Sometime around 3000 BCE

It has been few years since Diana left. Lily and I have been working on our project and researching magic.

I have been researching focuses while Lily has been studying alchemy. We have been studying our fields and discussing them with each other.

Alchemy is an interesting thing. It is a really broad subject, but the best way to describe it is making something permanent using magic. Potions are one branch of alchemy , even forging I do is alchemy because I use magic while doing it, hell cooking using magic is technically alchemy.

Lily has been experiencing in what she can accomplish using plants and animals that were long extinct in the future.

In last year or two we noticed that area were we live in is turning into a desert. While this isn't surprising, since we know that this will be a desert in the future.

What is surprising is that something strange is happening to ley line that flows under the Nile.

It is like it is dying.

We tried to contact sorcerer supreme, but it seems that he is reaching his end and is searching for a successor.

So now we were standing on a hill overlooking the Nile. "We have to find out what is happening, if it continues like this it could damage the lay lines permanently" I say to Lily.

Lily nods and says " It's best to start at the beginning of the Nile and follow it down." and we did just that.

After we were in territory of the Egypt for a while we both felt something. "There is something here, but it is hidden." I say.

"Yes it feels like notice-me-not ward." Lily says.

"Let's try to stay hidden, we don't know if anyone is there." As I say that I put an illusions over us that makes us invisible ,as well as directing my telepathy to suggest people not to think to much about space we are in if thay can feel the illusion.

As we fly through the zone of the ward we stop in shock. There are seven pyramids set in shape of a pyramid pointing from Nile. It looks like an arrow pointing form Nile.

"What the?" I say.

"I know that there were a lot of pyramids and buildings hidden under the wards, but this is unexpected." Lily says.

"I would guess that this had something to do with our Lay line issues."

"Let's get closer" I nod at that, as we fly closer we can notice that there are hieroglyphs all over the pyramids.

"Lily it will take us a lot of time to analyse this. I will try to find any humans and read their minds while you translate it." She nods at that.

It didn't take me long to find people around, but that's is not only thing I found. Undead, a lot of them.

After finding the humans I start slowly going through their minds, luckily they don't seem to be trained in mind arts. That particular magical field isn't well known yet.

After I am done I fly back to Lily in a hurry.

"Lily we need to find a way to reverse what they did fast."

"What did you find out?" Lily asks.

"They killed a mutant, I think it is a mutant. He seems to have a power for self transfiguration or well form of it he could control his body perfect change it however he wants, and he could do it to whatever he is touching. What is scary is that hi seems to be able to influence even people's minds that way. They are trying to turn it in some kind of super zombie they would control, and they are using mana to make it more powerful."

After I said that only thing Lily had to add is "Oo f***."

"Did you analyse the runes? I don't think we have the time to stop it they can awake it any time, it is already done powering, but they are waiting for some priest to come to wake it up." I say

"Mostly, well I know enough to make something we could use, but we will have to wait for the ritual to be done. After it is done the thing will stay connected to the ley line. We can use that connection to trap it." Lily explains.

"OK lets go home, and start working we don't have much time. Priest will be here in three days."

...

We were close to finishing the ward stone that would trap the creature when we felt it. Powerful wave of magic passed through the space we were in.

"They are awakening it, we have to go fast." Lily says.

We finished final touch on the ward and fly towards the pyramids.

As we got closer we could hear someones amplified voice say.

"WAKE UP APOCALYPSE, AND CONQUER FOR US!" I blink at that "Well if that isn't supervillan phrase I will eat my shoes."

"Klaus, one of us will have fight that thing, so that other can set up the ward." Lily says. "I will do it, you know wards better. Just hurry that thing has so much mana, it is kinda scary." I say

(tired POV)

Klaus speed up towards Apocalypse, and as he got close he grabbed it with his telekinesis and throw it into the desert.

Moment Klaus grabbed it Apocalypse turned its head towards him, you could see shock on blue skinned gients face, but it didn't have time to react before being thrown.

As Apocalypse started to right it self Klaus lended in front of it ,and lended again, and again, and again, and ten more times. There were fourteen Exect same copies of Klaus surrounding Apocalypse.

As they lended telekinetic attacks started to hold Apocalypse down while sand started to be shaped into drills around him.

"ENOUGH!!" As Apocalypse yelled telekinetic attack was pushed back and sand around him turned into metal spikes that pieces all Illusions of Klaus around him.

"You are powerfully, join me. You can become one of my horseman, and rule alongside me!" Apocalypse voice seems to come from all directions like send was spreading it.

Klaus had to fight off Telepathic attack that smashed into his mind.

"I thought you were supposed to be controlled by those mages!" Klaus yelled back as he started creating psychic weapons ready to shoot at Apocalypse.

Apocalypse scoffed "Me, great Apocalypse controlled by those weakling. No I let them believe they were in control, as they did my biding. Now I have so much power that nothing can stand in my way. Will you join me?"

"No, sorry I hear that ruling the world requires a lot of paperwork, and I never could stand paperwork!" as Klaus said that he shoots his telekinetic weapons at Apocalypse.

Apocalypse swiped his head and blocked the flying weapons "If you don't want to join me willingly, I will just have to crush your will." As he says that desert seems to raise, transform into metal and flies at Klaus.

"Oh s**t" Klaus tries to transfigure sand under his feet into a shield but it seems to reject him. Not having anywhere to fly off because of being surrounded by the attack Klaus creates telekinetic shield around himself.

As attacks keep coming at his shield, blood starts flowing from Klauses eyes, nose and ears.

As Apocalypse keep attacking, Klaus had to put all his concentration on keeping the shields up both telekinetic one and Telepathic one.

After what seems as eternity Klauses shield starts creaking ,when it breaks Klaus screams as his body is pierced by spikes of metal.

Klaus is held by metal spikes piercing his body, his head limply hanging down. Apocalypse walked towards him.

"Don't worry I will fix you soon, you will be better than ever." Apocalypse says as he is about to put his hand on Klaus.

"I don't think so!" Klaus yells as he puts all his power in telekinetic attacks that lunches Apocalypse backwards.

He flies after Apocalypse, attacking him with everything he got. Telekinetic weapons fly at Apocalypse, but even as they hit him, he doesn't seem to feel anything.

Apocalypse stands up again "I see you still have a fight in you so be it." As Apocalypse is about to attack again he is engulfed in blue runes, he starts screaming as his body floats up and is dragged towards the pyramids.

Just as Apocalypse is being dragged away Klaus falls face first into sand.

(Lily POV)

As Klaus flies off towards that thing I wait a bit for him to drag it away.

I fly towards the pyramid were the priest is standing.

"Who are you, how dare you attack us! Send the undead at the woman." priest yells at top of his lungs.

"Oh shut up!" I yell as I fight my way through the inferi. I launch flame combined with dark element as well as pure attacks of destruction magic.

Not long ago I have found a way to use just dark element without combining it with other elements, what I got from that is destruction magic. It is magic that destroys everything it touches.

As I make my way towards the top of the pyramid priest launches an wind blade on me. I use earth to create a shield ,and then I attack with destruction magic, he tries to shield but mu attack fly destroye his shield and next one hit him directly in head killing him.

As I am setting up the ward stone I could hear explosion in the distance. "Please Klaus hold on."

When I am done what looks like fishing line flies into the desert. I fly away form the pyramids as fast as I can.

I can see the creature being dragged into the pyramid ,and then rest of the pyramids seem to fold around main one and create one big pyramid.

"Now to find Klaus." I can feel our connection and follow it towards him.

AN: And done. That was one long chapter. I hope you liked my take on Apocalypse, this won't be his last appearance. I created new origins for Apocalypse as well as new set of power, well more or less. I hope the fight wasn't to bad, this is my first time writing one. Also don't be to hard on Klaus this was his first time fighting someone for real, most of his fights until now were against magical creatures or Lily.
