Chapter 3

Hiccup Pov:

 We don't have schools up here in the mountains. So before we could go to middle school as a group. As in Hunter in grade 8, He was down a year to make it easier for us, Hannah and Emma in grade 6, and Everyone else in grade 7. Emma moved up a year due to her grades and needing to be in the same school. Everybody was up to those grade levels when Jake asked Gobber. "When can we go to Public Schools. To make friends and learn how to interact."

 This had caught Gobber offguard to which he thought before answering. "I will have to talk to the other adults and Stoick when I get a chance." He left after he said that to talk to the parents. When he came back he responded saying. "They agreed, upon one condition though! You need to come up with aliases so you will not be recognized. The only ones who have to change their last name are Jake, Hunter, and Emma since they are beleived to be dead and those are common names."

 "Alright!" We all cheered and started thinking of names. After our discussion we each came up with a list of at least 3 names. Mine were Harry Hanson, Henry Hand, and Harold Harvey. Hunter, Jake, and Emma had decided to change their first names so they wouldn't feel guilty.

 Their names were as follows: Hunter: Hudson Olaf, Jake: Jackson Olaf, And Emma kept her's since she was still young and the least in danger. Snotlout choose Scott Jorgen, a common name. Hannah came up with a list to match mine, Hailey Hanson, Hailey Hand, and Hailey Harvey. She kept Hailey since that was the only name she could come up with.

 Astrid was the only one who had not shared so we all thought about it. In the end we finally had an alias for her to use. "How about Athena Hercules." I said as a joke before saying the actual seggestion. "NO, thats a bad name!" She protested.

 "It was a joke, the real one was Athena Hamilton. What do you think?" Jake says or should I call him Jackson now? Astrid thinks for a second before responding. "It is ok, though I don't like the Athena part, how about Aaron."

 "Perfect." Stoick says from behind the group surprising us. "I talked to an old friend that runs a school that is sponsered by my company. It is in Berk so you can walk there from the home I have for you guys on the edge of the city. It is a house that is brick built though has new siding, Jackson as we call him now will be fixing it up if he wants. Also there is a secret hallway for emergency exits only, no partys. It has everything you would need and the emrgency exit also has everything you need at the end also with a way to block off intruders."

 "Ok, but when did you plan this?" Hunter asks him. "Well when I heard that you guys wanted to interact with people your age I talked to my old friend Sven. He runs Berk middle and my other friend Olaf runs Berk high. I told them that I found some orphans and was wondering if they would take them as students. They said yes since I was asking a favor, as for the house. It was the place that the first person to establish Berk, Bork the Bold lived. Though he left it for his family and lived in the Cheifhouse to keep it safe for when his descendants needed it. The president Neelson has already forged records and just need the names you pick to file stuff under certain things." Stoick says heartily.

 "Wait, how do you know the president?" Snotlout asks. "Well, I may work for him and he would be returning a favor. Also you need to make backstories Gobber approves for you for when you attend. You are not allowed to mention anything about this place though as it is supposed to be secret. That is all, so Hiccup and Hannah please finish picking your names and all of you start your backstories!" He finished happily.

 After that we all murmured about what happened. When we were done we all went to Hunter, Jake, and Emma's house. Once we got inside we went to the fireplace and sat down. Before we started talking though Samuel came in and said. "Here are the blueprints of the house. Though it does not include the secret escape route, mind that." And he left almost immediatly after taking in the house. He had never been in here before.

 "So I think that my alias will be Harry Hanson, is that ok with you Hannah?" I ask to which she nods to me. "So backstories, we should probably base it off of what we do best. For me I would say that I grew up working in carpentry and architecture where I grew up. For now how does Western North Carolina In the U.S. sound for where we grew up and we transfered here?" Jake asks the group to which we discuss for a bit before saying it is good.

 Hunter came up with that he was not as good as his brother so he did the online stuff. Computer management and programming, for the business he and his brother grew up working for. Even though under age work was prohibited that say it was their previous guardians who let them work. Emma, well she does not have much of a backstory only that she trained in martial arts with her family since that was the only way she would do it. She did it for protection but we won't add that.

 Snotlout's backstory is he grew up in a lumber yard in Vermont U.S.. He wanted to help out his family so he began moving lumber around the yard. I am honestly surprised because normally he bullys me, to which Astrid always stops him.

 Astrids backstory is that her previous adopted parents were martial artists, Versed in all combats. So she ended up learning those skills when she was young in Alaska U.S. I think that most are choosing places in the U.S. since Jake and his family came from there. Along with the fact that he had been suggesting those places.

 For Hannah's she grew up with me on an island far west alone. But then they were found by the vessel that everyone else was on going to Berk. An they helped them get more versed in normal practices. The only person there was the man that taught Henry Blacksmithing. We only knew him as Night.

 And with that we all had our backstories and it was getting late. So Jackson went and grabbed some paper from his room and we sat down and wrote our backstoies.
