Chapter 35 The Way of Wills
Aura Vision - The ability to perceive normally invisible Life Energy of others, distinguishing between hostile enemies and friendly allies, allowing the user to view the emotions Of those around them, and the amount of life a being has.
"Wow, now this skill is even more ridiculous than the two of them separately. I can now see the distinct life signatures of living being which means nothing can sneak up on me. I can also see who is openly or secretly hostile towards me so I won't be tricked by anyone with malicious intentions. I can even see how much health someone has so I'll be able to heal them before they die, this will be a big help if my familia and I are ever in a large battle", I say lost in though as to the new capabilities of aura vision.

With the newly created Aura Vision skill active, I can intuitively see all the creatures in the immediate two mile radius around me. I can even see all of the monster cores dropped by the monsters killed by my initial aura release. I slowly count all the cores spread throughout the forest floor; five, ten, twenty, forty, sixty-four, I successfully locate all sixty-four monster cores.
Immediately after locating the last core I instinctively know how I can retrieve them all in one go. I can feel that in order to retrieve the cores all I have to do is will them to move towards me, it appears that now that I have more control over my aura I can influence certain things that are inside of it. I wonder if I become more proficient in using my aura if I will be able to influence living beings with my will.
(You have figured it out, the more you learn to control and use your abilities the more you can do with them. If you can master using your will you can control everything that is touched by your aura. It will come to a point where you will even be able to kill beings just by willing it, you won't even need to lift a finger)
"That is just monstrous, to think that I will be able to do that if I can master my will", I exclaim in amazement.
(Indeed, but it wont be an easy thing to learn, most beings can not even feel their will much less control it. It will take many life and death battles in order for you to master your will. Although at your current level of proficiency, you can begin to emit your killing intent towards other beings. Depending on the rank of the intended being, your results will vary. You can go from momentarily stunning the other being or you could make them faint)
"Really, I can make other beings feel my killing intent", I ask shocked.
(With some practice of course, once you master your ability to control your will you can even use your killing intent to in fact kill)
"That is insane, I didn't think it was possible to kill with just the intent to do it. I have never heard of that when I was a human adventurer, but then again I was still fairly new to adventuring and never really met anyone that was of a high rank", I say thinking back to my former life.
(That is why I said it wont be easy and most beings are unable to use their wills for anything other than driving them in life or overcoming great adversity)
"I see, that does make sense", I mutter.
While Neph and I were discussing my future control of my abilities, all sixty-four monster cores made their way towards my camp one after the other. Due to my control over my will being so low it took around half an hour before the sixty fourth core finally made it to camp.
After the last core successfully made it I sat down and began to absorb all of the cores since all the monster in the immediate area are dead and the ones that weren't outright killed have fled for their lives.
Finally the last core has been absorbed and I open up my status window in order to take a look at where I can put my free attribute points.

Seeing that I still need a little under nine hundred attribute points in order to reach the pinnacle of D Rank and be able to advance to C Rank I decide to keep my one hundred and fourteen free attribute points in case I need them if I am ever in a pinch. Although looking at my status screen and the measly stat modifiers from my gear I decide that its time for me to get new gear.

After deciding that I need to get new gear I decide to contact Damian through multifaceted communication in order to see if he would be able to make me some new gear that will actually provide me with some benefits.
"Hey Damian, it's me, would you be able to make me some new equipment? My current items are not providing me with a significant boost in my stats anymore since I have been increasing my strength so quickly", I ask in a hopeful tone of voice.
"Oh James its you, of course I can make you some new equipment. I have actually already begun to work on it knowing that your rate of progression out matches what you currently have. Though it will still take me some time to complete it", Damian replies apologetically.
"You have already started? That's great! I knew you would be the best person to lead the blacksmithing guild in the Familia", I reply back excitedly.
"You honor me with your praise, it is only natural that you will need better equipment, you are the successor to our one and only god", Damian replies back matter of factly.
"Well, since you have already begun to work on new equipment for me then I shall leave you to it", I reply back.
"Leave it to me, by the way, how are things on the third floor? We dwarves have never been to any other floor and so I am curious as to what it is like", Damian replies curiously.
"It is pretty spectacular, so far it appears to be one giant forest with an enormous golden tree illuminating the entire floor with its golden radiance. Even more astounding is that the law of space is being affected by the golden trees radiance making the floor countless times bigger than it originally appears to be", I explain in excitement.
"That sounds wondrous, and to think that a tree would be able to manipulate the laws of space with nothing but its light", Damian relies back in wonder.
"It really is amazing, better still, I will be able to learn more about the law of space and increase my proficiency in it", I reply back with excitement.
"You can become more proficient in the Mystical Law of Space?! I thought that you could only use space magic due to your system"? Damian replies back in confusion and reverence.
"That is how it started out, but since I have been on the third floor I have ended up gaining new skills that have opened up the paths of my growth and one of those paths is learning the laws that make up our world", I reply back proudly.
"That is absolutely amazing, I can't wait to see your new advances in person. I can imagine Paul and Golaium's reactions now", Damian laughs.
"I hadn't even thought of that, they might just fall over from shock", I say while laughing so hard I have to hold my sides.
After finally controlling my laughter, I say goodbye to Damian so he can continue on with the work he is doing and so he can also continue to make my new equipment. Just the thought of having a full set of dwarven made equipment gets me excited.
Back in my human life, growing up I had read tons of books on different hero's and their weapons and equipment and it was said that dwarven made equipment was the rarest of the rare. Only a handful of hero's through out the centuries manages to get a piece of dwarven made equipment and yet I'm going to have a full set made especially for me. It is said that dwarven made equipment is magic in nature and so it will end up growing stronger with its wielder.
With that being the case once Damian finishes the set that he is making I shouldn't ever need to have new gear made again. Well unless some how it gets destroyed somehow, but that's had to believe since dwarven made items are incredibly had to break.
