Chapter 34 Over Powered

(Most high ranked entities have these skills, due to them having large mana reserves thanks to their high rank. Although it is unheard of, an individual bellow A Rank having these it is not impossible for you to have them thanks to lack of capacity in mana and your system that I now oversee)

"I will be able to see everything on any given floor with mana sense and I will be able to oppress every living creature. At this point there is not anything that can stand against me", I reply in a dejected tone.

(You do not have to be so upset about it, yes, it is basically you just going around in god mode, but you can always choose not to use the skills. They are not passive skill so you can decide if and when you even want to use them)

"I guess you are right, I do not have to use them if I do not want to", I reply after thinking it over.

After coming to terms with my two new god level skills, I decide to give it a try here on the third floor since it seems like the law of space is being manipulated by the Elder Tree. I active Mana Sense and notice my awareness spread out with me being in the center; it appears that my awareness is in the shape of a sphere allowing me to see everything around me as well as what is both above and below me.

I see all the monsters immediately around me next to the lake as well as a few monsters close to the bottom of the lake itself.

"This is crazy, I can see every single monster around us, even those that are in the dark depths of the lake floor", I exclaim in disbelief.

(Of course, no living creature bellow A Rank will be able to hide from your mana sense)

"So monsters above A Rank will be able to sneak up on me still", I ask curiously

(For now, as you get stronger and increase your rank and the strength of your soul you will be able to detect those above A Rank and those with divinity. Right now since you are using only your mana you are only able to locate monsters and beings A Rank and under)

"Oh ok, I understand now. So I still have to be cautious since I won't know if there is someone or something above A Rank near me", I say nodding my head.

(Well you will not have to worry about meeting anything over A Rank until you get higher in the floors. There won't be anything that stronger on these lower floors)

"Oh, well that is reassuring", I sigh relaxing again.

I decide to deactivate mana sense before it spreads out any further and spoiling what is living further into the forest. I really do not want to have my adventure spoiled. After mana sense has been deactivated, I retain my normal range of awareness; I notice that my awareness skills range has increased substantially. My awareness used to only be a couple of hundred feet but now it appears that due to my mana sense my awareness has increased to around a mile in diameter.

Now it is time to try out Mana Aura. I activate Mana Aura and my aura is immediately unleashed without restraint. Every Monster and being on the third floor is immediately able to feel my aura no matter where they are and what rank they are.

I immediately deactivate Mana Aura after I notice the intensity of my aura and some of the weaker monsters closest to me die of fear just from my aura being unleashed.

"Holy Shit, I never thought that I would kill monsters by just releasing my magic aura", I exclaim as I see notice after notice flashing past my vision.

(It is to be expected, you have endless mana so of course your aura would be extremely oppressive. The weak D Rank monsters within half a mile of you were the closest to you and so they got the brunt of your aura)

"That makes sense, I will have to be very careful in the future when I want to use this skill, I don't want to accidentally kill any of my familia members", I exclaim with apprehension.

(You will not have to worry about harming your familia members with your aura; they are immune to it since they are under your protection as the familia head)

"Whew, well that's a relief, I wouldn't know what I'd do if I accidentally killed one of them with my aura", I sigh in relief.

(Naturally, all of your familia members are protected from all of your skills; you will never have to worry about friendly fire in a battle. They are given your protection, which encompasses immunity from all of your skill damages)

"That is amazing! I never would have thought that they would be protected from me like that", I say with gratitude and amazement.

"Now that I have killed all these monsters in different places I will have to search the area in order to find all their cores so they wont go to waste", I mutter disheartened.

(I can make a skill that will be able to help you with that and it will be able to help you from now on when it comes to killing monsters and collecting their cores and whatever items they may have dropped)

"Seriously", I exclaim in surprise.

(For sure, I have the perfect skill in mind to help you out)

Ruler of Matter – The Ruler of Matter unique skill allows the user to control all matter that they have knowledge of. The more knowledge the user has over what they are trying to control the stronger their control will become. Current aspects for matter that can be controlled, Mana, Will (Aura), Spacial Magic.

"Holy Shit, this skill is way to over powered, and here I thought mana sense and mana aura were over powered", I exclaim stupefied.

(It is true that it is a truly powerful skill but you will have to be able to understand an aspect of matter in order for you to be able to have a portion of control over it. You wont be able to become an all powerful mage with just a thought or something like that. Currently you have a small portion of control over mana, will (otherwise known as aura) and spacial magic)

"I see, I guess I will have a lot of studying to do if I want to be able to use all the different forms of matter", I sigh somewhat disheartened that I can not become an all powerful mage at the drop of a hat.

Now that I have the unique skill Ruler of Matter, I will be able to have more control of my aura and my mana. I should be able to control the intensity of my aura so I can have it active at all times but make it seem like I am a weak goblin versus killing everything around me.

I activate mana aura and ruler of matter simultaneously, I feel my aura permeate the surrounding area but limit to roughly two miles. After my aura has covered everything within a two mile radius I activate mana sense and combine it with my out stretched aura. The second my mana sense combined with my aura I am able to see everything within the two mile radius unlike before where my mana sense continued to spread out covering almost the entire floor and not being able to distinctively identify everything it touched.

"What the hell", I exclaim.

"Neph what was that"? I ask in confusion.

(I am not sure, it appears that the original animus system superseded me and combined two of your skills to make an even more powerful one)

"It took control even though you are supposed to be the one controlling the animus system", I say in shock.

(That seems to be the case, I will look into this and see if I can figure out what happened, I never expected something like this to happen)

"Alright, in the mean time can you give me a break down of this new skill", I ask.

Aura Vision - The ability to perceive normally invisible Life Energy of others, distinguishing between hostile enemies and friendly allies, allowing the user to view the emotions Of those around them, and the amount of life a being has.

"Wow, now this skill is even more ridiculous than the two of them separately. I can now see the distinct life signatures of living being which means nothing can sneak up on me. I can also see who is openly or secretly hostile towards me so I won't be tricked by anyone with malicious intentions. I can even see how much health someone has so I'll be able to heal them before they die, this will be a big help if my familia and I are ever in a large battle", I say lost in though as to the new capabilities of aura vision.
