"My parents are currently in the garden together with my friend," Lian said.

Lian led Azrael to the garden and from time to time they would talk about something.

They arrived at a very spacious garden. Different plants, colorful flowers, fluttering butterflies in the air, and a crystal clear lake with floating pink lotus while carps swam on it could be seen drawing an image of a peaceful and relaxing fairyland. 

In the center of it is a luxurious garden terrace with three people, one male and two female sitting on chairs while talking about something. The male and one of the females look like they're in their 30's. Nonetheless, they still look healthy and young. As for the other one, she is about the same age as Lian. 

Her wavy and healthy hair fell behind her lower back. She has a curvy body and a big chest for her age. 

She turned her head towards Lian and Azrael. Her face bloomed with a happy expression, her round and shiny hazel-colored eyes sparkled with excitement and pounced towards Lian. 

Lian patted her head, her mouth curved with a sweet smile. She currently looks like an elder sister dotting her little sister.

However, after realizing that there is another person along with Lian her face blushed and she then lowered her head.

Opposite to her sexy body, she has a shy temperament when facing a stranger resulting in a different kind of charm.

"Tihana this is Azrael, the one that I mentioned earlier." Lian introduced.

"H-Hello. I am Tihana Sallow" she greeted meekly.

"Hello, you can call me Azrael." Azrael greeted back.

"Umm, ah, Th-thank you for saving Lian yesterday." 

"You're welcome." 

Lian giggled as she witnessed how Tihana acted in front of a stranger. She never got tired of seeing her shy appearance. Although she acted intimate with her, everytime Tihana faced a stranger or other people that she is not close with, she would always act like a poor little kitten.

Lian then walked towards her parents while Tihana bowed her head a little towards Azrael before following Lian closely.

After the meeting earlier, Maxwell and Reona went to this garden to take a rest. Coincidentally they met Lian and Tihana.

Lian insisted on checking Azrael because of the commotion earlier. Lian invited Tihana to come with her but she was too shy to meet a stranger. With no other choice, Lian left Tihana and her parents for a moment before coming back with Azrael.

"Father, mother, I would like to tour Azrael and treat him as a form of thanks for saving me." She politely said.

Maxwell's brows furrowed as if thinking about something. He then looked at Azrael for a moment while he contemplated the words that Dillon said earlier.

He retracted his eyes from Azrael and looked at Lian.

"If possible I really don't want you to leave the estate for now. We still don't know who is the mastermind behind the incident yesterday."

"B-but.." Lian's eyes have a reluctance on them.

Maxwell looked at Reona asking for her opinion. Reona pondered for a moment before sighing. 

Reona sighed, "Okay but we will assign guards to accompany you."

"Thanks, Mother!" She pounced and hugged her mother.

Maxwell called the three strongest guards in their family. All of them are at the 9th Qi Refining Stage. The sight of three 9th Qi Refining stage cultivators would surely gather attention, especially that these guards are quite renowned in the whole city but they have no choice.

Azrael and the other two girls rode a luxurious carriage by this city's standard. This carriage is a private property of the Rose estate. One of the three 9th Qi Refining stage cultivators rode the front of the carriage and drove it. While the other two rode a horse. And followed them closely. 

This quickly gathered attention from others. Many speculated as to why these three renowned powerful guards from the Rose estate accompanied the carriage.

Maxwell stood up.

"Will you follow them?" Reona asked.

"Yes."

"It was father's statement earlier, right? "

"It's not that I didn't trust Azrael. I know that it is rude of me doing this especially since he is our daughter's savior. Still, I'm a father, I can't just sit still when I know that my daughter's life is being threatened. Even if Azrael is not one of them there might be someone lurking from the shadows that might target her again. And Azrael and the three guards might not be enough to handle the situation. I can't afford to lose my precious daughter." He sternly said.

Maxwell then walked outs. He followed his daughters without anyone noticing.

Reona could only sigh internally.

Inside the carriage, Azrael is sitting facing the two beauties. Tihana would from time to time glance at him then she would avert her eyes. She is just too shy to speak.

"Don't worry about Tihana, it is not like she hates you. She is just shy when it comes to strangers." Lian explained fearing that Azrael would misunderstand Tihana.

"Don't worry, I understand."

"And you Tihana, you better get used to Azrael. He is not a bad person."

These two girls' personalities are opposite. Lian would act mature and collected when facing other people and when she is with people who are close to her she would show childishness from time to time. On the other hand, Tihana can't maintain her calm and would often show a shy and tense expression when facing other people, but when she is with people who are close to her, she would act comfortably and casually.

"I-i know that much. B-but.."

"It's okay, you don't have to force yourself. You can take your time."

Tihana lowered her head slightly.

At this moment Azrael's eyes became sharp for a moment and his lips curved with a slight smile.

He had sensed Maxwell following them. Well, he couldn't blame him since her daughter is being targeted.

Although he had sensed him, he still acted as if he didn't notice anything.

"Where are you going to bring me?" Azrael asked.

"I will bring you to the most popular restaurant in the city, the Jade Garden Restaurant."

Hearing the name of the restaurant, Tihana's eyes sparkled showing her excitement.

"Really?" Tihana asked.

"Yes," Lian assured her.

"Hehehe." Tihana giggled for a moment. She completely forgot that Azrael is with them.

Then her face flushed after waking up from her excitement.

Lian tittered with a hint of teasing.

"Based on Tihana's reaction it must be quite good."

"It is the best. Did you know that it was only a few months after they opened? And yet they have established their reputation as the best restaurant here. They said the owner is a traveler merchant and after reaching this city he decided to open a business. Now, his business boomed and dominated any restaurant in this city." Lian explained excitedly.

Azrael touched his chin as he listened.

"You must really like the restaurant for you to know a lot about this restaurant."

"Un. Ever since I ate there, and the owner is quite friendly. He would always give me a discount. Hehehe." After a moment she composed herself after realizing she was acting like an excited kid again in front of Azrael.

"Is that so? He must really be treating you as VIP then. Did you do something for him to treat you like a VIP?" He asked with profound meaning.

"Hmmm. I don't remember. I've also thought about it but I can only think of it as giving face to the Rose family."

Maxwell, who is hiding from tens of meters away, heard their talks. To him, a Qi liquification stage and with his senses, it is only a simple matter to eavesdrop even from a few meters if he focused.

He frowned after hearing what Azrael had just said. He also heard it from her daughter about the way the owner treated Lian in the past. At that time he only thought that it must be because the owner wanted to establish a relationship with the Rose family and didn't dive any deeper. However, now that Azrael had pointed this out he couldn't help but ponder. He doesn't have much time to think right now, so he temporarily threw these thoughts behind his mind and followed the carriage.
