5- Dementor

~Harry POV~

After 5 minutes the train jolted and stoped. And without any warning the lights went off.

I stood up to check in the corridor when the train gave another violent shook and I fell on top of Adriana who was now awake.

I put my hands on the wall behind her so my full weight was not on her.

We both looked at each other eyes. Her eyes were glowing brown in the dark.

They were beautiful.

When I realised how awkward our position was I stood and sat beside her, blushing furiously.

Thank god the lights are out. I thought

~Adriana POV~

All lights went off and the train gave another violent jolt when I woke up.

I saw Harry moving towards the compartment's door but was not able to open it because the train gave another jolt and Harry fell on top of me.

He placed his hand on the wall behind me at the right time or he would have fell on me.

We looked at each others eyes. His green eyes were shining under the moon light and I was looking at him waiting him to realise that he is on top of me.

And he did after 5 to 10 seconds he realised that he was on top of me and straighten up and sat beside me.

I saw a red tint on his cheek but didn't got time to admire it because Ron started speaking making me look at him.

"there is a figures moving outside."

And me being right next to the window peeked out and indeed there was someone but I was not able to identify because of the dark.

But then I heard the compartment for open and looked at that side. And saw a figure, not just any figure but a hooded figure that wore a scraped robe with a hood covering it's face.

It slid one of his hand inside the compartment and looked or I thought it looked towards Harry and mine's direction and in an instant I wrapped my arm around Harry trying to protect it.

Arghh! My soldier trait! I thought.

The thing looked at me trying to protect Harry and came towards us.

And when it came closer it's hand became more clear. It was slimy and was decayed as if it was kept deep in water for years.

As the thing was comming closer I started hearing screaming.

"NOOOOOOO! LEAVE HER ALONE!"

"MOVE ASIDE OR I WILL KILL YOU TOO!"

"LEAVE US ALONE!!"

"ANNA THE WATER!!"

"DON'T LEAVE MY HAND, ALEX"

"ANNAAAAAAA!!"

"ALEEEEEEEEEXX!!!"

It was him. I thought.

I looked towards Harry and saw him already unconscious, so technically it was me who has to protect, so I tried to keep my eyes open but that thing moved his hand towards us.

And me being me, I grabbed it.

It was very slimy and cold. My breath started to hitch and I started feeling drowsy but I kept my eyes open trying to fight the nasty thing in front of me but then a figure came between me and the nasty creature.

"we don't have Sirius Black. Leave." the man said.

But the thing didn't move so he took out his wand and muttered something and a bright light erupted from the end of his wand,like a sheild and the thing kind of vanished.

The man turned to face us and held one of his hand for me to stand.

I grabbed it and stood up and put my weight on the wall.

The lights came and now I was able to see the surroundings and saw Harry passed out hermione and ron standing looking shocked and a man.

But I was not able to speak anything as everything blacked out and I fell on the floor with a thud.

I slowly opened my eyes and saw Hermione, Ron, Harry and the man looking at me with a concerned expression.

I sat up and leaned against the wall of the compartment.

"Adriana are you okay?" Hermione asked.

I nodded feeling very dizzy to talk.

Then I met Harry's eyes and he said.

"thankyou!"

I looked at him in confusion.

The man must have seen my confusion because he said.

"they are called Dementors Adriana,guards of azkaban, they are the foulest creature to walk on Earth."

"they suck all the good feeling from a human till he is left with sorrow and depression." he continued.

My eyes widened.

"what the hell was that dementor doing here?" I asked

He looked at me like I had 3 heads.

"it came here to find Sirius black." he answered and I looked down.

"and what you did was courageous but stupid!" he said more like scolded.

Again I looked down.

"soldier side, can't help!" I said while grinning.

"but how was you able to resist yourself from fainting." he asked.

"I had to save Harry he had already fainted and I think that the dementor had a special intrest in Harry."I answered and he looked at me in confusion.

I signed and said.

"Good resistance level,I guess."

"ohh!" the man said.

"well because of you, Harry is alright!" he said and I smiled shyly.

I don't go on showing off my talent so I was a little shy.

"well then, have this chocolate and you will feel better." he said offering me a chocolate.

I took the chocolate and started nibbling it. I felt like warmth was rising from my fingertips to my feet.

I stood up and sat on the seat.

"well, I am going to talk to the driver." he said turning around but I stoped him.

"excuse me!" I said and he turned around.

"Yes?" he asked smiling.

"I don't know your name.... Could you... Umm... Please tell your name." I said hesitantly.

"oh! I am Remus Lupin.I will be teaching at Hogwarts this year." he said.

"thankyou Professor Lupin." Harry said.

"there is no need to thank me Harry, now I'll meet you all at Hogwarts." he said smiling and went to talk to the driver.

I turned my head to see Ron, Harry and Hermione and found them already looking at me.

"what happened?" I asked.

"thankyou Adriana for saving him!" Hermione said and I brushed it off.

"what happened how did you stop that dementor?" harry asked me but before I could reply Ron did.

"it was so cool Harry you should have seen it."

"that thing looked towards you-or I thought it did, then it came towards you and Adriana held out a hand to protect you. When that dementor moved more towards you, you-ah-sort of went rigid, I thought you were having some sort of fit or something." he continued.

"the dementor moved it's hand towards you, Harry but before it could hold you Adriana grabbed it's hand and twisted it a little which bought professor some time to come and help you" Hermione added

But till the time they finished their sweet fairytale I dozed out.

Okay! so writing this chapter was fun and I really can't wait to finish POA....
