu Ping fought. As for Zhu Ping and Han Yang, they returned back to their original position. This time, Tu Shen and Ming Shen didn't speak.

"Now, Ming Shen will fight Grandpa Tu in the contest of marksmanship."

It was clear since both of them were holding the bow in their hands and a Quiver on their back.

Tu Shen turned his head at Gu Tan and asked "So, how are we going to test it? What are we going to shoot?"

"Each other?" Gu Tan answered making the face that says 'Isn't it obvious?'

Hearing his words, Tu Shen opened his mouth and spoke with a straight face "Village Chief, I know these are trained by you and have a lot of experience. Although I am no longer a teenager, my right hand is still strong."

Slap! Slap! Slap!

Gu Tan, Han Yang, Zhao Ming slapped their heads simultaneously. Gu Tan peeked a glance at Zhao Yin and found her expression. She was a little confused which made him sigh a breath of relief. He didn't want her to know about this.

"Grandpa Tu, if you are finished with your jokes, can you start?" Ming Shen couldn't help but tightened his finger on the arrow. He had already placed the arrow on the bow and even targeted Tu Shen.

"Boy, you can't haste these things. If you try to haste, you will come even before you can enjoy it properly…."

Bam!

Suddenly, a figure stood behind him and slapped his head. After that, Zhao Ming kept smashing his head until Tu Shen fell to the ground with a broken face. He didn't expect Tu Shen to say such a dirty joke in front of his granddaughter.

"Village Chief, we understand their capabilities. And, we are ashamed of our thoughts. Let's not drag this any longer and talk about your new plan." Han Yang walk in front of him and spoke.

Gu Tan nodded his head and walked back to the house. Everyone else followed him, leaving broken Tu Shen to the ground. Soon, a guard came and took him away alongside those remaining weapons.

After returning to his seat, Gu Tan spoke "My second plan is the renovation of the village. I want to completely change the houses position and agriculture positions in our village. We need to use this so that we can use the elemental veins that are beneath us to the full potential."

Hearing his words, Han Yang and Zhao Ming stared at each other and spoke.

"Village Chief, we have already told you. We don't have enough budget for this. And, if we want to change the houses of the villagers, it wouldn't be finished in a few days either. Where are we going to let villagers stay until then?"

Gu Tan nodded his head and said "I do have a plan for that. As for the budget, it is related to my third plan. Since I have a lot of paperwork to do today and also need to finish the third plan in a few upcoming days, I will be busy and I won't be able to communicate with others."

"So, I will explain here and now. Currently, we have two major plans. Lack of laws and lack of martial artists. So, I am going to give a task to my villagers. Tomorrow, every man in the village and those women who are willing to work hard will stay in the village and start moving things around."

"Every family has one man, so he will be tasked to move his belongings to a small tent. And, we will build these tents on a specific area where children and old people alongside a few martial artists will guard those tents."

"As for females in our village, they will be tasked to leave the village tomorrow and travel a few villages around us. Unlike us, they don't live in harmony so they have rules. And, I want these females to write down those rules and come back. They can take life in a specific village for a week."

"Of course, we will not send every female for this. Some will remain in the village to cook and manage the basic things in the village. This renovation will take around a week. And, I will draw everything you need to make and area to make those tonight."

"In a week, we will completely renovate our village. Now, it comes to the third plan. Without this plan, my first two plans will not work."

"I want to borrow Ten Thousand Spirit Stones from Yellow Stone Village." Gu Tan's words froze the expression on Han Yang and Zhao Ming. They immediately shook their heads and said.

"No, they won't give us that much. Although they have two Spirit Veins, they are bigger than us. And, they won't let us grow stronger when they know we have the elemental veins."

Gu Tan smirked at them and spoke "That's why we are going to take a little bit of risk. Ten percent of elemental stones we gather every year will be sent to them for the next ten years. This will be our way to compensate them."
