Banquet hall.

Whole banquet hall was decorated with lilies and lavender, lavish chandeliers hung on the ceiling with a stage in the centre which was encircled by grey draped tables. Each table contained a name plate, which indicates the name of guest it was reserved for.

Red wine, fruit wine, iced tea, and different types of juices were presented to guests. Classic French and Chinese dishes were served, which included walnut shrimp, selection of French cheese, coquilles st-jacques, mousse, cake's etc.

Ladies, adorned in branded jewelry and dresses, conversed with each other about luxury goods and gentlemen wearing formal suits discussed their businesses.

Main table of the hall was filled with people, sitting on the main chair was a hearty old man wearing a red tang suit, he looked elevated and solemn. Old man Su has been recuperating lately, thus he hasn't attended any social events in last two years, much less celebrated his birthday. After two years, he was now celebrating his 70th birthday.

Sitting around him were members of Su family. On his left were his son and daughter-in-law and on his right were his grandchildren. Sitting beside Mrs Su was Su Xi and her father, who was old man Su's nephew.

From time to time, guests visited the main table to wish old man Su. Sitting on his right, his granddaughter Su Lan was wearing a knee length white embroidered gown. Her skin was pale white and with white colours on her, she looked like a fairy. With her caramel eyes looking down, she is fiddling with her mobile.

"Why is she still not here yet?" Asked old man Su, voice carrying impatience.

"Grandpa, she will be here in few minutes. Just wait a little more" Su Lan placed her phone in clutch with helpless look. Her grandfather was behaving like a child who was waiting for his parents to take him out to play.

"Aish! Our old man love's Lilian more than us. He was not this eager when I went to visit him last night." Teased Su Yan while talking to Su Lan.

Su Yan wss a young man in mid twenties, with natural light caramel eyes and handsome face. Wearing a burgundy suit, he looked like a dream guy of countless girls.

"Humph! what do you know?!!" Snorted old man Su when he heard.

"She should have arrived earlier, she is well aware how much grandfather likes her." interjected Su Xi with a sweet and gentle smile. Hypocrisy blatantly displayed in her words.

"Oh! and why were you not there when we entered the hall? I thought since you were so filial to grandpa, you would definitely be first to welcome him." Su Lan taunted.

"Sister Lan, I was talking with planning manager to see if everything was ready. I am sorry if you were waiting for me"

"Who knows if it's another excuse." muttered Su Lan as she rolled her eyes. She is well aware if she argues with her now, everyone will get irritated. Not wanting to ruin joyous occasion, she simply ignored her.

Seeing this Su Xi gritted her teeth and looked at everyone else, but everybody was doing their own things, even her father was sipping wine as if he heard nothing.

It was always like this, whenever Su Lan taunts and insults her everyone would just take it as her being outspoken and straightforward. And if she says something like that, she will become mean and cold hearted person without patience and respect.

Even her own father doesn't say anything, he lives without any responsibility, just spending his days with different model or actress everyday. He just spends his whole day as if he had no ambition and oblivious to the fact that he was the only son of Su family's first branch. Now everyone thinks that Su Lan is the granddaughter of the eldest family branch. But the truth is that her own biological grandfather was the eldest son, not the nominal grandfather, Su Chiyu.

If not for her father being so incompetent and not protecting her rights, she would never have taken a step to betray the family interests.

Even that distant relative of Han family, which has little to no relationship with Su family can be treated as treasure eveytime she visits, but her own self respect is stomped under everyone's feet.

Now that she is considered unimportant and discarding in everyone's eyes they can't blame her for the mishaps that will happen in the future. 

Su Lan ignored Su Xi's malice filled eyes and checked time on her mobile. It was almost time for opening speech yet Lilian has yet to enter the hall. When she called, they was already at front gateway.so she stood up intending to go out and see what was taking them long.

She just turned around when she saw Lilian entering the banquet hall.

Dressed in tight fitting off-shoulder smokey tulle full-length dress, Han Li stepped into the hall. As she walked she attracted everyone's attention. The hems of the dress touched the floor and as she walked, split opened up to show her smooth straight legs. Her wavy hair lay loosely on her back.

Wearing blood red lipstick and light smokey eye makeup with red sapphire necklace. Han Li looked magnificent and dazzling.

Two koi fish tattoos, size of half finger, were drawn on both sides just beneath her clavicles. The red and pink colour of the fish on her skin makes them more attractive.

Just like an enchantress, eyes carrying apathy, She ignored murmur beside her and made her way towards middle of the hall.

Behind her Li Yushen also entered the hall, wearing a blue suit. He attracted quite a lot of girls but simply ignored voices surrounding him and headed straight toward side of the hall.

As Li Yushen often appears in public as assistant of IG CEO, a lot of people wishes to connect with him, thus he went to the side immediately after he appeared so as not to be surrounded.
