Leaving the Village
The next morning,
"Ahem! Good morning, Village Chief!"
A person opened the door and walked in. He was none other than Gu Chen. As soon as he came in, he saw his son sleeping on the futon and using Zhao Yin as the side pillow. For a moment, he couldn't speak but he quickly called him up.
He didn't want others to see his son sleeping like this. He couldn't help but wonder.
'Is he going to sleep like this from now on?'
Although Zhu Ping and Ming Shen will be gone, Zhao Yin and Zhao Xin were still his secretaries. So, he couldn't help but have such thoughts.
"Hmm! Dad….."
Gu Tan opened his eyes and saw his dad staring at him with a proud. Instantly, he understood why he was giving such expression. He slowly removed Zhao Yin's hands and stood up.

"It's going to be noon soon. You need to freshen up and eat something. After that, we will leave. The carriage is ready outside." Gu Chen spoke while passing a tiffin box to him. Then, he walked out. He didn't want the children to see him once they woke up.

"Yin, wake up!" After waking up, she shook her twin sister and tried to wake her up.
Gu Tan also went near Ming Shen and Zhu Ping, waking them up. After waking them up, he went out. At the back of the house, there was a massive cylinder made out of iron. He walked up to the cylinder and turned the tap.
After washing his face, he went back and soon Zhao Xin reached there. Inside the house, Ming Shen and Zhu Ping rolled up the futon, and then they also went out to wash their face.
"Woah! Woah! What are you doing?" After Gu Tan walked in, he started dissembling the tiffin box. But while he was doing that, Zhao Yin started changing clothes. She took off her pajamas. And, she was only wearing a t-shirt and panty inside.
"What? I am just changing." Zhao Yin rolled her eyes and put on the blue dress. Her dress spreads from the top to bottom.
Gu Tan couldn't help but feel speechless. Although he knew she was only doing this because only he was inside the room, it still feels awkward. He couldn't help but turn his head at the door. Fortunately, it was locked.
After changing, she walked out and Zhao Xin walked in. She also closed the door and started changing. He didn't hate this. But, if you want to show something, at least grow those and show them.
Gu Tan finally gave up. He knows they will simply stop doing this when they start growing up. He quickly served the food on different plates. He found his dad actually brought food for all five of them.
Quickly, Zhu Ping and Ming Shen arrived alongside Zhao Yin. And, finally, they started having lunch without any breakfast.
"So, how long are you going to stay in Yellow Stone Village?" Zhu Ping chews the chicken wings and speaks.
"I don't know. I might only stay there for one or two days. But, just reaching there in the carriage will take more than a day. So, I might be away from the village for four or five days." Gu Tan answered while eating rice with his chopstick.
"Alright! I will reach the first stage before you come." Zhu Ping proudly spoke and laughed.
Gu Tan also smiled and they continued eating their meals. After the meal, they finally left the house and Gu Tan found his dad waiting for him at the center of the village. But, there were few more people waiting for him.
Gu Tan was surprised to see the horse tied to the carriage. Horses are quite rare in the village, so they usually use Ox.
"Village Chief, is it really okay for you two to go alone?" Han Yang walked in front of Gu Tan and asked with slight tension on his face.
"Don't worry, Grandpa Han! Father's strength has improved a lot. And, I need only one person for the succession of my plan. If I bring more, there will be a problem. By the way, how's the evacuation going on?" Gu Tan asked.
Han Yang nodded his head and said "Yes, the people from other villages are leaving. But, Village Chief, they might hold a grudge against us for this."
Hearing his words, Gu Tan smiled and said "They won't hold a grudge. In fact, they will be grateful for what we did."
Han Yang didn't understand but he didn't continue to ask. It was still not noon and probably the best time to leave. Since it is considered bad to leave home at noon. So, Gu Tan and Gu Chen bid farewell to the village and left.
"Mother didn't come?" Gu Tan stared at his father and asked while sitting at the carriage. The carriage had two seats inside and the doors were locked. Outside the carriage, there was a man controlling the horse.
"No, it was already a hassle to convince her. Boy, my back is hurting a lot. I will sleep in this entire journey." Gu Chen frankly revealed how he convinced his wife and fell asleep.
Gu Tan speechlessly stared at his father's frankness.
'Hush! I can't expect to be treated as a child, not now at least.'
