Liam quickly started experimenting with the book. The Book reminded him of "Tom riddle's Diary' but it didn't have a soul inside it. He tried the way Harry communicated with the Diary, the diary didn't respond but when he wrote, 'What is this book?' The black book gave its own description.

The Mage king's Record of knowledge:
The Mage king's Record of knowledge Or 'The Book of Solomon' is a book which contains all the knowledge of Solomon the great mage king, the book is enchanted with magic such that it takes new information from the wizard who touches it and stores it in itself. When any specific information is needed, you can just ask the book and the book will present the information which is needed.

Liam was very fascinated by the book, he had never even heard the name of Solomon before, which meant it was a very old wizard maybe it was even older than few thousand years old. It meant that this book may even contain record of lost potions, Ancient spells, lost history and many more information which has been lost for a long period of time.
But how to get that information out of the book, he has to ask a specific question for the book to answer him. The question he asked the book was very vague as 'What is this book?' but the book understood which book Liam was talking about. Which meant that the book can read the reader's mind to get what information is actually asked.
Liam had got himself a search engine for magical knowledge, excitedly Liam started experimenting with the book, asking a lot of different questions.
After an hour of asking questions, Liam found out that the book wasn't so useful to him. The old knowledge in the book was written in ancient language which he didn't understand and it didn't know answers to some of the newer knowledge as not many modern wizards had touched this book.
Liam had another goal added to his list which was to let every professor touch the book.
He also found out that the book records personal information as well. But when asked about the previous users of the book the book doesn't give an answer.
Maybe someone added an enchantment to hide this information, because this was a piece of information which the book has but isn't showing. When asked about why it isn't showing this information the book answered that an enchantment was made by the previous owner to hide the identity of the previous owners of the book. To qualify as an owner of the book is easy, just use the book you will be registered as the owner.
When an owner is registered the book can only be used by the owner, when the book is abandoned by the owner. A new owner can be registered.
'So someone abandoned this book in the Library. But who would leave such a Great book in the Library only an idiot would do such a thing. Liam didn't know who its previous owner was, he didn't care now and also didn't plan to tell anyone about this book.

The next few weeks Liam attempted to get the professors to touch the book, he successfully gotmost of the professors to touch the book leaving Quirrell, he tried to avoid Quirrell as much as he could. Quirrell also didn't pay much attention to Liam. But still Liam avoided him, he didn't want Voldemort to notice him. Knowledge which Voldemort had was also very desirable to him as he was able to get nearly as strong as Dumbledore in a very short amount of time.
He was unable to get Snape and Dumbledore to touch the book, Snape was very conscious and attentive he asked used to ask many question for the little things. Liam didn't want his book to get confiscated he didn't want to take such high risk.
He knew that Snape and Dumbledore knows something about his parents and about the strangeness in his body so he was desperate to have Snape or Dumbledore touch the book.
He didn't even want Dumbledore to see him with the book because the person who put the enchantment to hide his identity may even be Dumbledore. He didn't want to risk Dumbledore finding out he has this book.
Prof. Binns was a ghost he didn't even know if ghost's knowledge could be stored. But a he could try. The next day he decided to get prof. Binns to touch the book.
The spirit of Prof. Binns was asleep on his desk snoring like a pig, "Zzzz Zzzz". Liam knocked on the door but the professor didn't wake up.
'How could I forget?! Ghosts don't have physical body. He wouldn't wake up from a knock.' Cedric had once told Liam a way to ward off bad spirits, it was part of third year student's syllabus in defense against dark arts.
He waved his wand and cast a false spell. HE didn't want to ward of the ghost of prof. Binns he just wanted to wake him up and the way to do it was just to cast a false spell, 'Ghosts are able to sense fluctuations in magic so it would be enough to wake up Prof. Binns' though Liam.
"WHO!! Who is… Ahh" Yawned Professor Binns, his ghost looked towards Liam who was standing at the door of his office. "You are a first year student aren't you? What brings you to see me."
"Professor, I just wanted to ask you some things." Liam said with an innocent smile using his innocent young face he had tricked many professors to touch the book now Prof.Binns was his next target.
"Ask away little boy whatever question you have I will answer you. If I have the answer that is." Said Prof. Binns with a happy expression, "Not many students come to ask me questions, you are the first one who came to ask something. Come in and have a sit."
Liam entered excitedly, he took out the black book on which he had written many questions, it wasn't actually the page of the book but a page added to the book by Liam. Any question written on the book would be answered so he had keep a page which looked as it was part of the book but wasn't.
He read the questions one after the other. Which Prof. Binns answered one after the other, He was a very knowledgeable person. It can even be said that he was second only to Nicolas flamel. In terms of age he was more likely 400 years old. And had continued his studies even after death. The only thing is that the subject he studied were not much useful. He studied History and ancient language. Ancient language was a must have skill for a historian because without it you wouldn't be able to read old manuscripts and books.
"Professor, how to pronounce this word can you tell me." He pushed the book towards the ghost of Prof. Binns. Professor Bins trying to read the word placed his finger on the book.
Liam could see that the golden frame of the book was shining a bit, it was an indicator that the knowledge was being recorded and stored in the book.
'Oh my god it works on ghosts too.'
He left after getting all the answers, thanking the ghost of prof. Binns for helping him.
The reason why Liam wanted to have Prof. Binns knowledge recorded in the book was because he noticed that some of the information which was written in Ancient language had been translated, only some of it. It was after he recorded the knowledge of many professors, that some of the information got translated. He got to know from Michael that the person most proficient in Ancient language was no other than Professor Binns.
Now he had His Knowledge recorded as well. Which meant he could learn the Ancient spells, Ancient Charms, Ancient enchantment techniques, Ancient Alchemy as well as Ancient potions.
Liam now had access to knowledge from the forbidden section of the Library as the professors read those books frequently. The book only records the knowledge which the wizard currently has which is why Liam made sure to keep the book updating so he made sure to get the professors to touch the book whenever he could.
He also got many senior students from his House to touch the book, it wasn't that hard considering his rise in popularity as a troll fighter. Harry and Hermione even had said that he was the one to fight and defeat the trolls not them. Which made his popularity even more.
Little wizards of his age flocked around him every day for a week the crowd lessened and lessened noticing that Liam spent most of his time in the Library. Liam was a study freak which made him very uninteresting.
