Enhancing my mind also allowed me to look into other people's mind using Legilimency. It is the act of magically navigating through the many layers of a person's mind and correctly interpreting one's findings.

The mind is a complex and many-layered thing. Those who have mastered Legilimency, under certain conditions, can delve into the minds of their victims and interpret their findings correctly.

The most advanced Legilimens can perform Legilimency nonverbally and wandlessly, but less talented practitioners must use the incantation Legilimens to enter their victim's mind.

If a target is not skilled in Occlumency, Legilimens will be able to detect if the person is lying, as well as delve into their thoughts, emotions, and memories. Highly skilled Legilimens can also influence a mind that they invade;

One needs to form direct eye contact with his target to access their mind. it is easier to perform Legilimency when the target and practitioners' eyes meet.

Like Occlumency, Legilimency is not regularly taught at Hogwarts. Considering that it invades peoples' privacy, Legilimency is an illegal magical practice.

After learning about Legilimency I also practised it on Susan. Don't get me wrong, I did it with the good intention of developing her Occlumency shields. But I may also slightly influenced her into always staying loyal towards me.

Sometimes when I get bored I usually visit the muggle world. Yes, muggles world I don't find strange to say muggle as if they are different species. Well after all I'm different from them since I can do magic. Maybe it's because of enhancing my mind. I don't find them my equals any more.

So usually I visit the muggle world to practice Legilimens on them. strangely I don't feel pity for violating their privacy. After years of practice, I can cast Legilimens just looking at the target's eyes wandlessly, but I cannot do it on those who protected their mind. Still, more work needs to be done. It seems I need to form some emotional contact with the target to bypass their mind shields.

Practising Legilimens on muggles also greatly helped me mimic their various emotions. Last year I killed a guy who was on the streets, just to check whether I felt guilty of taking a life or not. Nope, I still feel nothing. I know killing isn't a good thing to do but I don't feel guilt for killing a person. After analysing what I have done, I concluded that I don't have a moral line so I didn't feel any guilt. I didn't feel disgusted or enjoying myself or anything while killing, It was just another experiment. It was all to it.

I also learned the fact regarding blood ancestry. Pureblooded wizards have an easier time controlling their magic and have a large magic core. Pure-blood is the term for wizarding families who claim to have no Muggles or Muggle-borns in their family tree; Most wizards and witches consider an individual to be a pure-blood if his or her parents and grandparents were not Muggles or Muggle-born.

While half-blood wizards have easier control over magic but they have medium-sized magic cores. Half-blood is the term commonly given to wizards and witches who had known Muggle or Muggle-born parents or grandparents. Any wizard or witch who is neither pure-blood nor Muggle-born is considered half-blood, even if they have two magical parents; they need not have exactly half-Muggle/half-wizard heritage.

I was raised as a half-blood wizard and also registered as one. Amelia mentioned my father being a muggle-born wizard and he died during the first wizarding war. To be honest I can understand why she lied about my father considering the fact Sirius is known as a betrayer and murderer.

Day after day just constantly practising magic and experimenting it provides quite some results. I grew taller and fairly handsome for my age with fair skin and brown hair without even using my Metamorphmagus abilities. No one knows about me being a Metamorphmagus.

I also finished studying most of the books in the library at home.

They were common books. The bones family has been only around two hundred years so they don't have many collections of books on rune magic or any ritual magic for that case.

And don't even get me started on dark arts. I also planned to get books from stores but I lack funds to buy it.

I have a lot of muggle money, when I went to the muggle world I controlled people to make me some money and it's been growing ever since. But people in the wizarding world don't use muggle currencies. They use an entirely new system of knuts, sickle and Galleons.

The Knut or Bronze-Knut is the least valued coin in British wizarding currency. There are 29 Knuts in one silver Sickle, and there are 493 Knuts in one golden Galleon.

A Sickle or Silver-Sickle is a coin of the wizarding currency used in Great Britain. Made out of silver, one Sickle is equal to 29 Knuts, and 17 Sickles make up a Galleon.

A Galleon or Gold-Galleon is the most valued coin of the wizarding currency used in Britain. One Galleon is equal to 17 Sickles or 493 Knuts. Galleons are made of gold.

Muggle money can be exchanged for Galleons at a higher exchange rate in Gringotts.

And Gringotts doesn't allow anyone to walk inside, you need to be at least a wizard or witch to enter Gringotts. According to the law of the British wizarding world, only those holding wands are considered wizards or witches.

Amelia keeps the gold and she takes care of us. I cannot ask her money to buy books on dark arts which will freak her out. Considering she works in ministry, which made it almost impossible to have any dark arts books in our home.

Amelia also became Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement two years ago. Now she spends most of her time in her office. Most of the time it's just me and Susan at home. Other than spending my time studying and experimenting with magic, I spend most of the time with Susan teaching her magic and studies. Due to this, Susan became more clingy towards me. Susun also learned she isn't Amelia's daughter. When she heard it she almost had a mental breakdown after some comforting words and a few promises from me made her happy again.

I honestly don't know what's with the wizarding world and partying. They just throw parties for almost everything. Amelia made us attend these parties. She also taught us about the etiquette of wizards and witches. I also met with many heirs of prominent families and made some acquaintances with them.

Yes. Acquaintances. You see there are some prejudices in the wizarding world like most house Slytherins become death eaters or like the Potter family belong to Gryffindors and the bones family in Hufflepuff. And these young children have been taught, like that, since a young age, it becomes harder to get close with them. As if I'm gonna suck to these bratty bastards just to get close.

But Susan on other hand had no one beside me to play with so she was very enthusiastic about these parties to make new friends. She also made many friends.

Like this, I spent eleven years of my life preparing to enter Hogwarts.
