eleven // hoseok

Hoseok woke up to the cold air creeping up on him, and all he wanted was to drag the blanket over his head, ignoring all his duties and responsibilities, but he knew by experience that it wouldn't solve anything.

He groaned as his phone buzzed beside him. It felt like he closed his eyes just a few seconds ago, but much to his frustration it was already morning and it was time for him to get ready for school.

Hoseok had promised himself to pretend as if nothing had happened between him and Jin, even though he felt the urge to punch him. His fits were itching and he felt his blood boil whenever he was around, but he had to endure it. It was his best friend after all. They had been through so much together. It would be a shame if they were to give up on their hopelessly good friendship.

Hoseok couldn't let go of Jin. That would be the worst mistake of his life.

"Hyung!" Jungkook called happily, as he saw Hoseok approach their table. Jungkook jumped out of his seat and attacked Hoseok with the tightest hug he had ever received. Hoseok wrapped his arms around his dongsaeng, smiling widely. "Jungkook."

The younger one let go of his hyung, allowing him to sit down by the table with the rest of the boys. Hoseok sent Jin an honest smile as their eyes met. Jin quickly returned the gesture, his eyes squinting shut in the process. Hoseok chuckled to himself.

"I have missed us all being together like this," Jungkook said smiling to his hyungs. They all nodded in agreement. Hoseok had to admit, it felt quite nice.

"Let's hang out after school like old times," Taehyung suggested. They all nodded, knowing where and when to meet up. "Let's invite, Jae Hwa," Jimin cheered happily.

Hoseok held his breath at the sound of her name. It had been a while since he'd hear anyone say it out loud. It was strange, but oddly familiar.

"Let's do that," Namjoon said smiling. Jimin clapped his hands together in satisfaction. "I can't wait. This is going to be fun," Taehyung stated, smiling cheekily.
