The people who stopped Charlus were his Professors.

"What do you want professors?"

"We would like to apologize for taking your time last week Mr Potter. We were wrong to inconvenience you. Have a great day."

The professors wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Their ego didn't let them be seen publicly apologizing to a student.

"Does that mean I will no longer receive detentions? Thank you, Professors."

Charlus practically shouted out his last comment.

"Yes Mr Potter," Professor Mason replied.

"Thanks a lot, Professor! I forgive you for doubting that I cheated. I must have gotten a 100 right?"

By then, all the onlookers were looking at Charlus and the Professors. They heard all of Charlus' statements, yet they didn't see the Professors refute any of them.

"Yes, Mr Potter. Will that be all, or do you have more questions?"

Professor Mason ground her teeth.

"That's all Professor. I was just confirming. And also, I won't be coming back to the academy next semester. I will have to go to Mr Flamel's house again. I will be coming after the winter vacation."

Charlus ran off after lightly telling his last word to the Professor. The professors were now the centre of attraction in the entire pavement.

Charlus left for the Manor for summer. He was looking forward to 2 months of relaxing. He knew that once he went to the Flamel Manor, he would not have as much as an hour for relaxation.

When he got back, he found out that Sirius had finally met up with the Rowes. He had even invited them to the Manor. He also found out from Harry that they didn't expect Sirius to be this rich. According to them, the Manor was worth close to a million euros.

Sirius decided not to take Charlus and Harry to the 'Order of the Phoenix Retreat/Get-together'. He felt that they would have a more fun time at Saint-Jean-de-Luv.

They did have a fun time. Sirius tried to get a television set once. The company sent a person to set it up. The person was very confused when the television burst into flames in front of him though. Sirius had to erase his memory. He had the option to lessen the magic in the Manor but he decided not to. The ward needed the magic to function.

Over the course of the summer, Sirius was able to lessen the animosity from Camille. He became good friends with her. Charlus, meanwhile, decided to enroll in a horse riding academy. Charlus was very lucky - the Polo competition started in the second half of the year. This allowed Charlus to participate. It made him relieved. He didn't want to be the reason his team couldn't participate in the Polo competition.

Charlus outperformed most of the members of the academy. He stopped going to the academy and started teaching Harry how to ride instead. Harry had gotten his horse almost a year ago and Charlus finally

remembered to teach him.

In a few weeks, Harry got the hang of it. Since Harry was having more frequent classes than Charlus, he was learning faster. Charlus still appreciated Harry though.

Charlus also played football regularly. He became a defender. He was very good at passing, and fast too, so he was very good at it. He didn't fall when his opponents pushed him so that was a plus too.

Harry was an attacker. He was nimble and slipped through the opponents with his small frame. He frequently got injured though, and he got scolded by Sirius for that. Football was a rough sport though, so it was inevitable that Harry would be injured.

Charlus became more adept at controlling his powers. He no longer needed a bracelet to stop his powers. He could even stop the quick regeneration of his small wounds. He would never be able to stop the regeneration of fatal wounds though. His body always prioritised his survival. He was excited to go to the Flamel Mansion to show off his efforts and the yields he got. He remembered that his teacher promised to teach him a method to control his emotions that would be crucial in the future. He was also told that he would be spending more time on the practical aspects of his subjects - especially duelling.

1st September 1989 | Black Manor | 9 AM

Charlus was waiting on the front porch for someone to arrive. That someone appeared. A complete black figure appeared and dissipated into the air. In its place was an amulet. Charlus picked up the amulet.

"Bye Harry. Bye Sirius. See you in a few months. Enjoy."

Charlus looked at the engraving on the amulet and read it out loud.

"The pursuit of magic is an eternal one."

Charlus disappeared with a pop sound.
