Heir of Abraxus - A Harry Potter Fanfiction

One day truck-kun found Julius, but he survived or did he? This is a story about someone who, after getting his wishes after his meeting with truck-kun, awakens in the world of Harry Potter and his rise to the top to explore this new world. This is my first story if anyone actually does read it I would be happy about constructive criticism. - - - - - - - - - - Update: My uplod schedule has become very irregular so be warned. I do intend to see this through until completion but after the end of a volume (probably after every year at Hogwarts) I do plan to take breaks in the hopes that I‘ll start into the new volume with more of an idea where I wanna go with it.

Death Magic

After arriving at the place he felt the presence of both, George and Theo, Julius opened the door, curious of what would await him.

"Theo is very sorry young master but please don't fire Theo, I will make sure to never make you regret your decision please let me continue to serve the Abraxus family!"

Theo seemed truly sad, pulling his ears down while staring to the ground was certainly not what Julius was expecting but it was certainly a welcome surprise, after all it would, as long as it was not expertly acted, mean that he just gained another trustworthy subordinate whom most anti-apparition wards weren't able to counter in the slightest.

And that was completely omitting his very useful ability to work many different kinds of household magic.

"No problem Theo, as long as you truly will be loyal to me I will not fire you as long as you do not want me to. But I think you two probably have much to catch up upon so I will let you alone for now, though can you tell me how to enter the place where the knowledge about Death Magic is stored?"

"Normally anyone entering would have to cut their hands and lay it on the doors to let it make sure it is indeed an Abraxus family member in front of the door, but with your grimoire you can even omit this annoying part and just let the crystal touch the doors. And Theo can you maybe add something about this room?"

George turned to Theo, if you thought about it it actually did make sense, after all a house elf can get very old and most of them are being treated like a heirloom by pureblood families.

"Oh yes, Theo would be happy to help the young master; the room is called the „Mausoleum" and Theo heard the old master say in there the past family heads would impart their wisdom into the next generation as Death Magic is a bit more complicated than most other kinds of magic. But that is all I know about it, I hope I could help the young master?"

'Now this is what I call interesting, when he says „past family heads" does he mean ghosts? But that would imply that all Family heads will become ghosts which should be statistically extremely unlikely. Wait! Oh I'm stupid how could I forget that death is this family's specialty magic branch. Now I'm really curious.'

"Yes Theo, you did in fact help me very much. Now if you both would excuse me, I got really curious after all this talking. I will see you again tomorrow at the latest, bye!"

"Wait, young master!" *sigh*

After Julius left George seemed to age a few years, but he knew his young master well enough to know he won't be able to deter him from doing what he was dead set on doing.

After Julius arrived in front of the doors again, this time with his grimoire he left behind when he went searching for Theo for whatever reasons, he immediately ordered it to slightly touch the door with the jewel in its center.

When the grimoire touched the door the doors opened completely silent and revealed a darkness behind them, similar to the one in Julius' mind space.

After entering the darkness without hesitation Julius found himself in a big hall in front of many statues of animals, which all seemed to be carved out of giant rubies.

‚That must have something to do with the part of the family heads but for now shall I look at my status again? After all the grimoire should have slightly strengthened my magic power.'

‚Plus two magic power at once!? But it should be because usually the people who become family heads already have strong magic power reserves. Well then let's continue with the main reason I am here, as till now everything worked like this I guess I should maybe lay my hand on one of the bases of the statues.'

After going to the base of the nearest statue, a majestic-looking eagle, and touching it, the ruby suddenly darkened and became black, then it began moving and turned towards Julius.

<So you are my successor, how deep the great Abraxus family fell for a child to become its mast- wait! How could a child this young have mana reserves like that? Not even rituals together with the strengthening of the grimoire should be able to grow the magic power of a child younger than eleven further than the minimum amount required to form a magic core; rituals can't be used to create a magic core and so the only way would be to grow the magic to almost this level through a ritual and then using another one for deceiving the grimoire to bond with a person not even having a magic core, creating one in the process. But further natural growth should be impossible until the age of eleven and using a ritual would only hurt the magic of the user at this point. Tell me boy, how did you do it?>

Despite his shock at the sudden questioning of the statue Julius still decided to answer as those statues were most probably the manifestations of the former family heads and he would need their cooperation for learning the knowledge about Death Magic they possessed.

"I was able to form a magic core by myself and after that the grimoire strengthened me further, but does that mean I can't grow my magic power anymore till I become eleven?"

<Interesting, I won't question how you were able to form a magic core already as this isn't my purpose but I can't really guess what this would mean for your magic power as I, even if I did understood how you did this wouldn't have the mental ability to do so. I am only the Umbra of a family head before you after all, I am only an amalgamation of parts of his knowledge with a slight bit of his personality.

But let's not talk about this anymore, you probably came here for learning Death Magic from me am I right there?>

"Yes you're right about that, can we start right now? This should after all be the „purpose" you mentioned."

<That may be true, but I will not teach you any real Death Magic before your eleventh birthday, you need to have the ability to grow the amount of magic you can store for that. But I can at least teach you the basic spell everyone is required to learn as part of the Abraxus family. It is called „voco umbra" and is viewed as our equivalent to a patronus spell by most others as it seems similar and we can't use the patronus spell. But in reality this is only a minor effect of the spell, the real reason we practice it is to store all our understanding of death in it in the form of our umbra. It will also later be stored here to teach the new generation about Death Magic but that comes much later for you. Let's start now.>

Okay just so you know, next chapter will be a timeskip again.

Also as always I welcome all constructive criticism I can get and have fun reading.
