A scene at Jade Garden Restaurant

Azrael and the two girls got off the carriage and looked at the three-storey building in front of him. The building has a simple yet grand plaque on the upper part of its big door. Big characters were written on it, 'Jade Garden Restaurant'.

Azrael looked at it.

"Jade Garden, huh."

After a few moments, a middle-aged man that looked like a waiter approached them, to be exact he approached Lian.

"Young miss Lian and Young miss Tihana, we are glad to see you here again." The waiter welcomed Lian.

Azrael's eyes looked at the waiter with interest for a moment.

"Thank you for welcoming us, Unor."

"No, no, Miss Lian, it was the owner's order to welcome and treat you as VIP of this restaurant." He then looked at Azrael, "By the way Miss Lian and Miss Tihana may I know this young man." He asked.

"Oh, he is our close friend Azrael."

Unor's eyes became sharper in just a moment before returning his amiable eyes. No one notices the change except Azrael.

"I see! A close friend. Since this young man is a close friend of Miss Lian and Miss Tihana, let me welcome you personally. And from now on, if you eat in this restaurant I will welcome and treat you as our VIP."

"Is that so? Then let me thank you in advance." He then smiled slightly.

Maxwell, who is hiding from a few tens of meters away, furrowed his brows after personally seeing how they treat Lian. He also knew who this waiter was. Although he may look like a waiter, he is, in fact, a Qi liquification stage cultivator, a guard hired by the owner of the Jade Garden Restaurant before they arrived in this city. This is also the reason why no one ever tried to cause trouble for them.

Maxwell and Reona along with Lian have eaten here a few times and although the waiter would act like this everytime he could only attribute it as giving face to him as a qi liquification stage cultivator and a patriarch of one the influential families within the city. However, now seeing Unor acting like this in front of Lian despite his strength is quite strange. With Unor's strength, he didn't need to flatter a junior even if he or she comes from an influential family here in this city. It's indeed weird.

As he pondered, Azrael and the two girls along with the three guards entered the restaurant. They walked towards the third floor.

Inside a spacious dining area with luxurious tables and chairs aligned. And based on the bearing of the people eating this place one would be able to discern that they came from a prestigious family even if they are not as influential as the three most powerful families. This proves how grand the reputation the Jade Garden Restaurant had built in these last few months.

The people inside turned their heads towards them. Not only because of Lian but also because of the three guards.

Discussions resounded in the restaurant.

"Hey aren't those three powerful guards of the Rose family?"

"Yeah, but why are they here? Are they here to guard Miss Lian?"

"Maybe because of what happened earlier. They are on guard."

"Now that you remind me, even now it still gives me a chill remembering that phenomenon."

"More importantly isn't that young man that saves her in the forest according to the rumor. He is quite good-looking." Said a girl.

"Y-yes. And it's not a rumor, it came from her mouth."

There were also some young males who looked at them with jealousy.

At this moment a fine-looking man who is about 20 years old and a sharp-eyed girl with fierce beauty who is about the same age as Lian and Tihana approach them.

"Isn't that Julius Greenhill and Riana Greenhill?"

"Looks like there will be something interesting going to happen."

Julius stopped at their front.

"Good day Miss Lian and Miss Tihana." He greeted while completely ignoring Azrael.

Lian nodded, "Good day."

Tihana nodded meekly.

Julius didn't mind this distant attitude because he was used to it.

Lian led Azrael and Tihana towards a dining table. Julius on the other hand followed them and stood in front of their table.

The people watched him as their eyes glowed with interest.

"Miss Lian, would you like to introduce this young man?" At this moment Julius looked at Azrael.

Lian glanced at him before saying, "His name is Azrael, an honored guest of our Rose family."

"Is that so?"

At this moment Riana opened her mouth, "Brother Julius if you don't know that young man is the 'savior' of Lian." Her statement has a hint of sarcasm.

Lian sensed the sarcasm of the statement, her brows furrowed.

"Ohhhhh. Are you sure about that, Riana?"

"Of course, it came from Lian's mouth."

"Miss Lian, are you sure he is the one who saved you?"

"Are you saying I'm lying?" Lian said as her frown grew deeper.

"Please don't misunderstand me, Miss Lian. I know with your great character you will not lie and spread wrong rumors." Julius immediately clarifies.

"Then, what are you trying to say?"

Julius smiled and looked at Azrael with contempt.

"I'm just confused because I can't sense any cultivation from this man. I'm sure not only me, but most of us, and even you Miss Lian should also know this fact, right? Then how can he save you, 5th Qi Refining from danger? "

"The fact that he saved us during that time proves he is strong. If we can't sense his cultivation it's only because his cultivation is far higher than us."

He is delighted by what he just said. He thinks he is a true genius but he also expected that Lian would suspect Azrael.

But to his disappointment, Lian's face became colder, and looked at him.

"So you are accusing Azrael?" She said coldly.

Julius' body trembled, he knew that if Lian decided to attack him, he wouldn't do a thing.

Contrary to him, Riana smirked and said in a provoking tone."To think that you, the most beautiful and talented in this city, is easy to fool. Your talent is wasted on a fool like you. A trash like him saved you? Only a fool would believe that hehehe."

"You can insult me but you can't insult him." She said coldly.

Riana's boy trembled but she still gritted her teeth and dropped a sentence that made Lian's face gloomier.

"You are still defending him? Could it be that he has dirt on you?"

Riana is always jealous of Lian, she has the better looks and talents and is much more popular than her. Right now is the right time to ruin her dignity in public.

The people in the scene looked at her with wide-open eyes. Even her brother Julius couldn't believe what his sister had just said.

"Stop saying nonsense!" Julius scolded her.

"Hmmmph."

"I apologize for what my sister said. She didn't mean it." Julius apologized, he knows that her sister said that because of jealousy, she wants to ruin Lian's face in public.

Lian ignored him and looked at them coldly.

"But to erase our doubt, I would like to challenge and see the strength of your savior." He said sarcastically.

"That's right Miss Lian let Young master Julius test this man so we can see if he is just deceiving you."

"Yeah, young master Julius is right."

Said by some youths in the crowd, these youths are, of course, cronies of Julius.

Lian looked at them, causing them to shut their mouths.

Azrael listened to them on the sideline with amusement. He looked at these two ignorant siblings.

On the other hand, Lian became even colder.

Julius looked at Azrael and said.

"Are you going to accept my challenge?"

Azrael's mouth curled up.

"Ohhh, you are challenging me? Then let me ask you, are you willing to lose some teeth?"

"Lose some teeth?" Julius asked in confusion.

"Yes, something like this."

**Pa!**

A crisp sound resounded.

Then,

"Arrghhh!"

Julius who was lying on the floor before anyone knew it while holding his face with a red palm imprint on it screamed in pain. His teeth in front are missing as blood trickled from his gums.

After a moment five white small objects fall on the floor. These are the teeth of Julius, they were flung in the air for a good moment after Azrael slapped him.

The people looked at Azrael who was already standing before anyone had noticed.

Even the three guards with them looked at him with dumbfounded faces. They have common thoughts in their mind and that is [Too fast].

Azrael looked at Riana before walking towards her.

"W-what are you trying to do? I-I'm —" her words were cut off by a crisped sound and a scream in pain after.

"Argghhh my teeth!!!!" Riana screamed out her lungs after her teeth fell off.

"Now, your face matches your character."

Azrael glanced at the youths who spoke earlier, this scared out their wits. He then said before sitting again in his chair, "Bring your young master out."

The guards leaned a little towards him, "Honored guest this may implicate the family."

"Don't worry, they would not pursue this matter unless they are fools," Azrael said confidently.

The guard looked at his confident face and shook his head if their young miss was not close to him and if he did not fear the strength he had shown earlier, he would scold Azrael to death.

"Let's order," he said to Lian and Tihana.He then caught a glimpse of trembling Tihana.

" I-I am not a bad girl please don't slap me." Tihana pleaded when she saw Azrael looking at her. She was terrified at the scene she had witnessed earlier.

Azrael and Lian chuckled.

"Don't worry I won't hurt you. And I know you are not a bad girl."
