ten // hoseok

Hoseok still hadn't quite figured out how Jae Hwa had been lucky enough to find him. Was it just pure coincidence, or was he being set up by someone? He was drowned in his own thoughts and no one were there to help him up from the ocean of endless questions that were swirling through his head.

He knew the boys wouldn't ask Jae Hwa to talk to him. It wasn't much like them. He also knew Jae Hwa weren't the type to stick her nose up in others business without thought or reason, or was she? Hoseok didn't know her good enough to know what type of person she really was. She didn't seem like that type though.

He needed to be more careful around her. He knew what she was capable of doing, and he didn't have enough self control to stop her. He had to find out more about her, but how? He couldn't just ask her. It would be too obvious. He had to find another way.

Hoseok snapped out of his thoughts when the sound of his favorite song blasted out through the room, hitting him like bullet shots. His heart stopped for a second. He had forgotten about everything. He knew he wasn't the most liked person in his family at the moment and this did for sure not make it any better.

He hurriedly grabbed his phone and swiped to right, accepting the call.He could feel his heart race faster than the light and his legs get all jelly. He closed his eyes, taking a deep breath.

"Hoseok,"a voice whispered. His eyes shot open. That was not what he had expected. He was waiting for the dark husky voice of his father's assistant to call him young master, to tell him his father wanted to speak to him, to let him know how much of a burden he was for the family. Not this.

"H-hello?"he asked confused. He heard the person on the other side of the line breathe heavily. "It's jimin," the person stated.

Hoseok nodded to himself due to the fact that he already knew the voice belonged to his friend.

"I need to be quick. If Jin finds out I called you I won't live for long," he joked adding a chuckle. Hoseok on the other hand didn't find it funny at all.

"Jae Hwa got into some trouble again. I don't know how, but she was found wounded near the library. Jin told me not to tell you, but I thought you should know," he said fast, but slow enough for Hoseok to understand.

He hung up, leaning his back against the wall of his apartment. She always found a way to make him worry, didn't she? He was fighting the urge to run over there right now, knowing that Jin would bring her to his apartment. He knew she was in safe hands, but how did any of that matter if they weren't his?

He grabbed his jacket and ran out of the door and down the street. Jin's apartment wasn't far from Hoseok's so it didn't take him long before he was standing in front of Jin's luxury of apartment complex. It looked like one of those dream places you would see in magazines and in dramas.

He inserted the code he had gotten from Jin the time he got drunk and had to carry him home and pushed the door open. He couldn't believe he still had the same code. Maybe Jin was his friend, but that didn't automatically make him smart.

Hoseok knew he wasn't supposed to be there. He couldn't stay at home knowing Jae Hwa were at Jin's house. The blood that were pumping though his veins were boiling at the thought of the two of them together. Hoseok knew he was selfish, but he wanted her to stay by his side. He wanted to be the one to hold her at times like these.

He shook his head. He didn't care enough about this girl to ruin his friendship with Jin. He couldn't end it all like this. He remembered the promise they all had made to never let a girl get between them. Was she really worth more than a life long friendship?

Hoseok turned around walking out of the building. He wasn't going to sacrifice all he had for a girl he barely knew. He didn't know why, but he felt uneasy. He was doing the right thing, or at least he thought he was so why would he feel uneasy?

He sighed as he walked down the road to his home. He was yet again left alone to drown in his endless thoughts of this girl he didn't know, and the fact that he didn't know how to handle it was even worse.
