Chapter Six

Eleven hours later. Xan said “look outside.”

Vilandra said “the suns coming up.”

The originals and Joshua ran outside as Jax and Thalia stood up. Thalia said “why do I have blood all over me?”

Joshua said “they don’t remember.”

Klaus said “they will, it’ll just take a minute.”

Jax looked at Thalia and said “what did you do?”

Joshua said “I think Jax remembers.”

Thalia said “oh my god, what did I do?”

Klaus said “there’s Thalia’s memory.”

Thalia grabbed Klaus’s shirt and said “where’s Allison and who are you?”

“I am Nicklaus but you can call me Klaus, now will you let me go?”

Thalia let go of his shirt and said “sorry.”

Klaus said “It’s ok.”

Thalia leaned in, sniffed him, and said “you’re a werewolf and a vampire.”

Klaus said “correct but no time for chit chat.” They ran back to Allison.

Vilandra said “it’s too late she’s dead.”

Thalia said “I have to try” and walked over to Allison. She grabbed a knife, cut her hand, and dropped some of her blood in Allison’s mouth. Allison’s wounds started to heal and then she stood up.

Allison said “what happened?”

Kivar said “how is that possible she was dead.”

Valkar said “their blood might be strong enough to bring someone back to life, my mother needs to know about this. We’ll meet you on Lycanthria later today.”

Jax said “wait are you guys saying our blood can heal anything even death.”

Kol said “yes, now the two of you need to go pack so we can leave.”

Thalia said “where are we going?”

Rebecca said “Lycanthria the planet for Lycanthropes or more commonly known as were-wolfs.”

Jax said “okay let’s go.” They went back to the hotel and packed quickly.

Thalia said “hurry up Jax.”

Jax said “I’m coming.” Thalia opened the door to see Aslan about to knock.

Thalia said “Aslan what are you doing here?”

Aslan said “I came to see if I could go with you to Lycanthria.”

Jax said “yes but why are you going to Lycanthria.”

“The party” Aslan said.

Thalia said “what party?”

Aslan “Klaus will tell you when you get back to the ship. I want to talk to Jax if that’s okay.”

Jax said “its fine we can walk there and talk on the way. Thalia you can go ahead and super speed there.”

Thalia said “thanks” and speed away. Jax and Aslan walked to the elevator, got in, went to the lobby, checked out and left.

As they headed for town square Jax said “so what did you want to talk to me about?”

Aslan said “there’s a rumor going around that you can bring back the dead, is it true?”

Jax said “we think so.”

“That’s cool, oh how did your date with Vilandra go?”

Jax said “I turned into a wolf and almost killed her.”

“Not the best first date but I’m sure Lonnie will want to try the date again.”

“I hope so and are there any other people like us. People who are hybrids.” “Well I would classify you and Thalia as hybrids. A more accurate term might be chimera but to answer your question. There’s maybe fifteen other hybrids and six of them are originals. They’re the original hybrids. You’ve actually met three of them.”

Jax said “I have? Who were the ones I met.”

Aslan said “Klaus is one, half vampire, half werewolf. Vilandra is one, half kanay, half Atrian. The last one you met was Xan and he’s actually a Tri-bred. Part Merman, part Atrian, part Spell-master.”

Jax said “what’s an Atrian and what’s a spellmaster?”

Aslan said “a spell-master is like a witch but they differ. A witch creates magic in their body and can use elements to strengthen their spells. While a spell-master derives power from objects or the elements. Spell-masters who derive power from the element are known as benders. A bender’s power is similar to that of a kanay or mermaid. They can literally bend the elements to their will and they can also do magic. Benders are very powerful. Now an Atrian is a little easier to explain. When Atrian are born or created their body created an extra bone. The bone was named the chip and its where Atrians get their power. Most Atrians have five or six abilities and their abilities are all over the place. Some Atrians can heal people, others can create shields, or have telekinesis.”

Jax said “okay, can I ask you another question?”

“Go for it.”

“Do you know how to cast a spell” Jax said, “I know that the spell has to rhyme but do I have to do anything else.”

Aslan said “All witches have a signature gesture it helps them with their spells.”

Jax said “okay” stopped walking and turned to face a wall. Aslan stopped as well and said “we are we stopping?”

Jax said “you’ll know in a second. I need to see Thalia’s night so show me without a fright” then pulled his finger in and placed his thumb on the rest of his finger with it aiming at the wall. A blue light went from Jax’s hand to the wall. It began to play Thalia’s entire night like a movie but when he heard the name Balcoin-Hale he got the same marks she did. Jax said “I’ve seen enough” and it stopped showing Thalia’s night. Jax put his hand on Aslan’s neck.

Aslan said “what are you doing?”

Jax said “I don’t want you to get whiplash” and started run while holding onto Aslan. When they got to the space ship Jax let go of Aslan and quickly made his way to Thalia. Jax said "you followed me last night."

Thalia turned around and said "how do you know that?"

Jax said “I cast a spell to see what happened last night.”

“Why?”

Jax said “to see how much damage we did.”

Klaus said "don't fight."

Thalia said "stay out of this Klaus."

Rebecca said "we need to go guys." Thalia started to walk to the spaceship when Jax shot lazier's near Thalia's head.

Thalia turned back around and said "I know you didn't shoot those laziers at me."

Jax said "I'm sorry it was a mistake just like your face" as he walked past Thalia.

Thalia turned to Jax, pointed her finger, spins her wrist, said "you think we're in the same spell bracket let’s see you cast a spell in a straight-jacket" and pointed her finger at Jax. A green light came from her finger and hit Jax. A straight jacket appeared on him and he turned around.

Thalia said "now that's funny."

Jax said "Thalia get me out of this right now."

Thalia said "no thanks" and walked onto the ship.

Klaus said "don't worry Jax we'll figure out a way to get you out of this" as they walked onto the ship.

Thalia sat down next to Xan and said "who are you?"

"I'm Xan."

Thalia sniffed him and said “what are you?”

Xan said “they call me a tri-bred.”

Thalia said “what’s that?”

“I’m part merman, part Atrian, and part Spell-master.”

Thalia said “I read about spell-masters, they sound awesome. I honestly can’t wait until wait to Maitre des sorts. The planet looks beautiful.”

Xan said “I feel the exact same way. Most people feel the opposite because there aren’t big fancy hotels or any skyscrapers.”

“I love that there isn’t big fancy hotel or skyscrapers.”

“I feel the exact same way.”

Thalia said “okay I have a question for you.”

Xan said “what’s the question?”

“I read that the planet is split up into six pieces, what does that mean?”

Xan said “okay, say I cut the planet in half. Now I take one half of the planet and cut it into for pieces. All the same size. Now I take the other half and cut out a piece the same size as the other four. We now have six pieces. The smaller pieces each represent an element. Earth, air, water, fire, and spirit. Benders go to their specific element piece to learn how to control their powers. Now the big piece is where most spell-masters live but spell-masters can live anywhere. Same goes for benders, once they learn how to control their abilities, they can go back to the big piece.”

Thalia said “so when you visit the planet where do you go first.”

Xan said “I only answer that if you answer my question.”

Thalia said “what’s the question?”

“Why did you follow Jax last night and don’t lie. I can always tell when you’re lying.”

“You just met me” Thalia said

“You’re right I did just meet you but I already know we’re gonna be best friends. So be honest.”

Thalia said “okay fine. If I'm being completely honest, I'm not really sure. I think I have a hard time trusting people.”

Xan said "I doubt that."

"Why do you say that?"

Xan said "because we just met and you told me all of that."

Thalia smiled and said "there's something about, you make me feel like I can trust you."

"Thanks."

Thalia said “so why are you going to Lycanthria.”

“There's a party to celebrate our new found unity” Xan said.

Thalia said “wait that’s why we’re having the party?”

Xan said “yeah, no told you.”

I was supposed to ask Klaus but I guess forgot. So is your wife meeting you on Lycanthria?”

“How did you know I’m married?”

Thalia said “you do realize you’re wearing a wedding ring.”

“Yes I do.”

"What's your wife's name?"

"Cora her name is Cora."

“Well I can’t wait to meet her.”

Klaus said "we're about to land."

Thalia said "already I didn't even realize we took off."

Xan said "I didn’t either."

Klaus walked past them and said "we're here." As Thalia and xan walked out of the ship a wolf ran past them. Klaus said "son come her." The wolf turned around and started walking to Klaus. The wolf started to change into a human boy.

He stood up and said "what's up dad?"

Klaus said “I need you to take these guys to the castle.”

"Okay I will dad, follow me everyone." They started to walk to the castle.

Jax said "what's your name?"

The boy said "I'm Ashton."

Thalia said "were you bitten or born a werewolf."

"I was born and Dragon Flame used magic to make me a teenager."

Jax said “why did she do that.”

Ashton said “when I was a baby I started to change into a wolf, I was going to die. Dragon Flame saved me by turning me into a teenager.”

Thalia said “okay.” Thalia looked at Jax and said “wow they got the straight jacket off.”

Jax said “screw you Thalia.”

Vilandra grabbed Jax’s hand and said “come on Jax let’s go.”

Thalia said “bye. Shut up Xan.”

Xan said “I didn’t say anything.”

They all walked the rest of the way in silence. When they got to the castle a servant showed they to their room. Jax and Thalia’s rooms where right next to each other. The rest of the day was pretty normal. They had to get a dress and suit for the party. Thalia and Xan talked for a while. They became fast friends and Joshua was a little jealous. Jax and Vilandra went on a do over date. Vilandra always said it was the best date she ever had. Dragon Flame, Carter, and Valkar arrived just in time for dinner. The rest of the night was pretty normal but Jax and Thalia didn’t tallk at all.
