He soon wakes up in a body of a 10-year old kid named Kim Jinbo, who was known to be a prodigy in business from a very wealthy family. Fifth, all of the songs from his previous life was not found in this world. And lastly and probably the most shocking thing among the rest, dating between idols were allowed. Is this JayB's chance to date his ex-girlfriend from his previous world who was also part of one of the hottest girl groups there? Oh and did I mention that he was best friends with 8 other prodigies in their respective fields who together would make the ultimate K-pop group in this world's history? Join JayB as he meets various artists and idols from his previous life who were now starting off together in his journey to being a k-pop superstar. AN and disclaimer: I wrote this for my bias. Please don't be offended or please don't get mad if I ship people or there will be cases that I would be using the artist's songs. I do not own any of the songs nor do I want to affect the lives of these artists. This is purely fictional and is not meant to harm anyone. Other than that, please enjoy!

"I'm here. Sorry for being a bit late." I apologized to Sungjae as I entered the café that we promised to meet at.

I just got back 2 days ago from our debut concert in Tokyo, Japan. The last 2 weeks were really life changing. We barely got enough sleep but it's just amazing how rewarding it felt. The fans were great. They welcomed us warmly in each city that we visited. Beijing, Hong Kong, Macau and Taipei were really great. The fans did not disappoint us. Osaka and Tokyo were also wild when we had our concert. We didn't have to sing so much because everyone was singing our song instead of fan chanting. It was just amazing.

Now that I'm back in Seoul, I'm going to start finalizing the songs that I was working on. Of course, it was also going to be hectic for me since I'm also promoting my drama as well. It's probably about time I appear on some shows to help with the promotions since I'm done with the promotions for Alpha's Japanese and Chinese albums.

"It's fine. The crew aren't here yet. I also texted my wife that the crew for the show aren't here yet. So she's taking her time in a salon somewhere. She's actually with her friend right now." He explained.

I chuckled. "Don't think I forgot that you owe me one. I really just wanted to relax today. Instead, I'm in another set with you, being the third wheel for you and your wife."

He laughed. "No you're not. In fact, you actually know my wife. Besides, her friend is really excited to see who her blind is."

"Whatever. Let's just get on with it." I told him as I called a waiter to order some drinks.

After a few minutes, the crew for We Got Married arrived with their cameras. They handled the paperwork for using the café for ourselves and paying the owner to rent the café for 2 hours. Wow… so it's almost as if it was scripted.

"So we should have a blind date signal for you." The director said.

"I'm sorry, what?" I tried to confirm. The term was really unfamiliar to me since it's my first blind date.

He chuckled. "A blind date signal. It's a signal that you give when you find the woman who was matched with you interesting or appealing. If you don't like it, then you also give a different signal. The good thing is only you and Sungjae-ssi knows."

Ah…

I see…

That's actually a good thing to know. I guess I learned something new today.

So after deciding what signal I was going to give, the crew went on to film a scene with me and Sungjae talking about it. It was scripted so we actually had to act all natural about it. The agreement is that when I find my date interesting, I would take a sip on my Iced Americano. And if I don't, I'd stir my drink with my straw.

Pretty simple, right?

When we were done, the director left us alone for a while and it was our chance to catch up a little. The director did warn us though that he would spontaneously shoot so we had to be careful.

"Tell me something, do you actually like your wife or is it all virtual for you." I asked.

He sighed. "To be honest with you, I haven't dated anyone before so this is all new to me. I'm afraid of disappointing my fans if they find out that I was in a relationship."

"You're not answering my question. Do you like her? Or not?" I asked again.

He looked around to see if anyone was listening. When he saw that no one was listening he leaned closer to me. "I really really like her a lot, JayB-ya."

"Then your fans would definitely want that for you. REAL fans would always go for their idol's happiness and not just their happiness." I told him in a melancholic tone.

He chuckled before patting my shoulder. "Even if they did approve, I believe that my wife's best friend won't be too happy about it."

"Really? Who's her best friend?" I asked out of curiosity.

I mean…

Who wouldn't want their best friend to be happy?

That's some jerk!

The director then interrupted us. "They're here! Quiet at the set! Boys, you know what to do. We're rolling in 3…"

He patted me again. "You're going to find out anyway. Oh and remember… we're being filmed so... Be careful as to what you say and do."

"2…"

I chuckled. I know, dude. I'm an idol too. You don't need to remind me about it.

We decided to play along and talk as if we were waiting for his virtual wife and my supposed blind date.

"1…"

As soon as the camera started rolling, Sungjae was glancing at the door from time to time as we conversed about how excited he was for me to have this blind date with him. After a few seconds, the café door opened and two beautiful and familiar women walked inside.

Oh no…

Please don't tell me it's them…

Sungjae then called out to her while waving at her to catch her attention. "Sooyoung-ah! Over here!"

As soon as she saw me her smile slowly faded away.

Why you…

Sungjae…

You have a lot of explaining to do.

I kept my smile as the two women approached us. We exchanged our greetings and asked them to sit down.

"JayB-ya… this is my wife, your best friend, Park Sooyoung from Red Velvet." He said.

Yeah… no kidding.

Even in this world, you'd end up being virtually married. Talk about fate.

"I didn't know actually. We were both so busy with our promotions that we didn't get to catch up." I told them honestly.

She chuckled. "And he's not the type to watch any television shows or the news about idols. So he's usually left behind in that aspect."

"For someone who writes songs that are way advanced in genre, you're pretty much behind with all the news." Sungjae joked.

Everyone laughed.

I smiled awkwardly. "Yeah. I usually just get holed up in my room while writing music so that's why I tend to miss out on a lot of things."

They laughed again.

"Right. So let me introduce you to your blind date." Sooyoung changed the topic.

"This is Son Seungwan, She's one of my members." She then continued.

She stood up and reached out her hand. "Please. Call me Wendy."

"Nice to meet you Wendy. I'm Kim Jinbo. But you can call me JayB." I grabbed her hand to shake it and smile at her.

As soon as we sat down, I immediately took a huge sip on my Iced Americano which made Sungjae smirk a little.

"What? What's up?" Sooyoung seemed to catch on that something was up.

"Oh nothing. I hope you don't mind. We already ordered ahead of you." Sungjae diverted the conversation.

"Oh Yes. Please don't hesitate to order. It's on me today." I told them.

Sungjae and Wendy turned to me with a surprised expression. Sooyoung wasn't surprised at all. In fact she even giggled. The café we were in was one of Yo Chul-hyung's and my café. It was a partnership business between me and him.

What?

I didn't pick the place.

Sungjae did.

But he doesn't know.

"Alright. We'll take you on that offer." Sooyoung said.

They started ordering and Wendy went for a Latte while Sooyoung ordered an Iced Americano.

We soon started asking about how they were doing as a group. They also shared to us that the album that I gave them was a huge hit. Even Sungjae was surprised that I was the one who wrote their first album. The conversation was filled with laughter and fun. It was as if we already knew each other for the longest time.

"Oh right. What's your blind date signal?" Sungjae asked.

The director told us that we were going to reveal each other's signal before we get out of the café and get the date officially started. Wendy was too shy to answer so Joy went ahead and did the talking for her.

She chuckled. "You see. We both didn't know who we were bringing, right? It was actually a surprise for both sides as to who we were bringing."

"Right." Sungjae confirmed.

"Now I didn't even know that Sungjae-oppa would bring you, JayB-oppa. Like seriously. I had no clue at all." She said.

I chuckled. "Right. Even I'm surprised."

Sooyoung nodded before she continued. "So when we saw you it was really a surprise. You see, Wendy-"

"Ya! Park Sooyoung! Don't! I'm too shy! I don't think I can do this." Wendy suddenly stopped Sooyoung.

I chuckled. "Alright. Why don't you tell me then?"

"I just wanted to know what your blind date signal is." Sungjae said which made us laugh.

Wendy then answered to stop Sooyoung from speaking. "If find you appealing or attractive, I'd order a cappuccino."

"Ooh… So you don't find him appealing. I see." Sungjae said.

Sooyoung laughed. "Wait. Let her finished. Even I'm confused. But somehow I kind of know where she's getting at."

"How does that work?" Sungjae asked in confusion.

"Let her finish then." I told them.

She then breathed in deeply. "If I didn't find you attractive, I would have chosen to order Iced Tea."

Now all of us were confused.

So why did she order latte?

"But you're order…" Sungjae trailed off.

Sooyoung snapped her fingers. "Right! Now I get it! I get it! It's bec-"

Wendy then covered her mouth and smiled wryly at me. "Please don't mind her."

I suddenly surprised her by speaking English. "Please. These two don't understand English, so why don't you tell me what you have to say. It's going to be our secret."

Her eyes widened. "Wow! You're really fluent! Are you really Korean?"

I shook my head. "My mom's American and I grew up in the States before moving to Korea. You're from Toronto, right?"

She covered her mouth because she was surprised. "Right! How do you know that?"

"Oh, I googled Joy's members when you guys debuted. I'm happy to speak to someone who's actually fluent in English." I answered her.

"Me too! Wow! I can't believe this! I like you even more now!" She said before she covered her mouth again.

Like me even more now?

"So you're saying that you already like me?" I joked.

She blushed a little. "I have a huge crush on you. I'm a fan of Alpha actually AND you are my bias."

This was heading differently than where I expected it to be. If it was in the previous world then we would just be passing by without talking to each other. Wendy hates my guts in the previous world. Since she was the main vocals, I placed so much pressure on her whenever I would produce a song for them. It's not that I hate her or anything, it's just that I wanted to bring out the best version of her. I guess she thought that I didn't like her and was just bullying her.

Well…

It's great that I'm off to a fresh start with her.

"That's kind of you. Thank you so much. I really appreciate that." I gave her a smile.

Joy then changed the topic. "Hey! you don't have to be like that with us. It's unfair. Anyway, What's your blind date signal?"

"Me? Well, if I find my date interesting, I'd sip on my drink. If don't then I'd stir it with my straw." I replied.

Joy started thinking. "Really? I didn't notice. So what did you do?"

I chuckled. "You just have to find out for yourself later on once this airs. OR… why don't we go to our next stop to find out?"

Both of them giggled. Wendy spoke up. "Mysterious guys are my type. Let's go and find out then."

"Right? Let's go." Sooyoung said.

We headed for my car which I lent to Sungjae for the day. He was even shocked that I offered him to drive my Lexus. Sooyoung and he were at the front while Wendy and I were at the back. We were heading for one of the places that I really love. Although I've already gone there before, I never really got to enjoy with a bigger crowd like this.

This is just the first stop. The second stop was in a different location. We plan to bring the ladies there. And finally, we'll stop at one of Yo Chul-hyung's restaurant for dinner. I already asked for his permission and rented me the whole restaurant.

"It's my first time going to Lotte World this early." Wendy said.

Sooyoung nodded. "Right. Plus, it's spring now so there are a lot of couples going there."

"You don't have to worry about that. We won't have to wait in line." I told them.

Sooyoung then turned to me. "No way… did you…"

"No. Of course not. We just bought express passes for Lotte World so we don't need to wait in line." I replied.

She must have thought that I rented the entire amusement park.

Pssh… Of course not.

I rented THE ENTIRE aquarium. The next stop after our trip in the amusement park.

Not the amusement park. Okay?

What?

I wanted to give my date the best experience ever. It's the least I could do, right?

"Well, I'm just excited for today. It's been a dream to date someone during spring. The couples that are dating all around makes me envy them so much." Wendy said.

I gave her a big smile. "I'm glad that I get to be that person for you."

Both Sooyoung and Sungjae grunted and scoffed.

"Stop hitting on her." Sooyoung said.

Sungjae patted himself as he cringed. "You're giving me shivers. Aigoo."

Wendy chuckled. "Don't mind them. They're not used to it. They are the cutest couple on WGM right now, but they're also the most awkward couple."

"Hey!" They both yelled.

With that, we rode towards Lotte World with laughter.
