The Wallfacers' Thoughts

The movie here has been divided into four branches. 

If a movie has too many routes, one of the big problems is that it is easy for these branches to become scattered and difficult to take into consideration. If enough time is still given to each of these parts in the movie, then the result will only be nondescript filming and a mess.

Levi is obviously very aware of this. After briefly introducing the four people's ideas, his movie's priorities were also sorted out.

In the movie, Hines and Rey Diaz are soon put in a secondary position by Levi. 

One of the two men went to engage in scientific research, and the other went to build a nuclear test base. Compared with the other two, their work seems to be more specific and complex; therefore, Levi did not pay them more attention. 

He only briefly mentioned that for Hines' research, they found few volunteers, and his wife assisted him throughout the research process. 

Some parts of the U.S. government secretly paid attention to Rey Diaz's research because they worried he would be detrimental to the United States. These aspects were all passed over without being filmed in detail.

In his film, the focus is on Taylor and the sociologist.

The sociologist proposed his own criteria for the dream girl, and Officer Renault immediately agreed, saying there was no problem at all - his words were very straightforward. Although the sociologist believed that such a woman could not be found, given the vast resources of humanity, it is simply impossible not to find her.

So he thinks it's very simple - although he also thinks it's unnecessary.

Former Secretary of Defense Taylor was keen on building a space fleet at this time. And he was in the process of planning the fleet. It is even more clearly stated that sacrifice, dedication, and the spirit of having the courage to die must be placed first. 

For this proposal, he began to visit armies around the world, hoping to get what he wanted from these armies.

He visited Japan, China, and even the Middle East, which is an enemy of the United States. Although he is the former U.S. Secretary of Defense, he did not ignore these countries that were theoretically enemies.

However, his harvest was pitiful.

Japan opposed the plan of sacrifices. The notion that human life takes precedence over the country has gained prominence, making it unlikely for them to form a kamikaze-style army anymore.

In China, Taylor met with the Chinese General from the United Nations on an abandoned aircraft carrier. Despite the general's confidence in victory, Taylor didn't get the answer he wanted. While the general expressed strong confidence in victory, he and Taylor disagreed on the approach to achieve it.

Even the well-known leaders of the Middle East forces are unwilling to give in on this issue. His simple and straightforward words left Taylor speechless, and they had to accept this fate. "Our sacrifices come from hatred. We don't hate aliens. Their coming is a judgment for the people on Earth. We go to heaven, and they go to hell - why should we hate them?"

In three different places, Taylor got three different answers, but they all had the same meaning: no one is willing to sacrifice themselves for the survival of the Earth.

Such a result makes people feel sad. 

The movie very straightforwardly allows people to see some problems in social evolution: Westerners have always believed that their own direction of social development is the most correct. 

However, the conflict between different civilizations is obvious when facing a huge crisis for all humanity, and the unity of all humankind is needed. 

Is the social development of Westerners really completely correct? This question also makes people think.

At the same time, Rey Diaz, who is studying nuclear weapons, has already transported nuclear weapons to Mercury and built a test base there. The picture of the universe that appeared once again made people feel extremely excited. 

At the same time, Hines, who studies human thought control, has also made breakthrough progress. His instrument can finally change the thinking of the human brain. He has successfully made experimental subjects think water is poisonous, a completely illogical thought.

It can be said that the scientific research of these two people is successful, but sadly, these scientific research seem to have been subject to strong discussion and criticism. 

But until this moment, people still didn't see clearly what their purpose was, and they were still confused about the thoughts of these Wallfacers.

At this time, the lens of the movie changed and returned to the sociologist.

Compared with those few people visiting the army, recruiting volunteers, and researching nuclear weapons, now he was picking up girls.

Officer Renault brings his dream girl to him and arranges for her to become his assistant. Sure enough, everything was as he thought. The girl had a very beautiful face, quiet temperament, elegant conversation, and slender figure - everything was as he thought.

The actor who plays this character is not particularly familiar to the audience. 

Although there have been rumors before that Levi wanted Natalie Portman to play this role, she does not value commercial films very much and did not accept the invitation. 

In the end, Levi chose to find a model to play the role - this model named Gal Gadot, was Miss Israel in 2004 and had basically no acting experience before.

But, fortunately, she is just a big vase in the play - what she needs to do is enough: just to put on the right clothes, look good for the camera, and fascinate the sociologist. 

There is no need to worry about her acting skills being raw because no one expected her to be able to act - on the contrary, this rawness can reflect the purity of this character.

And this purity, it also made the sociologist quickly fall in love. They chatted and traveled together, and soon, the sociologist fell in love with the girl of his dreams and proposed to her.

The tension was very different from the previous Taylor session. This session relieved the audience a lot. Moreover, people also had another idea at this time: Maybe, when facing such a doomsday, having a warm family and a comfortable life is more important than anything else.

But the plot soon accelerated again just after people's spirits were relieved.

After briefly showing the progress of several people, their hidden trump card is finally revealed - in the movie, Taylor welcomes his guest, and the identity of this guest is also shocking.

"Taylor the Wallfacer, I am your Wallbreaker."

The visitor was short in stature. His appearance was not impressive, but his words made Taylor take a breath.

In the first part, most were annihilated, but a few Earth Trisolaran organizations survived. Now, they've resurfaced. Their reappearance immediately changed the tone of the movie and made the movie tense.

Compared with the Trisolarans, they are more terrifying opponents: they are traitors to the Earth, familiar with its civilization and its tricks. Unlike the Trisolarans, who are like six-year-old children, they are the real threat.

Whether you can deceive them is also the most important thing.

"Your idea is to use human beings to sacrifice themselves to create quantum weapons. You think you can fight the alien army if you have a quantum army."

His speculation stopped Taylor and made him stop talking. The audience was all surprised at this time.

The story of the Three-Body Problem continues with Ball Lightning. At the end of the Ball Lightning, it is shown that the person transformed into a quantum state after being hit. 

The TV series does not clearly state whether people in such a quantum state can communicate with other humans. Now, Taylor's plan has solved the mystery - obviously, they can still communicate with humans.

Many people proposed this kind of plan before the movie was released, and now that it has been proposed in the movie, it naturally excites many fans. Indeed, compared to sending the Earth's army to fight, this method seems better.

No wonder he is looking for a spirit of sacrifice - turning into a quantum state is naturally a big sacrifice.

However, another question also made them wonder: even if they want it, as a Wallfacer, is it really okay for Taylor to propose such a plan?

And this question was quickly answered in the movie.

"The last strategies of you Americans were all used in the Normandy landing. Since then, the excessive military superiority has made you no longer know what strategy is." Regarding his thoughts, the Wallbreaker ruthlessly taunts, "The Lord doesn't care about your plan."

In the trailer, this sentence has made many people think it is very powerful, but at this time, people are even more shocked - for Taylor's plan, no suitable executor has been found, which means there is no possibility of success. 

And now, the Trisolaran man has made it clear that even if he succeeds, they don't care - the people on Earth can't even complete a plan that doesn't threaten the Trisolaran people.

Wallfacer No. 1 has been declared defeated, but can humanity really win this war?
