Chapter 13

Astrid Pov:

I am getting pretty good at flying though I want to see the cave where Hiccup stayed. Anytime I ask he dodges the question.

 Tonight when he goes to sleep I am going up to the cave with Stormfly if I can find it.

 Night comes and Hiccup goes to bed. I slowly get off the ship and hop on Stormfly. We fly up and it takes us an hour to find a cave to land in. As we land I see the flicker of something.

 As the flicker catches fire to something someone says. "Get out of my cave, Hiccup is allowed here but not his friends." I look and recognize who it is from berk.

 "You." I say recognizing the person as Ryder.

 "I can see why Hiccup would know you but why won't you show me your face it is not like I know you." I say to try and get him to remove his mask but he just responds in a way that surprises me.

 "There is reason, It is to protect the ones I love." It catches me off guard and I am taken aback when all of a sudden I am knocked out.

 The next morning I wake up and see Hiccup working so I ask him about Ryder. "Who is Ryder exactly, he knocked me out when I went up to his cave."

 "He is an old friend who wants to stop the killing of dragons. Even if you are a friend of him you can't know everything." He said in a knowingly manner.

 We pack up everything and I leave Stormfly in her cave and Hiccup leaves Toothless as well as well for some reason. While we are leaving I ask Hiccup something.

 "Why are you leaving Toothless and what do we tell them when we get back?" I ask but His response is a little surprising. "Ryder will take care of Toothless and Stormfly, Also we say we didn't find anything so they stay safe." I see sense in his words but I don't know how Ryder will have time to look after toothless with all he is doing.

 We head back and in 2 days Hiccup leaves for school.

 When we arrive we see Fishlegs and Ruffnut had just arrived. As we are docking I see that Fishlegs is stressed out and Ruffnut is ecstatic.

 After we are docked I see that Fishlegs is trying to please Ruffnut or something and that is why he is stress and Ruffnut excited.

 We start to unload and Stoick & Gobber ask Fishlegs and Ruffnut something. "Did you guys find any Islands?"

 I think they did and their response is. "We only found one island on the second day and we fled quickly since they were not friendly." Fishlegs says as Ruffnut runs off.

 "I see, was there anything else?" Stoick asks Fishlegs. "Yes they said to someone to get Griselda the Grievous, whoever that is."

 At the name Hiccup stiffened along with Stoick and Hiccup asked. "Did you say Griselda the Grievous?!" This surprised Stoick since he didn't know hiccup got a name when he was imprisoned.

 "Yes." Fishlegs responds right before Stoick asks Hiccup something. "Did you say Griselda the Grievous Hiccup?"

 "Yes I ran into some of her men 1 week into my adventure, they were not friendly." Hiccup Responds to stoick and now it seems as If stoick is mad.

 "Who is Griselda the Grievous?" I ask Stoick.

 "Nothing for you guys to worry about, just an old foe from something." Stoick says, I can tell that he is hiding something but I am not going to bother.

 "Did you guys find anything?" Gobber asks since stoick stormed off and now Ruffnut was back and unloading her stuff. "No nothing." I said following Hiccups Story.

 "Hiccup on your adventure just how far did you go, I saw you go in the same direction as the time you went adventuring." Gobber asked Hiccup, I got worried thinking we would be found out.

 "I didn't just go south, I also went east when I ran into Griselda the Grievous Gobber. Also from my trip after 3 days south there was nothing so I went Northeast and that was when I ran into Griselda the Grievous." Hiccup said keeping the Island a secret while we were unloading. 

 I go and take all of my stuff back to my hut and I realize that Hiccup left one of His chests Behind on the Island. I don't bother since it isn't any of my Business but still it is weird.

 About 1 hour later, Snotlout and Tuffnut arrive and as they unload Gobber asks. "Did you find any Islands?"

 "No, though we did have a good time." Snotlout says and asks "Why couldn't I be on Astrid's team?" I already don't like that and I am wondering why there were teams in the First place.

 "Well that was Stoicks Idea so If you had a problem, take it up with him." Gobber says and Snotlout stops there clearly not wanting to question the chief.

 The next 2 days pass by and nothing important happens and Hiccup finally leaves for school. When he does he says to check beneath our decks again.

 I go and check and find a letter saying. "It's in that place, go tonight, Burn this." So I will do that. The gifts that the others got were similar.

 Stoick got a new sword. Snotlout got a giant S. The twins got some balls which I think are full of Zippleback gas, Bad idea. Fishlegs got more cards with dragon info.

 That night I go to the hideout and find a chest addressed to me and it has a note. "This is for when you are with Stormfly and another for battle. Come up with an alias in case you are seen. Burn this."

 I burn the note and open the chest. I find a suit made of Deadly Nadder Scales. It looks similar to Ryder so I am wondering if he made this. I find another suit without scales and it seems to be made like Hiccup's suit that I see him wearing in battle.

 Judging from the First suit, either Hiccup had Ryder make this for me or Hiccup is Ryder. I wonder how his trip to school is going and how school is.
