Chapter 354

Climb the gate.

The security boys of the restaurant came around, and laughed when they saw him attempting to escape, they chuckled.

"Why do you think you are running to?" One of them asked, chuckling while rolling his sleeves, for another round of beating.

The man trying to get through the gate crashed on the floor, ignoring the pain, he limped to his feet, with fear registered on his face.

"None of you should dare come close to me, or, I will deal with a..."

Before he could finish his threat speech the security guards descended on him, raining the batons on him mercilessly, he was left wounded and dishevelled on the floor.

"Today is so much fun," one of them said, the others nodded affirmatively, before opening up the gate and throwing him out.

They also joined hands together, to throw the others out, the customers at the queue outside watched with complicated facial expressions.

They gossiped amongst themselves "that is Xiao mem, who did that to them must be courting death" a woman spoke in their midst.

"I heard, they are 'causing trouble in the restaurant, disturbing the people in the kitchen, serves them right"

Two women whispered amongst themselves, they were scared that the beaten Xiao's minion to hear, after lying for an hour.

They struggled to their feet, supporting each other, they managed to leave the restaurant area, the guards were very pleased to welcome Jeane's adopted mother.

"Mama, you are back, what took you so late?",  Jeane asked, the woman smiled " Ju Su, you are always impatient, I ran into some troublemakers, they were trying to force me into paying illegal tax, so, I took the matter up" she responded.

Jeane pondered on it and nodded, she helped her with the bags, and they started another set of meals, Xiao kept on looking in the direction that led to his office, but, every moment gave him heartache.

I am warning Jan Shu Shu, if anything ever happens to my wife to be, I am going to break your bones? Don't ever beat her up?" He bombarded Jan Shushu with questions and threats.
