Near the moons of Saturn in space.

Queen of the Skrulls, Veranka, became weak in the knees after finally confirming her safety from Kai. She plopped down on her bed and her tiredness enveloped her body.

"How-.... Isn't he…supposed to be a good guy?" Veranka muttered while she was alone in her quarters.

Based on Barbara's memories, she knows that Kai detested another species that brought harm to humans, but seeing his methods personally had been traumatic for her.

"Should we…just drop a Nega-bomb on Earth and just clear out the resistance?" Veranka thought out loud.

She had some reservation to do so as it would take longer for the Skrull to build from a scorched earth. The Nega-bomb that they have was the same type of bomb that the Kree would use to destroy any intelligent life to make way for their planet colonisation.

"Now that the Kree has been snooping around Earth, we couldn't wait for much longer…" Queen Veranka muttered.

The Skrull had enough power to fight the Kree empire before they had fallen in front of Galactus' hunger. The species' was scattered all over the universe after that, but Veranka could summon around 10,000 Skrulls battleships and 500 warships instantly while waiting for the countless others to respond to her call.

Even with their planets destroyed, there were billions of Skrulls still surviving in the galaxy. However, not all of them were loyal to the queen. Veranka gave out the order to mobilise the Skrulls army after thinking about it.

She turned back into her Skrull's appearance, and wore a golden crown on her head. The mighty army of the Skrulls from all over the galaxy were currently coming to Earth for the upcoming war.

They couldn't let the Kree army take over the Earth before them. Earth was located in a special place in the universe where they would be able to open a wormhole to all the other parts of the galaxy – That was what the Kree researchers had found.

By taking over the Earth and the solar system, they could build a military front there, and send armies to any battle they were having instantly across the galaxy. Instantaneous travel to Xandar, the Shi'ar empire, the sovereigns, and more civilizations without anything in their way. The Kree will rule the universe when they conquer Earth.

This speciality wasn't only known to the civilizations, but also to Asgard. That's why Earth was the center of the nine realms and had various wormholes that were connected to the other realms.

For the two technologically advanced civilizations, Earthlings fate wasn't even in their calculations. For them, it was either submit or be destroyed.

However, Earth had its own unexpected defence system that both of the civilizations feared. First it was Danvers. Then, many more terrifying Earthlings had popped out across the years with powers that could even rival their armies.

The Skrulls had chosen to create havoc inside the earth and made the earthlings surrender on their own. They also had planned to make the heroes submit to them on their own through human's own laws, but Ryan Knight and Tarot had single-handedly destroyed their decades of planning.

"Now, it wasn't the time to plan any longer. Now…it's time to attack." Queen Veranka muttered coldly without knowing that all of her orders were being relayed to the most dangerous man on Earth.

Inside Ryan's penthouse, he displayed a smirk after learning the orders. "Interesting."

"I should call back Arcadia for this." Ryan said and sent a telepathic link to Dawn.

Ryan was meeting with Tony and Steve in his VP's office 5 minutes before the attack on Bruce happened.

"TaskMaster is keeping quiet about the prisoners. Also, we couldn't remove the vibranium armor from him and had to keep him in restraint." Steve reported. He was wearing his Captain America enhanced uniform that Ryan created and his newly fixed shield on his back.

"That's fine. We know where they went." Ryan said as he picked up the report that was handed to him by Steve.

After SHIELD was infiltrated by Hydra, Steve felt that the Avengers shouldn't fall under the influence of the government institution and take actions to save the world on their own.

He didn't tell this to anyone – not even to Peggy. But he was disappointed that Ryan had taken over the Vice President's position and entered politics.

However, his heart that was full of liberty and freedom, had been opened up to accept the government as he saw Ryan's plans for the future. He didn't even have any problem for the country to mobilise the Avengers and the team to take orders from the governments, as long as Ryan stayed on the top.

Captain America volunteered to fight the Nazi's because it was the right thing to do, not because he wanted America to oppress other small nations under the guise of a saint – as they were the farthest away from becoming one.

He even thought of abandoning his Captain America's persona and becoming a vagabond, but his responsibility as an Avenger kept him here. Now, he doesn't want that anymore. Now, he can finally become proud of the Captain America's name.

"We know where they are. So why don't we go over there and investigate?" Tony suggested with a slightly raised voice.

"Latveria is a sovereign nation and is entitled to their rights to bear asylum. We can't conduct a mission over there without causing a diplomatic dispute." Ryan said sternly as he read the report.

"Big deal. Send Natasha over there then. She will get in and out without them even noticing it." Tony said sarcastically.

"Tony." Steve warned.

"What? I am just saying. We know where they are, and we know that they are planning something, so why shouldn't WE…you know… attack them first?" Tony argued while putting his hand on Steve's shoulder.

"You know damn well why we shouldn't. Especially at the time when Ryan wanted to show the world that his words do mean something. The world summit is approaching. We couldn't afford any scandal now." Steve argued back.

"Why are you even saying 'we'? It's him. He did everything. We are just his bodyguards. For some ridiculous reasons, people hate that the world is becoming better."

"We are helping him. Tony, you need to understand. He is not becoming a king. He is a guide. Everything he is doing is being recorded. Everything he does is becoming an example to the world. We can't risk his record being damaged."

"So we are just going to wait? Until they come and attack us? If they attack him… and he is gone. Then all the work… Are useless. You understand that right?" Tony's heart was beating wildly. He almost wanted to punch the captain.

"Um.." Ryan said softly, wanting to interject. But the duo seemed to not notice he was there.

He let out a deep sigh. Both of the individuals in front of him have a massive ego. It was a miracle that they were working peacefully together until now.

Tony has been feeling restless for a couple of months. With the Hydra now scattered, the new enemy – AIM, and the countless assassination attempt on Ryan's life. They could come to help Ryan to get through it since they were here, but what if they weren't?

It happened once. But luckily SpiderGwen was there. But what if she wasn't?

What if, one day someone so terrifying came, and the Avengers weren't there to protect Ryan?

The more Ryan cleared the country from its issues, the more he felt anxious about the countless enemies hiding deep inside it.

He hasn't been sleeping for days as he kept thinking about this matter. He even started a new project just to get his mind focused. An AI designed to be part of a peacekeeping program that could protect the humans from both outside and inside threats. The Ultron project.

Of course, he didn't tell anyone about it yet. Not even Banner who is kind of his go-to guy in his experiments.

Suddenly, a female voice with a British accent interrupted the argument. "Do you really have to bicker about that in front of him?"

Peggy Carter in her SHIELD's combat suit walked into the heavily protected office casually.

"What's happened Peggy?" Ryan asked. It was rare for her to meet him personally without it being a grave matter.

"It looks like the ex-director has poached several of our agents. Also, there is a suspicious movement inside the military. The Shadow unit has reported that the generals will have a meeting tonight."

"Fury did what?" Tony cuts in.

"I thought you would focus more on the shadow unit." Ryan asked, a bit surprised.

"I will get to that later. Was the military movement conducted by him?" Tony asked.

"There are no signs of him as of now." Peggy replied. " I am here to see if our Vice President knows anything about this."

All the attention was now on Ryan. "Well… Ah what a coincidence." He got a ping before he could help Peggy out.

"THE suspicious movement is taking place now. There are 50 HulkBuster units around Banner's apartment. The communication was jammed, so I am unable to reach him." Ryan said in a casual manner. The disaster apps instantly went to work and so did the people in front of him.

"Damn it. If Hulk loses his control now. Then his barely positive image that I have been working so hard to build will be destroyed." Tony said and he summoned his Iron Man suit.

"Also, People's lives will be in danger." Peggy said.

"Yes. That too." Tony replied obediently. Unlike when he faced Steve, he couldn't shake the image of the old Peggy who used to come by his house when he was young from the now young and extremely perky Peggy.

They all ran to help, leaving Ryan alone in his office.

"I miss talking to people." Ryan said, a bit lonely and was surrounded by tall stacks of papers he needed to settle.

He already notified Kai who was the closest one and Thor who was trying to talk (*ehem*Beg *ehem*) to Kai about lifting his burger restriction.

Jane has been ignoring Thor and has entered the government's research centre that was conducted by Ryan to study the wormholes around the solar system, making the Asgardian God seek comfort in food.

Kai had to stop him from eating too many burgers and drinking beers as he saw that Thor's cheeks were becoming chubbier. Only if he exercised and got his previous shape back, then Kai will lift the restrictions.

In New York's outskirts.

"Bruce. You shouldn't have." Jennifer Walters said cheekily as she devoured the food that Bruce had served.

"No Jen. I should. We are all very proud of you." Bruce said and he opened up a can of beer for himself. Jen was sitting on the floor while Bruce was sitting on the sofa. Various food and drinks were served on the coffee table separating them, as Bruce is now a financially stable man.

After graduating from the law school, she immediately got a high profile case even before she joined a firm. A case related to the superhuman law that Ryan had established.

She managed to change the life imprisonment status for Dwayne, the one who had lost control because of an Asgardians Berserker's staff before.

He was still charged for robbery and was sentenced to five years of imprisonment, which he had already served. He was released a week ago and had adopted a daughter named Nina. He got a job as a car mechanic and brought Nina to live a new life with him in Frisco, Texas.

Bruce sipped his beer that would be impossible for him to do if he and Hulk didn't come to an understanding and shouted out a toast for Jen.

"To Jen. The most famous graduate lawyer in New York because she tripped herself in front of the Vice President."

"Ughh!" Jen covered her face with her hair from the embarrassing memory. Ryan personally congratulated her and Dwayne as they were the first people benefiting from the superhumans law, but at that time she was so nervous that she fell flat on her face.

The photographers managed to capture the incident and now she is trending on social media.

"Cheer up Jen. I mean, he was laughing at you and wasn't mad at all." Bruce teased.

"Shut up. Also, when will Betty come? I don't want to talk to you now." Jen pouted while Bruce laughed.

Suddenly, Bruce heard the sound of a missile coming right at his location. He was trained in the simulation room even if he wasn't the Hulk so that he could avoid dangers in case the Hulk pouted or refused to come out. His training that he reluctantly took is proven useful now.

BOOM

The missiles hit the side of his apartment door and exploded. Bruce lunged toward Jen and pushed her on the floor, protecting her from the debrises that was flying toward them.

She had some injuries, and so did Bruce.

"Jen. Take cover." Bruce said, barely keeping his anger incarnation in check. He needed to save Jen first. He didn't realize that some of his blood had fallen onto Jen's wound when he was saving her.

"Bruce. Call the Avengers. Now!" Jen said hurriedly.

"Jen. I am. An Avenger." Bruce smiled and changed places with the Hulk.

"He meant I am the Avenger." Hulk scoffed while looking at Jen.

ROAR

Hulk let out a loud roar and jumped from the newly made hole in the wall, targeting the attackers. Seeing the familiar HulkBuster unit in front of him, Hulk can guess who was the one responsible instantly.

"Ross."

In a fortified mobile base one kilometer away, Ross muttered softly. "Let's play a game Big guy."

General Thadeus Ross was re-appointed as a military general after the military institution was under extreme threat with Ryan's interventions.

The bribery and lobbying of the weapon dealers, the weapons quality, off book military operations, unethical research, and more was stopped by Ryan. He even cut the overblown budget for the military and had pulled out the troops from the whole world.

Some generals had become traitorous because of this. They wanted to take over the country and put it under a military law because of what Ryan did. However, anyone who wanted to do that will be found dead under dubious circumstances even if they were under heavy protection.

Ryan had warned them, and they had no choice but to be obedient for a while.

The generals re-hired Ross because of his previous super-soldier research, and wanted to make an elite team that could kill Ryan before he destroyed the country's ways of intervention (aggression) further. They did it secretly and had provided Ross with everything he needed.

Ross had even used his daughter, Betty, to get to Banner who was once the main researcher for the gamma-strengthening experiment. He had spent his entire life creating a perfect soldier like the Hulk. Ethics wasn't even on his mind as he became obsessed after seeing the Hulk's strength.

That personality was then exploited by the war-prone politicians and the military's upper echelon as they needed a scapegoat to fight against Ryan.

"All of them must think that I am blind. That I failed to see what is actually happening." Ross muttered in a low voice. He knew he was being used. But he didn't care.

He ordered the HulkBuster unit to open fire on the Hulk. Hulk could dodge, but the missiles will attack the apartment and Jen was still inside it.

"Not here." Hulk grumbled softly while grabbing the missiles, exploding it in his hand. The missiles barely hurt him and he jumped to the side of the battlefield.

"This time Hulk. This is the last time for us. Let's have a good fight." Ross said with a fanatical glint in his eyes.

The HulkBuster followed him, moving away from the apartment complex.

Ross reminisced while he was fighting Hulk again. Previously, he only needed one opportunity to get a tiny sample of the Hulk's blood.

However, it was denied to him multiple times.

He came close when Samuel Stern had studied the blood sample to create the antidote for the Hulk, but all the samples were mysteriously gone when Abomination appeared. Stern was also dead, leaving him with nothing to show for his actions.

He only had a tiny vial of sample and it wasn't enough for him to do anything with it at the time.

Hate. That's what he felt. He felt extreme hate toward the Hulk to deny him his life's greatest achievement.

If he could create an army of people like the Hulk, he could've made the United States without a match against any other country on the planet, even the universe.

"All of that power. But you're too stupid to use it." Ross said disdainfully and took out an injector.

There was a green fluid inside the injector. Then, Ross added a blood red compound on the green fluid. After the compound was mixed, he injected them into his bloodstream without anyone knowing.

"This is…Power…" Ross said while his eyes turned red. His body cracked, and muscles started to grow. Slowly, he turned into the thing he both feared and loved.

His body morphed into a 6'9 red monster, and he punched open the steel door from where he was sitting. The door flew from the mobile base and destroyed a tree.

The monster walked out from the mobile base, revealing his blood red skin and terrifying bulkiness. He gathered the strength onto his legs and jumped toward where the Hulk and the Hulk Buster units were fighting.

The plan was simple. He will swoop in, fight together with the Hulk against the Hulk Busters, show that the military could control the new supersoldiers, and win Ryan's approval for starting back his research.

BAM

The Red-Hulk landed right in front of the Hulk who was tearing the HulkBusters robot into two.

The moment the Red-Hulk laid eyes on the Hulk, he forgot all of his previous plans.

"HUUUUUUULLLLLLLLKKKKKKKKK!!!!"

The Red-Hulk roared and dashed toward the Hulk. Then, he punched the distracted Hulk on his face, slamming him backward and destroying 3 HulkBuster that were encircling the Hulk.

Hulk stood up and spit out blood from his mouth. He smirked as he will have a good fight today.

Inside Bruce's blown up apartment, Jen was staggering and fell to the floor.

"What-? I…" She breathed heavily and she noticed that her veins were turning green. Then, the colour green spread into the other part of her skin.

Her loose white shirt with Kai's wings logo on it became tight and was raised upward, revealing her now muscular abs. For some reason, her short hair became longer. The loose yoga pants she was wearing became tight and ripped out a little.

She turned toward the reader, and said.

"Oh yeah. My time has come to make an appearance. Also, please let me keep my clothes in this one. I also don't want to have a 30 inch 'something' inserted 'somewhere' inside me to fulfil your perverted imaginations. "
